I have 2620 router with fxo card. The call is not disconnecting at the fxo side after the call is complete. This issue is happening only with PBX. With PSTN no problem.
I tested all options of our discconecting FXO card from cisco site. It didn't help.
Whether this is bug !!!!!!!!!!! help out guys!!!!!!!!!!!
Anybody faced similiar issues

You can find the Apple Bluetooth card on eBay for as little ten dollars (says its for the 2008 model Mac Pro, not sure about the 2007).

Here is a link to a full explanation of the card and how to install it. Part numbers may differ a bit as that is an old article and newer models have come out.

Just make sure that the part will work in your model Mac Pro. To that end, you may be better off avoiding eBay and going to a parts reseller. There are even third party cards that use the internal Apple bluetooth slot.

In theory, using a USB or PCI card will work at login so long as it is recognized by Apples drivers. You say you need to launch an application to use your current USB Bluetooth dongle? If it is not controlled by the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar then it must be using a third party driver of some sort. Unfortunately, I don't know off hand which USB and PCI cards are supported.

  • PC & MAC's on a network, disconnect issues, AT WITS END, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

    HI everyone...
This problem has me broken and utterly confused. I'm somewhat of a newbie to MAC, so I still have a PC my girlfriend uses that is wired to the router. She also has a gateway laptop w/ wireless card. I've seen the promised land and am the proud owner of a MacBook. The router is a Linksys WRTG54GS router, if that would help. The reason I bought the router is that it is noted as "very good."
I'm under suspician that it may have to do w/ Mac system updates...any ideas????
The only problem is when, the home network (with security or without) has the MAC on the network, the network breaks down after around 15-20 minutes. It works fine for that period of time, then in the wireless indicator on top, it always goes down to 4 bars, but the network is not accessible at all.
When it is only PC on the network, it stays up without any issues. I WANT TO USE MY MAC WITHOUT RESETTING MY ROUTER EVERY 20 MINUTES....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ps- I've updated the firmware and everything, to no avail, it doesn't work.

I had a similarly frustrating experience when setting up my Linksys WRT54GS wireless router. My new MacBook Pro would not connect to the Internet as it would not take an ip address from DHCP on the Linksys router.
The problem was that the latest firmware from Linksys for this router (1.50.9) is at fault. It is not compatible with Mac OS 10.4.8. In order to get things to work normally I had to downgrade the firmware of the router to version 1.50.8
You may have to hunt around the various Linksys forums sites to find version 1.50.8 as Linksys Canada would not provide it to me. I was told to use manually set ip addresses until a new firmware version was released. However, version 1.50.8 seems to be stable and working well for me.
There are similar problems with the compatibility of the firmware on the WRT54G Linksys router with OS 10.4.8 too, which also requires downgrading the firmware. Check the Linksys forums for more details as the firmware versions are different for this router.
    Good luck!

    Hi Duffynicol,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your iPad and your printer. From your description of the issue, it sounds like your printer may have become disconnected from your WiFi network (BT?). If that is the case, you may find the information and steps outlined in the following article helpful:

  • FXO disconnect Issue

I have a problem regarding the termination of FXO ports.
We have a call manager with IP Phones connected and a Cisco 2821
gateway with FXO ports. Now the issue is that when somebody calls
from PSTN to the IP Phone and disconnects the call before the IP PHone
user pick up the phone ,the IP PHone keeps ringing and the FXO port remains
up though the PSTN user has already disconnected the call.
I have read many documents regarding this issue on Cisco Web site.We successfully
resolved the issue but another problem arised after that.
NOw here are the 3 steps we did.
1)INitially we did not apply any configuration to the FXO ports .So we
were having the same problem as described above.
2)We applied the following configuration on the FXO Ports,
    voice class custom-cptone 1
    dualtone busy
    dualtone ringback
    dualtone reorder
    dualtone out-of-service
    dualtone number-unobtainable
    dualtone disconnect
    frequency 425 425
    cadence 200 200 200 200
    voice-port 0/1/0
    supervisory disconnect anytone
    supervisory custom-cptone 1
    input gain -6
    output attenuation 6
    echo-cancel coverage 24
    cptone SA
    caller-id enable
The problem resolved succesfully .The FXO port goes on hook when the
    PSTN user disconnects the call.
3)After applying the above config,we used a tcl script to provide
basic auto-attendant feature on the router. We started having the same FXO issue
again. Now based upon the above information ,how do u think we should
    resolve the problem.

  • Error (Err 02) in Canon 7D Mark II when doing image copy from SD to Flash card; is this a bug?

Using hardware and firmware as:- Camera: Canon 7D Mark II firmware ver. 1.0.4.- Flash card (1): Kingston 64 GB ultimate 266X- SD card (2): SanDisk 32 GB Extreme 60 MB/s Both cards where bought from authorized dealer, and looks genuine. Steps to generate the error:1: Test SD card (2) on PC with H2testw with no problems2: Format Flash card (1) in camera3: Format SD card (2) in camera, using low level format4: Take 1505 JPG images in high resolution to the SD card (2)5: Copy images from SD card (2) to Flash card (1) After copying of about 200 images, this resulted in error "Err 02", which cays:"Card2 cannot be accessed. Reinsert/change card2 or format card2 with camera." The problem had occurred previously with a Lexar SD card, so the above steps were made in order to reproduce the error and describe the exact steps taken for the error to occur. Are there anybody else that experience the same error ? Does this look like a bug in the Canon 7D Mark II using firmware ver. 1.0.4, or is there a way I can make it work ? Best regardsMortenZdk

Canon 2nd level support contacted me yesterday.
They said that this issue was unknown in their system.
In order to proceed they needed to read out additional error information from the camera, and such read-out is only possible on an authorized service size, since the software for such read-out is not available for users.
Canon where not interested in providing me the software to do the error read-out, so I could send this to them for further investigation in relation to the support case.
I suggested that the support person should request that such software for error read-out is made available for the end user, in order to provide further information in relation to support case, but the support person was not interested in going forward with such an idea.
Canon were not interested in trying to reproduce the problem them self, even through I offered to send them the SD and Flash cards that caused the problem.
So all Canon could do was to tell me to spendt additional time and money sending the camera to a service size, and then having to miss the camera for 14 days during while the service site investigates.
I must admit, that this has left me with a bad experience in relation to buying a relatively expensive Canon camera together with high-end brand memory cards. In my opinion, it looks like Canon is not giving the end user any good ways of determined the reason for an error, which could lead to product improvement for example a firmware fix.  All I can do, if I want to move on this this, and potentially help Canon fix their product, is to spend additional time and money sending the camera to a service size.
There is definitely room for improvement!

  • Open Cursor Issue because of file browse Item - Is this a Bug in APEX 3.2

    Hi All,
I am using file browse Item to upload file into the database at two places in my application, but it seems whenever I am submitting those two pages, with file path or without file path, its opening an cursor which remains open after that, because of this open cursor count in the application is getting exceeding every time.
For testing this I have made an dummy page containing just file browse item and submit button, and still it is increasing the open cursor count.
Is this a bug in Apex file browse item or there is some other way to handle this.
Please kindly help me in the above issue as this is affecting the production application.

    Hi,
One observation, Apex is switching the Session ID after one got killed ? I was working on Apex page with browse Item to test open cursor count,
after killing the SID (227) on which the open cursor count was getting increase, it APEX automatically switches to new SID(149) for that session.
Now the problem is even if I have two SID's and one hits the maximum open cursor count, It is not switching to other SID instead the whole application becomes unavailable.

  • Hi, I finally got lucky and past the "other" memory status issues when syncing. Now I'm "waiting for changes to be applied" sync stuck all night (itunes yesomite iPhone 6 plus). is this a bug? I have not had a single successful sync with yesomite.

hi, I finally got lucky and past the "other" memory status issues when syncing. Now I'm "waiting for changes to be applied" sync stuck all night (itunes yesomite iPhone 6 plus). is this a bug? I have not had a single successful sync with yesomite.
please help. this issue prevents music from syncing. I have set the sync setting to convert songs to 192kbps AAC to save space, I figure that could slow the sync
down, but it's hanging indefinitely (I've left it for 24 hours with out it completing.)
the the only music that appears on the phone are songs purchased from the iTunes Store. 95% of my collection are rips from my CDs.
    thank you for any help!

Yeah it's pretty sad that $1000 phone they put out you such cheap memory It causes issues, I have iPhone 6+128 GB actually this is the second brand-new one they gave me because they keep affording it trying to act like that's not the issue because they're too stupid to know how to check what memory is in each one before they give it to me when I have told them multiple times my back up runs perfectly fine on two 5s phones and a 6 64GB of course running MLC memory.
I told them it's because just like the write ups say I have 809 apps but I have not even put all my music on the phone so I'm still running 50 to 60 gigs free and it crashes and reboots itself sometimes in multitasking and more often than it does that in between multitasking I get a black screen for 1 to 2 seconds in between apps and upon start up the Apple logo screen will flicker and do weird things, One of the genius idiots asked me if I could just delete some of my apps, really that's the answer to fix the phone the customer needs to limit the amount to apps they put on their phone, why the **** get a 128 gig if you can't put on anything you want to it guess they need to start selling them saying you can only put a limited number of apps on them, it's really is a **** joke, I have over $20,000 of Apple merchandise easily and always get the new phone every year but I'm starting to reconsider my decisions in the future because this company is starting to go downhill, The reason water not recalling the phones is because they're dealing with their top-of-the-line thousand dollar phones in this case and most people don't have over two or 300 apps so they're not having as many issues, so basically they have messed up phones they just don't know it in their hands and Apple is just too **** greedy to recall the phones, they'd rather sell customer spends that only work half ***.
Stuff like this will be the downfall of their company, all the people that stay with them because as long as you don't jailbreak their stuff it normally just works without issue will be soon jumping ship if stuff like this keeps up, because I can guarantee they got me thinking now.
not that I wanted to know or should I be expected to but I even offered for them to open up my brand-new phone and just replace the memory to MLC memory which is something I shouldn't have to do with a brand-new **** phone, they should just make one with the right memory and give me a new phone, actually just don't sell customers that buy the top-of-the-line phone from you trash ones in the first place that would be a great option.
what burns me up the most is when you talk to AppleCare and Genius Bar they try to act like the issue isn't there and they're unaware of it, they say that Apple hasn't come out with any information about it, yeah that's because they don't want to recall the trash.
Apple has became nothing better than your run-of-the-mill company, android is becoming just as good as they are sad to say this since I have been an Apple fan for so long but there is no excuse for BS like this they have been looking for options to fix my phone for a month now this is not the way you should treat loyal customers, I would've been better off keeping my 5S and in the future just switching to android.
it's pretty sad that the company has no idea how to check which memory is in their **** phone and even after I offered to let them just replace the memory in my new phone by opening up my brand-new phone to replace it they have no idea how to do that either, yeah Genius Bar sure, I think that should change the name to idiot bar and Apple don't care instead of Apple care.

  • Issue when creating SPFILE from pfile; Is this a bug ?

    Version : 11.2
    os : AIX
I created a pfile from spfile stored it in a non-default location ie. a location other than ORACLE_HOME/dbs
create pfile='/u01/oracle/mytest_pfile.ora' from spfile;I brought down the DB , and started the DB using the above pfile from non-default location
startup pfile='/u01/oracle/mytest_pfile.ora'  -- pfile in a non-default locationNow i am creating an SPFILE from the pfile without explicitly mentioning the pfile file name in the non-default file location.
create spfile='/u01/oracle/mytest_spfile_sep23_2011.ora' from pfile;Using strings command (in AIX) I verified the contents of the spfile . It seems that if you don't mention the file name of pfile , then oracle reads the pfile which is in
ORACLE_HOME/dbs and NOT the pfile from the non-default location which is used to startup the instance !!! . Isn't this a bug?

    No ,it's not a bug.
order of precedence of parameter file is as follow :
    1.) spfileSID.ora --- non default
    2.) default spfile
    3.) initSID.ora --- non default pfile
    4.) default pfile
    In your case i.e; create spfile='/u01/oracle/mytest_spfile_sep23_2011.ora' from pfile;
here it is reading pfile from fefault pfile because it will always search the pfile or spfile in dba directory .
if you want to create the spfile from non-default pfile then create spfile as :
    create spfile='/u01/oracle/mytest_spfile_sep23_2011.ora' from pfile='/u01/oracle/mytest_pfile.ora' ;
    --neeraj

  • FXS versus FXO cards in 2821

I am new to Cisco CME and VOIP and am trying to configure a new 2821 with CME 4.1. I have two 4 port FXS cards. The intent was to use the ports on these cards to connect to PSTN POTS lines for inbounce and outbound cards. Can I use these FXS cards for this purpose or do they need to be FXO cards? According to the description they do as the FXS is intended to have phones connected and supplies dial-tone and the FXO does not supply dial-tone and is intended to be connected to PSTN. The reason that I am a little confused is that I have configured the system to dial out but was having issues where it would not hang up the line.

    Hi Michael,
    Here is some background info to add to Paolos always Great info (hey P.);
    Analog Telephony Protocols
Analog telephony signaling, the original signaling protocol, provides the method for connecting or disconnecting calls on analog trunks. By using direct current (DC) over two-wire or four-wire circuits to signal on-hook and off-hook conditions, each analog trunk connects analog endpoints or devices such as a PBX or analog phone.
To provide connections to legacy analog central offices and PBXs, Cisco CallManager uses analog signaling protocols over analog trunks that connect voice gateways to analog endpoints and devices . Cisco CallManager supports these types of analog trunk interfaces:
Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) Analog trunks that connect a gateway to a central office (CO) or private branch exchange (PBX).
Foreign Exchange Station (FXS) Analog trunks that connect a gateway to plain old telephone service (POTS) device such as analog phones, fax machines, and legacy voice-mail systems.
    From this good doc;
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00801ec5cc.html#1134121
    FXS and FXO Interfaces
An FXS interface connects the router or access server to end-user equipment such as telephones, fax machines, or modems. The FXS interface supplies ring, voltage, and dial tone to the station and includes an RJ-11 connector for basic telephone equipment, keysets, and PBXs.
An FXO interface is used for trunk, or tie line, connections to a PSTN CO or to a PBX that does not support E&M signaling (when local telecommunications authority permits). This interface is of value for off-premise station applications. A standard RJ-11 modular telephone cable connects the FXO voice interface card to the PSTN or PBX through a telephone wall outlet.
FXO and FXS interfaces indicate on-hook or off-hook status and the seizure of telephone lines by one of two access signaling methods: loop start or ground start. The type of access signaling is determined by the type of service from the CO; standard home telephone lines use loop start, but business telephones can order ground start lines instead.
Loop-start is the more common of the access signaling techniques. When a handset is picked up (the telephone goes off-hook), this action closes the circuit that draws current from the telephone company CO and indicates a change in status, which signals the CO to provide dial tone. An incoming call is signaled from the CO to the handset by sending a signal in a standard on/off pattern, which causes the telephone to ring.
Loop-start has two disadvantages, however, that usually are not a problem on residential telephones but that become significant with the higher call volume experienced on business telephones. Loop-start signaling has no means of preventing two sides from seizing the same line simultaneously, a condition known as glare. Also, loop start signaling does not provide switch-side disconnect supervision for FXO calls. The telephony switch (the connection in the PSTN, another PBX, or key system) expects the router's FXO interface, which looks like a telephone to the switch, to hang up the calls it receives through its FXO port. However, this function is not built into the router for received calls; it only operates for calls originating from the FXO port.
Another access signaling method used by FXO and FXS interfaces to indicate on-hook or off-hook status to the CO is ground start signaling. It works by using ground and current detectors that allow the network to indicate off-hook or seizure of an incoming call independent of the ringing signal and allow for positive recognition of connects and disconnects.
    From this very descriptive doc;
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1835/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080080afd.html

  • FXO calls disconnect when answered

    Hi
I've been struggling with this issue for over a month and both I and TAC seem to be stumped.
I have a customer with a small office that we are trying to migrate to a centralized CCM cluster. They have a 1760V with 4 analog lines that we want to connect to an FXO card. When we connect the lines to the router for testing I get the following behavior.
PSTN caller calls into the system.
The IP phone user hears the phone ring and answers the call.
The IP phone user sees the call disconnect After a second or two, the call begins to ring again on the IP phone If the IP phone user answers the call again, the call disconnects and the process repeats The PSTN caller hears ringback the whole time.
The problem seems to be that the router is interpreting a disconnect coming from the telco.

I've talked to the CO guy but he's been little help. I did have them run a ground start trunk for testing but it exibits the same behavior.
I've tried every combination of battery-reversal supervisory disconnect etc... that I can think of but I cannot seem to solve this problem.
TAC does not think its hardware related but I'm going to send a replacement router out just in case.
I'm hoping someone might have some suggestions for me.
    Thanks in advanced.

I have seen this problem before where the polarity on the wires were reversed and/or the physical wiring is physically 4 pairs instead of 2. The physical wires going into the fxo ports should be 2 wire.
Please have the telco verify that the polarity is not reversed [ make sure that verify/re-verify ] as sometimes they claim to check, but are not diligent enough when checking.
If the gateway is somehow detecting battery-reversal, then it will essentially disconnect the PSTN call leg, which will cause the ip phone to see a disconnect. Next, because the PSTN continues to ring the call, a second call will come in [ from the view of the ip phone ]. To test if battery reversal is causing the problem, you can temporarily disable battery-reversal detection on the voice port by using the following command:
    router#test voice port 1/1/0 detector battery-reversal
If after disabling battery-reversal, and this problem dissapears, then there is your problem. Please note that the test voice port command only lasts until the router is rebooted.

    Tony

I just bought this Lenovo H535 desktop in early September and this OS has been driving me CRAZY.  After spending well over a month and performing maybe 7 clean installations, I'm trying to get this stupid & worthless operating system to work correctly, I'm left with one issue(that I know of) I cannot resolve.
Now that I've upgraded Win 8.1 core (clean install from RTM iso), my USB 3.0 external Fantom Greendrive is disconnecting on it's own. In Windows 8, it stays connected FOR EVER, but in Windows 8.1, I'm having issues. Of course the drive is plugged into the back of the PC and I've tried each of the USB 3.0 ports. One thing I can tell you is, this USB 3.0 device disconnects at the same exact time each time..... NOT RANDOMLY. Disconnects that the same time provided I don't change any of the PC's hardware settings. And I'm now troubleshooting this isse on a freshly installed system:
Normally the Fantom HD disconnects in 7 min 15 sec.  I have tried:
Disabling the USB Selective Suspend  in the Power Options -  Doesn't work.  USB 3.0 disconnects in 7 min 15 sec.
Also disabled the HD from sleeping also in the same panel.- Doesn't work.  USB 3.0 disconnects in 7 min 15 sec..
Regardless of what I'm doing on the computer in the background, it always disconnects at the same exact time.
Tried disabling the Power service all together(no power options.) - USB 3.0 disconnects in 22 min 45 sec.
I turn Power Service back on and disabled about 10 uneeded  services - USB 3.0 disconnects in 7 min 15 sec..
OK, after installing ANOTHER fresh install of Win 8.1, and installing the Windows Updates, BUT this time I have installed ALL updated device drivers from the Lenovo support site for Win 8.1  Even though most devices were running ok with MS generic drivers.   I thought that the installation of a new Chipset Driver and USB Filter Driver would fix the issue. Nope. I GET THE SAME DARN DISCONNECTING.
Conclusion. In Windows 8 Core, the USB 3.0 external Fantom HD stays connected for EVER  but in Win 8.1 core- it's disconnecting. That leads me to believe that Windows 8.1 core has some bugs. With my limited experience, it seems that there is NOT physical power shortage. but a Windows 8.1 bug. (works good in windows 8) Another thing that may be related is with Win 8.1, the PC will not go to sleep. Sleeping issues is defitely a bug
Everyone on most sites I've read said to install the chipset drivers and it will work fine. Well, with me, everything is the exception.
Can the Fantom HD disonnecting on it's own all the time, corrupt anything on it?
Does anyone have any resolve or any additional info on this????  I really would appreciate it. I kind of like Win 8.1 better than 8 because it's the lesser of 2 evils.  Oh, I'm glad to a member in the forum

Hello again.  I found the solution!! Simplly clean installing Windows 7pro  and getting rid of Windows 8 did the trick. the USB 3.0 hard drive stays connected as long as I like. The 3.0 speeds are great also.  It's a shame I bought Windows 8 on a pre-installed system, but I'm never gonna use it. I like the fact that Lenovo provided the Windows 7 Drivers on the support website for my H535 which gave me the opportunity to install OEM and AMD drivers as opposed to microsoft generic drivers.
Now I need to find a product key. I don't know where to look or if any product key work work. Would buying a Retail box work? Seems like overkill just for a key. Can I buy a downloadable product product key for a cheaper price? Thanks
To add: I found out that the Windows 7 pro x64 retail boxes (DVD, COA, KEY) are about $130-$140.  I don't think I want to buy a key without the COA which is proof that your key is authentic.

  • Still no fix for USB card sleep Issue

Hi I just bought a 3rd party USB 2.0 card (an IOGEAR GIC251U). When I plug my LaCie extrenal USB drive in it works fine, until the computer has been to sleep. When the computer wakes up the drive has disappeared and I get a message saying that the drive has been improperly disconnected and that I can damage it by not ejecting before disconnecting.
Looking at the posts on this forum, it seems that this PCI USB card sleep issue is a persistant problem. I have even heard buying a card described as a "crap shoot".
That is not an acceptable answer to me. I insist that Apple reccomend a USB 2.0 card that it is willing to garuntee will work with my mac (an AGP G4 blue and white tower). If not, how can Apple in good faith sell computers with PCI that isnt equipped to handle built in apple features such as the sleep mode? I don't mean to sound like a demanding jerk of a customer but I dont think it is too much to ask that my computers advertised features (PCI expandability and sleep mode) both be able to work together.

    Hi
xlr8yourmac.com has a wealth of info on compatable devices of all kinds, it's often worth looking there & other Mac sites before purchasing..
Apple cannot possibly determine compatability of all available 3rd party devices, it is up to the vendor to determine what systems/OS versions their hardware will support.
I would stick with a vendor that is known for Mac support, such as Sonnet (or others that are sold through Mac sites such as OWC, SmallDog,etc.,) unless you are willing to do significant research on a specific product for compatability with your specific setup prior to purchasing.
