Gallery (3.0.2): Bugs & no sorting option make the App useless

I recently received my Touchpad. When I openend the Gallery App I was impressed by the design and the nice integration. Unfortunately, I had to find out soon that - while the app looks good - it is practically useless. This is basically for two reasons:
1. There is no option at all to sort the files within one folder. I always assumed that this would be the first thing a developer would think of. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I recently copied the pics of my last holiday to the Touchpad, only to find out that they were appearing in random order. There is no chance to sort or rearrange them, so in the end I left my Touchpad at home and took my notebook with me to show the pictures to my family. Very disappointing.
2. Pictures show up twice. When I flicked through the copied pictures, the Touchpad would display several pictures twice. So when I swiped to the next picture, it would show the same one again. I first thought that the pictures actually were duplicates. But when I deleted one of the - assumed - duplicates, the other one was gone as well.
Additionally - as I'm already writing this post: I'm desperately missing the Picasa / Google Pictures integration.
I would be really happy if HP / Palm would solve these issues, as I think that browing pictures should be one of the very basic features.
Is this forum monitored by HP / Palm support / development staff? Otherwise: is there an official contact to write to?

This is base functionality - touchpad should not have been released wiltout the ability to change sort/view order etc. Please get this sorted ASAP, re-iterate to the WebOS team that this should of been base functionality and it is an urgent requirement. I am aware of quite a few new touchpad oweners who are extremely disappointed and shocked that you cannot even sort photos into a logical order.

Upgrading to IOS6 was a big, big, big mistake..... I needed the street view feature for travelling about.... What they have in now is crap !!!
Also.... YouTube app is gone.... Is this supposed to be progress ???

This module can only be used in conjuction with a product search form. Whenever you insert a product search form into a page the system also adds the {module_productresults} module right after the form. When viewed in the front end this module does not render anything until the form's "Search" button is presed and a search is triggered. This module and the product search form can also be placed on different pages, take a look at this article for more details on this particular setup.
Parameters
rowLength - will limit the number of items per row when items are displayed as a list. Default is 1 item per row.
targetFrame - possible values are _blank, _self and _top. This parameter is used to specify the frame you want the item to open in.
resultsPerPage - specifies the number of results the search will display per page.
sortType - sortType can be alphabetical, price, date, or weight. Do note the sortType is ignored if the "Sort By" field is present in the product search form.
hideEmptyMessage - specify True if you don't want the No Items Found message to be displayed
UseLi - specify True to render the output in Li's instead of tables

How can I reinstall Pages on my MacBook Pro? I only have the "open" option in the App store

After installing Yosemite, Pages would not open on my MacBook Pro anymore, so I uninstalled it, with the idea of reinstalling it, but now I cannot. The App store under "Purchases" only gives me the option to open Pages. How can I install it?

What version of Pages?
What version of Pages did you have before you installed Yosemite?
How did you uninstall it?
If the App Store shows Open that means you probably have Pages 5.5.3 installed in Applications.

German menu options in the app store instead of English

When I select the app store icon on my iPad main screen, I am taken to the US based app store, however all menu options are in German. The apps themselves are still US based and still in US currency I.e I do not have Germany selected as my country otherwise they would be German apps. I want US everything. I bought my iPad 2 weeks ago and is been like this since I started it. iTunes on the other hand is completely in English.
1. my language preference is set to english within the iPad itself.
2. I have changed iTunes language preferences to English
3. I have ensured the flag in the bottom corner is US not Germany
4. My credit card account is US based and I have a US address
5. I have made all language changes on my laptop and synced.
Does anyone have any suggestion as to how to change these menu options to English instead of German? Thx

Thanks for your quick reply.   I have purchsed iPhoto 9.5.   And I downloaded and installed the Library Upgrader 1.1, before first opening the newly installed iPhoto 9.5 (as recommended). I can tell that iPhoto 9.5 has been installed - as the icon is now blue (and not organe/red).
Then I tried to open iPhoto, and received a notification - that I must first install the Library Upgrader 1.1.   I restarted the MacBook.   Tried again.   Same notification messages.   I downloaded (and installed) the Library Upgrader 1.1, again.   Restarted the MacBook.   Tried to open iPhoto again.   Same notification messages.
These notifications give me only 2 options - to QUIT iPhoto or to "Learn More" about the download of the Library Upgrader (and a link to do so).
One observation that might be a part of the issue (or the diagnosis).   The system requirements cited on the download page indicate the following... and NOT OS X Mavericks.
OS X Lion 10.7
OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or later
Any suggestions on how I might get iPhoto to work??   THANKS!!

I need to have update option for the apps already installed on Afaria

I already uploaded apps on Afaria client. After that I make some changes to the app and again uploaded the apk and ipa of Apps. For the users who already installed apps previously , got UPDATE option. But they face following error while updating app.
In a nutshell user cant update his app but he has to uninstall it and again download and install it. Can anyone suggest solution for this?

Hi Aditya,
After making changes to the project you need to create apk from it with the same certificate that was created for the first time. I believe that the android developer is creating new certificate each time when the app is updated, resulting in this issue.

Have Apple removed the "Last Compatible Version" option from the App Store ?

I got an iPad 2 and am giving my dad my old iPad 1. Apple recently let you download the latest version of an app for the version of iOS you were on, this worked fine on my AppleID and I was able to download the last compatible version of every app I wanted. But since i restored this iPad and created an email address and AppleID for my Dad, any app requiring iOS6 or higher is giving me the same message as it did before Apple made the change, as in you need to upgrade to iOS 6 (not possible on iPad 1). I dont understand why its doing this, any idea why its done this now ?.

You'll need to download the existing current version of the App before you get the option for a compatible version.
You can do this from a compatible device or a computer running iTunes using your Dad's Apple ID so the Apps are associated with it.
Once you've downloaded the Apps you want on a compatible device or a computer running iTunes you can then go to the Purchased Tab in the App Store App on the first gen iPad to get the last compatible version for the first gen iPad.
Note that not all Apps may have compatible versions available.

I follow artists when I want to remember to check them out. It would be nice if the list was sorted by something. Ideally "date added".

How can I set my payment options in the App Store to 'none' so that I can continue to update the apps and use free ones?

Which option makes the internet experience faster?

I am looking to speed up my wireless internet browsing experience and I don't really know much about networks. I currently have an old 802.11b/g three base station airport network at home on a wds setting and I pay for a network speed of 1.5 Mbps with my ISP. It works smoothly, but I would like to speed it up if I can. I have heard that going to the 802.11n standard can speed it up but I have also heard that increasing the Mbps with the ISP will speed it up too. I am on a budget so I can either upgrade my airports by getting the 802.11n airport extreme or I can increase the speed by going to 6.0 Mbps with my ISP, but not both at this time. I have no clue what to do about this because I don't really understand it. What I hope to avoid is upgrading one only to find out that it was pointless because not upgrading the other cripples the one I upgraded. So, should I upgrade either the airports or the ISP speed now (if so, which one?), save money to upgrade both later, or none at all. Please help point me in the right direction. Thanks much. :O)

Reading your post again, I will assume that you have 3 devices set up in a WDS configuration. With b/g devices, the maximum bandwidth capability on your network with the 3 devices would be around 13 Mbps. Actual throughput is typically much less, so call it 7 Mbps.
With that, your "internet experience" will improve with a faster connection from your ISP. With a 6 Mbps connection, your wireless will be able to handle the signal. With your existing equipment, the internet experience on your network is going to be limited by your internet connection, not the equipment.
It's true that newer 802.11n devices can operate at substantially faster wireless speeds. This would benefit you if you were transferring files, backing up, etc from device to device over your local network. But, your internet experience would continue to be limited by your connection speed.

Sorting options in table maintenance

Hi All,
I have created one ztable and created table maintenace generator for the same and also created the transaction code for the same to maintain the data just like SM30.
Here my requirement is as soon as we execute the transaction code, it will display all the fields to maintain. with the options of change, new entries, copy as, select all, deselect all, delete etc.. But along with that I need to have the sorting options at the application tool bar.

you may have to change the tablemaintenance function group , you may need to include those option by changing the pf-status and the corresponding function needs to handled in the pai.
instead of that...
i would suggest you to use custom program to maintain the table entries.

Problem with column sort option

I have a two page form application. Page 1 shows a list of entered estimates for a sales consultant. Page 2 is the detailed estimation page. When I delete the record on the detail-page and branch back to page 1 I get the follwoing error. "failed to parse SQL query: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: NULL index table key value". This happens only when I remove the last estimation record AND I have at least one column flagged as "sort". If I take the sort option of the column(s) it is working fine. If I exit the page and come back-in again everything is fine as well. I have specified to clear the cache when I branch from page 2 to page 1. I hope this is enough detail.

I think I get really good at answering my own questions.
It seems when you select the sort option on a column you must also set the "Sort Sequence".
