Get informations whether changes in Table content before store

Hallo,
in my Web Dynpro Application I have a table. If the User changes something in this table I must get the Information in what row the changes are before I store.
Than I have to set a attribute in this row back.
Is there any possibility to do that. I have try to get the Information with the method "isChangedByClient()".
But I need the information at what row is the change.
Is there any Event?

Hi Erik,
you are missing the data in the shift register!
You should initialize shift registers when you don't need data from previous runs of the VI…
Or get rid of the shift register when you don't need it:

Need suggestion to get data from change log table of ODS.

Hello,
There is a case where i am loading opportunity header data from header ODS and opportunity item data from item ODS in the opportunity cube.
Status (1= OPEN, 2= WON ETC) of the opportunity are available only in header ODS and not in item ODS.
While loading data from header ODS to cube, I am loading it directly but while loading data from item ODS to cube i am using active data table of header ODS as a lookup in the update rule from item ODS to cube. I am selecting status from the active data table of header ODS while loading data from item ODS to cube.
Since active data table will have only after image records, there is some data mismatch in the report as i am selecting data from active data table of header ODS while loading data from item ODS to cube.
I need to select data from Change log in order to get before image also instead of active data table in order to overcome this issue. Is there any way by which i can do selection from Change log instead of active data table as change logs are generated at run time.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hi,
You can use the changelog table of the DSO.
Right click manage the Header DSO, go to the contents tab and click Change Log table. There you can see the technical name of the Change Log table.
In the update rule Routine, give the tech name of Change log table instead of Active table name.

Hi all.
I wanna know which 'include file', 'table', 'function' is used in the program.
Firstly, I prepared user interface for entering the name of program.
Secondarly,
I made the way to confirm whether the program is exising or not by using TADIR.
And I must use CROSS for getting information of function.
But at the same time, I will use 'RS_GET_ALL_INCLUDES', 'RS_GET_TABLE_REFERENCES' for getting information of include file or table.
After that, I have to report by using ALV.
Then, I will use both of string getting from function by using above function and internal table getting from CROSS.
How do I put together in INTERNAL TABLE.

Clear table content before next program run

Hi there,
i've searched a long time and found many promising answers...but none actually helped on my problem:
Please find my example vi attached (LV2012).
After initializing my array with some values und running the program the table is populated accordingly. I stop the vi an the table is cleared. But: if i restart the vi without making any changes, the old content shows again and the array gets appended too. So, is there a way to clear a table definetly after stopping the vi. Including obscure default values?
What i've tried so far without succes:
Setting an empty array at the beginning
Reset to standard values via Invoke Node
Setting an empty array as value via Property Node
So what am i missing?

DYNAMIC CHANGE OF TABLE CONTENTS IN WEBDYNPRO VIEW

I have a requirement to display a table contents, and there are two buttons, When i select some records and clk on a button i need to delete these records in the database table as well as in webdynpro view.
I am able to delete the records in database but the contents of table in view of webdynpro remains unchanged. Can anyone tell me how to delete the contents in the view also??

Hi Naveen,
You need to Refresh the data you are binding to the table to make the latest data
visible on the screen.
On action of the button you are deleting entries from the database. After this
Fetch data again from the database and bind to the node of the table.

whenever we create/change Purchase requisition/Purchase Order,
table COOI(Commitment line items) gets updated with the Purchase requisition/purchase order
item details and table COSP gets updated with the sum values of COOI entries order by primary keys
of the table.For better explanation i am taking fields from tables
COOI (taken few fields for example)

How to delete the Table Contents before inserting records into SQL table ?

Hello Experts,
I have a scenario where in I have to Pick up some records from SAP RFC & insert into SQL table.
i know how to do this scenario but the proble with this is before inserting we first have to ZAP the SQL table & insert a new records. One more twist is The Triggering is happening from SAP side with Sender RFC. If this would have been from SQL Side i could have written a Stored Procedure/ Trigger & could have called this before the SENDER JDBC communciation channel picks up the Triggering event from SQL side.
So how to do this scenarioin XI, First deleting all the Records of SQL table & then inserting the new reocrds. without using the BPM.

Hi Devendra,
MDM can track changes on tables and fields. The level of change tracking, and which tables/fields to track, are configurable in the MDM Console. MDM opens a new database on the same database engine as the MDM repository and writes all change records to this database.

I have a list of ODSs in the system and I am interested in finding the corresponding Change Log Table and the number of records in that table.
Can any one please tell me the name of the system table where this information is stored.

Windows 2008 R2, Internet Information Services: Changing security settings to change a folder's content by using PHP

Hello,
I would like to ask if somebody's there who could help me:
I am a PHP developer from Stuttgart, Germany.
In my PHP web application I want to edit text files by using PHP code.
These files are created once (by me), so they exist before the PHP application is used by any web user.
My PHP code reads out some text files and other text files' contents are changed.
In my developer's environment (Windows XP, XAMPP) it works fine.
So I'm sure my code is OK.
But the productive system ist a windows server system (Windows 2008 R2 and Internet Information Services).
And here it doesn't work! The text files' contents aren't changed.
I know on windows based webserver systems I have to change the folders security settings
(what I mean: the folders where the text files are placed). I must give the IIS system user (in the past it's name was IUSR..., now it is named otherwise) additional rights, so that it can change folders content.
I did. But it doesn't work.
Some years ago when we used Windows Server 2003 that was the solution that worked.
Giving the IUSR right to change folders content. That was it.
But what is new in Windows Server 2008 that it doesn't work?
I think it must be very complicated. Could somebody help me?

If you need to change the snapshot retention window then look in the library for DBMS_WORKLOAD_REPOSITORY and the MODIFY_SNAPSHOT_SETTINGS procedure. You can set snapshot interval and retention.

Transport of total table contents iso only the changes within that table

Dear experts,
Due to some errors i'm now stuck in a situation where in DTAP clients a custom built table is not consistant any more. e.g. In T(est) client some entries exist that are not present in D(evelopment) any more. Modifications of entries in the table will result in a transport only containing the modifications.
I'm looking for a way that I can overwrite (delete and re insert) the whole table in the DTAP clients in stead of only the modifications.

you should be able to create a transport and manually add the table entries.
SE10 and create a transport, and workbench request.
double click to get to the objects screen and go to change mode.
entry program id : R3TR
object : TABU
Object name : your z table name
you will see a key symbol appear on the line, click this,
then double click the empty line to add the key field values of the entries you want to add to the transport. You should be able to find wild card values to select all entries of the table.
on the tool bar is a 'table contents' specified by the key entries which will let you test select the entries from the table.
This transport can then be released and transported.

I was upgrading my OS system thru iTunes but the plug on my macbook came out and battery ran flat half way thru. This jammed my iPhone 4.
I think it's to do with the OS system. That if i take it to the previous OS system it might work. But since i'm in phone set up mode i can't get into general setting to change it back.
So can i set it up as a new phone and then use icloud to restore info? Or shld i set it up thru iTunes and then iCloud (but since it jammed half way thru upgrading and i've restored i don't think iTunes has any of my previous info)? Or is there something else i can do?

No. You can set up as a new device or restore from iCloud or iTunes. It looks like you backed up with iTunes, so you can't restore with iCloud. To backup your device in iCloud, go to Settings > iCloud and activate it
