Generate PAGING in web pages
Visual Studio allows me to generate "paging" automatically(my large table would normaly be split through different pages of a given amount of rows).
But I cannot manage to make it work with ODP since the whole table is regenerated from the begining in every page.
Would anybody have a solution to that ?

Display problems with allowing web pages to use their own fonts, both on and off.
I refer to the "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above" option in the Content > Advanced tab of the Options menu.
When I have this option unchecked, allowing my font choice to override the default non-image generated text for web pages, it seems that many icons and buttons on numerous sites are replaced by some sort of hex code malfunction. They appear as small boxes with four characters inside. I'm sure someone knows the official term for what these are and why they occur.
When I have the option checked, however, any non-image generated text on numerous websites appears as an ugly Stencil font that I simply cannot find the origin of. It should not be and clearly isn't the default font for all of these different sites. By "non-image generated text", I mean any text that is not incorporated into the design of the page.
This issue has persisted through several full re-installs. Any insight into a solution for one or both sides of this problem would be quite appreciated. Thanks for reading.You would have to remove (uninstall) or reinstall the Georgia font if it is currently corrupted.
You can use the System File Checker to check for missing and corrupted font files.
It needs to be run from an Elevated Command Prompt.
Open a cmd.exe window as Administrator:
Start, click Programs, click Accessories
Right-click Command Prompt, and choose "Run as administrator"
Click past the UAC Screen
After the cmd.exe prompt, type: sfc.exe /scannow and press Enter

How do I display on-the-fly generated XML on a web page using DW CS4 Spry regions?
On a main web page I'm trying to display formatted data from an ASP page that generates XML on-the-fly from a query.
When I run the ASP page from the browser, the XML formatting of the data works. But when I run the main web page, the data doesn't display.
I'm using DW CS4 Spry regionsto display the data on the main page from the XML data generated by the ASP page. Here's the main page code:

This error is generated when there was no web page with the name you specified at the web site.-
Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!
Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists
is the problem with
iweb or with hosting?
One Apple tech started to fix Iweb and had to end session and the next said problem with hosting at Network Solutions as it published
to local folder. NWS has checked sttting a few times-
Any help would be extremely appreciated as trying to fix this for about five weeks

Hello All,
I have an example which use simulated signal with its web service generated by LabVIEW. Then an application of this web service was created using NI web UI builder. And application was build and deployed on NI Cloud Portal, a zip file was downloaded of that project after build and deploying application.
The downloaded file contain a thin client application like :index.html page, readme file etc.
Now problems is this index.html runs easily on http://localhost:8080/appname/index.html or on my computer name like
http://iaa42:8080/appname/index.html web page runs and shows updated values in indicators and graphs but when i use ip address of my system like http://192.168.1.6:8080/appname/index.html , index.html runs but the values in indicator and graphs remains 0 (zero) constantly. how can i get all indicators and graphs updating continously on by using my ip address like same when i use localhost or computer name in url bar. 1st problem is this.
Now 2nd question.
I get a page index.html in a zip file built by NI web UI builder now i want this page to be viewed by every one world wide
where should i upload that code. Should NI Cloud Portal be my hosting server for that web page ? or i have to purchase a domain other than NI cloud portal?

For your first question, my first thoughts turn to your router (which I assume you are using with a 192.168.x.x address). Are you sure you are configuring your ports and firewalls to allow NI services to function? Here is a really good resource on how to check if your ports and firewalls are configured properly:

For your second question, when you deploy a web service you are hosting it on your local machine. If you wanted to host it elsewhere (i.e. another server or another domain) you would have to be sure that the server hosting your application has the LabVIEW run-time engine installed.

I need Dreamweaver CS4 to take this spreadsheet and generate a series of web pages. The head section will be the same for all the generated HTML files. A sample page can be viewed here.
If I can locate a script that will do this then I can take an extension for a Joomla web site and pass along the series of page to it. The Joomla extension will then create my articles for me.

WayneThanks for the thought, but that generates one large page with each row an item on the page. What I need is for DW to take each row and create a page of that row. Even then, in Excel you have to insert rows before my first row of data. Into thos rows you paste the head information doctype, metadata, the closing head, etc., etc. Then you have to add a row at the end closing the body and html statements.
I'll have to try this with something else. For something so simple you'd figure there was a script to do it.

I am not expert in these, but please check out the following things and see whether it would solve your issue. (All these changes can be easily rolled back in case I'm wrong :). So make note of what you do)
As per your httpd.conf, you have chosen an automatic configuration of Apache by OWCI installer itself. What it does is create an imageserver.conf file in a separate directory and these settings will be included in your httpd.conf as you can see in the first line: Include "C:/bea/alui/plumtreeconf/".
If you check the imageserver.conf in that location, you would find a line like: Alias /imageserver/ "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/". This aliases the original path "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/" to /imageserver"
To confirm whether this is done right, check the following:
1. Acces 'http://<server ip / server name / localhost >/' from your browser
This should display the Apache home page (as per your httpd.conf, it uses the default port 80; so no port number required)
2. Access 'http://<server ip>/imageserver/' from your browser
This should display the directory structure (if its not disabled) inside your 'C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/' folder. Also confirm that all the subfolders are accessible.
3. If all the above is right, it means that your imageserver settings are right. Please check your portalconfig.xml for the correct settings: For example, <setting name="HTTPPort"> should be 7001 in your case. If its something else, change it and restart Weblogic for the settings to take effect.

You can put no of dynamic generate pages into one web page.For your case one is chart and another one is grid.
First you generate dynamic page for chart and copy the source code and put in the web page under body tab.Then you generate dynamic page for Grid and copy the source code and paste it in the web page under body tab.

Copying dynamically generated web pages source
There is a problem, that I need to copy dynamicaly generated web pages text (it must work like search crawler). In simple pages it's not difficult, just opening the webpage and copying content to array. something like this

Can sites/pages generated with Adobe muse be published through word press?Muse is static HTML, WordPress is a PHP-based CMS. Neither has anything to do with the other and depending on whether you use a pre-hosted WordPress install it may not even possible to include any static HTML nor modify the WP theme. Otherwise your static muse site would simply be a sub-domain/ sub-section in a separate folder that can be linked from the main WP install, but beyond that they don't interact.

Create PDF From Web Page - Authenticated SharePoint Sites generate "Authorization Failure" error
We have several authenticated sharepoint sites on our intranet, and we are trying to create a PDF of a site (x levels down) using the Acrobat create PDF from web page feature. When you try to create a PDF from a non-sharepoint, authenticated website, a login prompt appears asking for login credentials. However, when you try to use the same feature on an authenticated sharepoint site, you do not get prompted for credentials and instead get an Authorization Failure error. the popup says "Error: Nothing Done". We have successfully PDF'd anonymous sharepoint sites on the WWW. Has anyone successfully PDF'd an authenticated SharePoint site?

When I create a report, I have to decide the layout height/width

What I notice that it is stored as Web Pages *.htm; *.html (Save as Type) in Excel this is the reason it is huge.
If I save as Microsoft Office Excel Workbook *.xls it Reduce the size.
I don't know how to save as ".xls" through XML Publisher using PL/SQL.
Any body knows? please Help..

We're on 10.1.3.4.1 and siebel 8.1.1.3 and when trying to open a report from within siebel in the output format EXCEL (selected from the parameter applet), it just opens the document in the browser.
Is there a way to get it to open directly in Excel? I guess the reason is the file extension*.EXCEL, how could we get the extension to be in excel format (xls)?
We don't want our users to have to do this themself.
