Game Levels In iPhone

I've decided to make a little game for a little project, but there is one element to game programming that I am completely clueless about: How levels work.
My hypothetical game would be a birds-eye-view adventure game, where the "camera" would follow the character. The way that seems most logical would be to have an array of enemies and their coordinates for each level and then load a different array depending on what the user selected. However, I have no basis for this assumption.
I also am not sure how to make the "camera" follow the character or what happens to off screen enemies.
*Could someone please explain some method for creating varying levels in games?*

Levels - one way is to build a list and then drill down thru it based on parent, children count, X-Y touched, etc. This can be done with one reusable view - then jump to optional views for whatever as needed... scores, about, etc.
It might be a bit over your head just to start - consider building other more simple apps and working up to it.

I am working small card board game, in which I have three levels. I have finished completing level. I need to move to next level. I have a Main View.m, in which I have written code in all touches methods. I am little bit lost in setting levels and game play. Can somebody point me to right direction or any code samples?

It sounds like you should make several decisions about your program structure before thinking about how to code it. Here are some questions that might help organize your thinking:
1) Do I need a different view for each level, or can I just change the logic and/or a few minor details of the main view (like labels, background images, etc.)?
2) Should I be using at least one view controller? If the view or logic for each level is quite different, maybe I want a separate nib file with a different view controller/view combination for each level.
3) What kind of transition should take place when the user moves to the next level? This question applies even if the view stays the same, but if the view will change, I need to decide what kind of animation I want.
4) What kind of support will I need for saving the game? As I think about the structure for each level it might be good to think about how much information needs to be saved for each level. This is secondary to the above questions, but it's helpful to organize state variables before coding begins.

How do I share game apps between iphone and my new ipad and save the levels already played?

I have loaded by iphone apps onto my ioad but the game levels have not been saved. Is there a way (easy) to share the games i.e. Angry Birs and others between the two devices?

Some games provide for cross-device syncronization, some do not. For example, Words With Friends syncs across devices; Angry Birds does not.

How can I temporarily remove games from my iPhone without losing the app data included?

My iPhone 5 is running low on space so I plan on cleaning it out soon. I have a lot of games on my iPhone with app data included that I don't play as often. I was planning on removing these temporarily because some day I might want to play them again but I'm afraid I won't have my progress anymore. Ex: My levels conquered on Cut The Rope or my worlds on Minecraft PE.
So is there a solution out there for me to be able to temporarily remove my games without losing their app data? All feedback is greatly appreciated and I how there is a way to do this!

The only way to recover the data for a deleted app would be to restore from a backup made before you deleted the app. Apps and their data are integral to eachother, so deleting one deletes the other.
If you have a backup, you could restore from that to restore an App's data, but a restore is also an all or nothing option - the restore will restore everything to the state of the backup, not single or selective items.
Other than that, there is no way to acheive what you wish - if you delete the app you delete its data.

I just purchased an iPad and none of my Game Center games from my iPhone are transferring over. The games are there, but I can not access the levels that I have made it to on my iPhone using my iPad. How do I make sure these sync entirely so that I can play on my current levels?

From your post I understand you're not getting any audio output from your speakers when you're playing games. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
Try turning off Bluetooth.
If you experience difficulties with the Bluetooth feature, follow these troubleshooting steps.
Restart the iPhone.
If restarting doesn't fix the issue, ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.

HT4314 How do I change the Game Center login name...I've has issues with getting GC to align my iPad game to the iPhone correctly.

I have been playing a game on the iPad (called D.S.F) & then wanted to link it to my iPhone with Game Center.
The problem is when it tried doing it...It asked me to choose a game name on the iPhone and I used the one I was using on the iPad but it didn't like as it said the name was taken.
So I set another name up and then thinking I could simply change the required name in DSF game settings to align the game but instead the game fully reset itself and I lost the existing game levels I was on the iPad.
After uninstalling the game on both devices & reloading them a few times, I established that when I turned off Game Center and reinstalled the game on the iPad then I got the game reloaded picking up from where I was initially.
The short of this blurb is that somehow I need to change the Game Center name for the game I'm playing so it links correctly and I'm not sure how to do that.
It's the name in Game Center that's linked to the iPhone new game that is the problem and it's the one I need to correct.
Any advice?

Go to start menu
Type REGEDIT into the search
Select find under the edit tab
Type the exact name you wish to correct
correct every entry by clicking on the entry> and then clicking edit>select modify>then correct only the portion of the name you wish to correct> then click ok> go back to edit and click find next> repeat the process for each entry in the registry until the screen says finished>restart windows and plug in your ipad. ENJOY

Game Center is just simply used for what you are seeing, leaderboards and stats between your friends and yourself.
To launch an app, first download it from the app store, then just tap the icon on the home screen when it is done downloading!!!

I have an issue for months. Every time I purchase an app game for my iphone and ipad I start playing with one but when I switch to the other, I have to re-do all progress again to be in the same point.
I would like to be playing in my iphone and later take my ipad for the same app game and be in the same point where I left playing with my iphone. This is very frustrating and no logical to buy both versions (when available separately) to play a game in the "mac" world.
Any hint how to solve this problem?

The camera does not exist on the original iPad so don't think you can find it. The iTunes icon may be on anther screen. Swipe from screen to screen and look for it.
If you have restrictions enabled on your iPad - Settings>General>Restrictions>On - see if you have iTunes restricted. If it is restricted, the icon disappears. Turn off restrictions.

You should be storing everything on your computer. Just sync it to the iPhone of your choice from your computer.
