How to generate web page from Excel spread sheet?

I have a spreadsheet containing a long string of HTML text. It can be viewied below and each line needs to be one web page. I also have the same file in a flat text file.

I need Dreamweaver CS4 to take this spreadsheet and generate a series of web pages. The head section will be the same for all the generated HTML files. A sample page can be viewed here.
If I can locate a script that will do this then I can take an extension for a Joomla web site and pass along the series of page to it. The Joomla extension will then create my articles for me.

Thanks for the thought, but that generates one large page with each row an item on the page. What I need is for DW to take each row and create a page of that row. Even then, in Excel you have to insert rows before my first row of data. Into thos rows you paste the head information doctype, metadata, the closing head, etc., etc. Then you have to add a row at the end closing the body and html statements.
I'll have to try this with something else. For something so simple you'd figure there was a script to do it.

the getAppletContext() method of the Applet class will get you an AppletContext, with which you can call the ShowDocument(URL url) or ShowDocument(URL url, String target) method...

The fact that Excel can import a csv file doesn't make it an excel file.
If you have a csv file then you must use a csv driver or just use other code (not jdbc) to access it. There is, normally, a ODBC (nothing to do with java) text driver that can do that.

Hi Rajat,
Starting from BOXI R3.0 version, Rich client is used for accessing WebI reports other than Infoview. i.e. Similar to Desk top intelligence, it can be installed in any local machine and using it we can access WebI reports.
If you don't have Rich client then install it in your pc, then start creating WebI reports from excel using Rich client.
Navigation: Open rich client -> select local source(browse to your doucment i.e excel sheet) -> select required tab in excel(for the report) -> ok

How to generate web services for OAS with wsdl extension

I wanted to know how to generate web services from Oracle Application Server especially with .wsdl extension and with document/literal style.
I know that earlier there was a tool called SmartConnect from BEA WebLogic.
But that will work only with ALSB (Aqua logic Service Bus). I guess that ALSB has been renamed as Oracle Service Bus by Oracle after the acquisition of WebLogic. My question is what is the new name for the SmartConnect Tool from WebLogic, which generates wsdl very easily from Oracle database.
I am unable to know the new name for SmartConnect and how to download that tool from Oracle web site.
Also, I want to know, whether there is any other way to generate the wsdl from Oracle, if so, please let me know.

Figured oout that I had restricted deletions of programs.
Settings->General->Restrictions-> (enter your passcode), Turn Deleting Apps ON
Afterward holding an icon until it jiggles will produce the X delete button.
You might want to turn Delete apps OFF after cleaning up.

Opening a secure web page from oracle forms for credit card validation

Hi All,
I searched for the topic in the forms forum but couldn't find a solution.
Requirement: As per some compliance, our application cannot do a credit card validation from our forms application, instead we need to use a java code which a third party will provide ,it's an iframe (they say, i am layman when it comes to Java, don't know what is it), but they say that, within your forms application you call our iframe do the credit card validation over there get a token of response back from us and use this token as a confirmation in your application.
Problem: I could not find a solution anywhere wherein i can call a web page from forms. Now, this web page should be modal, i.e. unless i close this page i cannot access my forms application. Please guide me if anyone has done that.
Secondly if i could make it work, how will i communicate with this external web page, like getting back some token value and use it back in my forms application. I am completely clueless.
As we are using Oracle designer for generating forms, we cannot use a bean type thing as designer does not have the bean-item type defined!
Appreciate if anyone could provide me pointers for a solution to this problem statement.

The simple way to do it is to use a PJC (java bean) + apache httpclient library..
If you have a webservice than you can use Axis library and wsdl2java to create java classes from wsdl.
also you can use httpclient library to simulate http protocol (request/response actions)..
(for example.. you have a credit card number.. you post this number to specified URL and then you parse the response from credit card validation server)..
Post here some documentation (specification) on how to call the credit card validation .. (maybe it's a secure webservice?)
