  • How to get Accounting document number from billing document number

    Hi,
How to get Accounting document number from billing document number i.e. from VBAK- VBELN.
    Cheta Pant

    Hi,
VBAK is the Sale Order header table, Billing document table is VBRK.
Sales tables (VBAK,VBAP,VBRP,VBRK) do not store accounting document numbers.
You do other way around. Just go to SE16 and enter the Billing document number in field Billing document VBELN in BSEG or BSID or BSAD table and execute, you will find the accounting document number.
If you just want collect this information once then you can use table BSEG, but if you think to develope a report then use table BSID and BSAD.

  • Relation accounting document number and clearing document number

    Hi everyone,
What is the relation between accounting document number and clearing document number.

For every accounting document when it is posted it should be available in BKPF Doc header table.. Once that document is closed or cleared..there is any entry made to BSAK for Vendors (Cleared Items) or BSAD for Customers (Cleared Items).
Eg: When a invoice is generated for a PO it gets created and is still not cleared or is not closed , it makes an entry in BSIK. Once it is closed it is available in BSAK.
Same is the case with Sales order..

  • Get FI Documet number from BKPF table using CO document number in COVP tabl

    Hi,
In  datasource 0CO_OM_CCA_9 , we have written a code in CMOD to get the FI Document Number from CO document Number.
    The flow of code is:
    1) From the CO document number, get reference document number  (REFBNfield) from, COVP table
    2) Pass this REFBN in AWKEY(10) field of BKPF table.
    3) We have created new field in datasource named 'ZBELRE' which gets populated with BELNR field obtained from BKPF table.
This ZBELNR is the FI Document number.
But somehow wrong FI Document number is getting populated.
After analyzing code, we found that the AWKEY which we passed in BKPF table is incomplete and the full AWKEY is
    COVP-REFBN+COVP-AWORG
Is this condition always remains true in all the cases? Also, is the selection criterion which we have used to find the FI document number from BKPF table is sufficient?
Our CO Consultant says that we should also pass AWTYP along with AWKEY in BKPF table.
    Please suggest a solution.
    Following is the code :

  • Use SQL function to get the original order number using the invoice number

    Hi All,
wondering is someone can help me with this challenge I am having?  Often I need to return the original order numbers that created the resulting invoce.  This is a relatively simple seriese of joins in a query but I am wanting to simplify it using a SQL function that can be referenced each time easily from with in the SELECT statement.  the code i currently have is:
Use SQL function to get the original order number using the invoice number
    CREATE FUNCTION dbo.fnOrdersThatMakeInvoice(@InvNum int)
    RETURNS nvarchar(200)
    AS
    BEGIN
    DECLARE @OrderList nvarchar(200)
    SET @OrderList = ''
    SELECT @OrderList = @OrderList + (cast(T6.DocNum AS nvarchar(10)) + ' ')
FROM  OINV AS T1 INNER JOIN
          INV1 AS T2 ON T1.DocEntry = T2.DocEntry INNER JOIN
          DLN1 AS T4 ON T2.BaseEntry = T4.DocEntry AND T2.BaseLine = T4.LineNum INNER JOIN
          RDR1 AS T5 ON T4.BaseEntry = T5.DocEntry AND T4.BaseLine = T5.LineNum INNER JOIN
          ORDR AS T6 ON T5.DocEntry = T6.DocEntry
    WHERE T1.DocNum = @InvNum
    RETURN @OrderList
    END
it is run by the following query:
    Select T1.DocNum, dbo.fnOrdersThatMakeInvoice(T1.DocNum)
    From OINV T1
Where T1.DocNum = 'your invoice number here'
The issue is that this returns the order number for all of the lines in the invoice.  Only want to see the summary of the order numbers.  ie if 3 orders were used to make a 20 line inovice I only want to see the 3 order numbers retuned in the field.
If this was a simple reporting SELECT query I would use SELECT DISTINCT.  But I can't do that.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Thanks Gordon,
I am trying to get away from the massive table access list everytime I write a query where I need to access the original order number of the invoice.  However, I have managed to solve my own problem with a GROUP BY statement!
Others may be interested so, the code is this:
    CREATE FUNCTION dbo.fnOrdersThatMakeInvoice(@InvNum int)
    RETURNS nvarchar(200)
    AS
    BEGIN
    DECLARE @OrderList nvarchar(200)
    SET @OrderList = ''
    SELECT @OrderList = @OrderList + (cast(T6.DocNum AS nvarchar(10)) + ' ')
FROM  OINV AS T1 INNER JOIN
          INV1 AS T2 ON T1.DocEntry = T2.DocEntry INNER JOIN
          DLN1 AS T4 ON T2.BaseEntry = T4.DocEntry AND T2.BaseLine = T4.LineNum INNER JOIN
          RDR1 AS T5 ON T4.BaseEntry = T5.DocEntry AND T4.BaseLine = T5.LineNum INNER JOIN
          ORDR AS T6 ON T5.DocEntry = T6.DocEntry
    WHERE T1.DocNum = @InvNum
    GROUP BY T6.DocNum
    RETURN @OrderList
    END
and to call it use this:
    Select T1.DocNum, dbo.fnOrdersThatMakeInvoice(T1.DocNum)
    From OINV T1
Where T1.DocNum = 'your invoice number'

  • MM Document number and FI document number is a single table

    Dear Friends,
Could you please let me know the table where both MM document number and FI document number will be available. I checked in BKPF and it is only updating FI document number and not MM document number and in MKPF it is only updating MM doc number and not FI document number.
Also let me know if there is any report/tcode/program available to view this at one place itself.
    Regards,

    hi
i dont think you can view both table in one screen.
in T-CODE:SE16N you can see one by one table.

  • Link to find Accounting document number from Material document number / PO

    Hi
We are working on a custom report, in which we need to print purchasing details (from EKPO, EKKO & EKBE) as well as accounting details (from BSEG & BKPF). We need to hit BKPF/BSEG with the accounting document number, since it is the only key field (though PO number is there in BKPF, we can not use this because it is not a key field)
My question from which table we get the accounting document number ? We need to provide a link between purchasing & accounting through accounting document number, but how to find the accounting document number. ?
    Thanks
    Venkat.

    Venkat,
I guess you are trying to fetch Accouting Documents for goods receipt against PO.
To do this, you need to look at the PO History table (EKBE) and find out the Corresponding material document (VGABE = 1 for good receipt).
Get the value of BELNR and GJAHR.
Concatenate BELNR and GJAHR into your refernce key (like BKPF-AWKEY).
Then use this key to read table BKPF with the following key
AWTYP = 'MKPF' for Material document
AWKEY = reference key generated above.
AWSYS = the value of the logical system (if used) or blanks
This will get you quicker access as compared to what you've described below. In this case, the system uses a standard SAP Index "Index by application type and key" to fetch the relevant records.
    Hope this helps.

  • Accounting Document number from Purchasing Document Number

    Hi Gurus,
My Requirement is that i have a Purchasing Document number (EBELN) and i need Accounting Document Number( BELNR_D)  so that i can get the Amount in Document Currency (WRBTR) for that document .

    Hi,
    Check table EKBE.

  • Issue using material document number as dynamic bin for purchase orders

    Hi...
We are currently using the material document number as a dynamic bin at receiving because we expect to have multiple receipts of the same purchase order.  The current setup has everything going into quality inspection, and an inspection lot creates for each goods receipt.
When QM rejects parts to return to vendor, a 122 movement is automatically generated.  When this 122 movement generates, the WM stock overview shows a negative balance using the material document number of the 122 movement as the dynamic bin.  The positive balance still shows as the material document from the 101 movement.
Is there any configuration that can be set up to fix this issue or will SAP always take the most recent material document as the dynamic bin?
    Thanks for the help!

I've tried the following configuration with movement type configuration:
Quality stock in 902 storage type with material document as dynamic bin (requirement type configuration updated).  When a return to vendor is completed, there is a positive balance in 902 with the GR material doc number as the bin and a negative balance with the 122 material doc # as the bin.
I also tried configuring this with using GR-DOCK as a bin, and had the issue with the quant record being updated by the most recent inspection lot #.
I also tried using the PO as dynamic bin, and have the same error as above with the quant.
    Error:
Error during creation of transfer orders for material document 0026001535
    Date: 05/16/2008
    Time: 10:52:23
    Post.chge not. HR1 2000000011
No quants exist for posting changes
So as according to the OSS note I should use material doc # as dynamic bin to avoid this...but when I set this up I get the issue with positive and negative balances in my stock overview because SAP uses the most recent material document number for each posting.

  • Display of FI document numbe and material document number

    Hi,
I want to display both the material document number ( RBKP ) and the acccounting document number ( BSET ) together while posting the Invoice using MIRO transaction.
Pl provide with your valuable suggestions.
    Regards,
    R. Dillibabu.

    Hi Arif,
We wanted to generate a number during invoice verification based upon the order type of the PO, As you know it is not possible to generate a order specific material document number but it is possible to generate a order specific accounting document number provided we can select RE or ZE while processing invoice verification.
This accounting document number will be considered as a claim number for one of the customized business process ( Warranty Claim process ).
The user has to record the claim number on a daily basis. Currently it is being done by passig the RBKP-BELNR to the BKPF to get the accounting document number ( BELNR ) which is quite tedious.
Hope the business functionality is quite clear now.

  • Invoice number vs PO document number

    Hi Experts,
Can any one explain me how to join the Invoice account number,PO document number and  dates of PO and invoice generated dates?
I want to merge all these fields in one single table. So need some joining condition to merge all these fields.
    Thank you,
    Vinay

    Hi,
If you want all these data in a single table, you may define user defined LIS info structure as explained in the doc: How to Create an LIS info structure - Purchasing - Part 1 and then update the historical data to the table as explained in the doc: Update History Data to user defined LIS (Purchasing)
If you just want to track the data, you may link the tables: EKPO, EKBE, RBKP, RSEG, BKPF and BSEG. You may pass the PO number & item to RSEG table and get the invoice number. Pass the invoice number with year to BKPF - AWKEY field and get the accounting document number. Pass the accounting doc number to BSEG table to get the item details.

  • Material Document Number and FI document Number.

    Hi All,
I am facing problem when I get FI document number that had appeared in BSEG table. Posting Key of 70 appeared in the table, but what is transparent table of Posting key 70's entries. I am getting DR and CR. amount from BSIS, BSAS and BSIK and BSAK tables. but these table have not 70's posting key. During the coding I have to relate BSEG table with other table. That is why I am asking for 70's posting key table which generated from miro.
