Get version of ORDS

Dear,
How can I get the version of ORDS in OS or Oracle Database or Application Server?
Best regards,
Saeed.

To get context parameters from your web.xml file in servlet you can simply use:
ServletContext context = getServletContext();
String contextPar = context.getInitParameter("<your context param >");
If you use struts MVC framework:
ServletContext context = getServlet().getServletContext();
String tempContextVar = context.getInitParameter("<your context param >");

    The new but not-ready-for-prime-time autocomplete method searches for matches that contain the entered text, not just ones that begin with the string. Your options are:
    1) type in longer strings that narrow the search
    2) use an add-on to search just the beginnings:

    3) install an older version of TB:

    I found my own error. After loading up sun's reference implementation server in NetBean's debugger I noticed that it was only handling .jnlp files. Going back to the "Packaging JNLP Applications in a Web Archive" document I found my mistake. My web.xml files should have looked like this.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <!DOCTYPE web-app
        PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN"

            <servlet-name>JnlpDownloadServlet</servlet-name>
            <url-pattern>*</url-pattern>
         </servlet-mapping>
      </web-app>The difference being the <url-pattern> tag. It now tells the web server to handle all files not just .jnlp.
    This allowed me to download version based jnlp entries. I still can't get jarDiff things to work, but I will keep banging my head against the wall till I figure that out.

  • IS There A Link To Download An Earlier Version of Reader Cannot Get Version X To Install

    I am running a computer with XP Pro SP3 and cannot get version X to install, I keep getting an error code.  I used to have Version 5, I think it was on the computer and wanted to upgrade it.  I deleated that version and cannot get version 10 to install.  I posted a question about the error codes that I am getting but after reading all of the messages on the board it seems that version 10 has a few problems.  I was wondering if there was still a link somewhere to download one of the earlier versions like version 8 or 9.  All I can find are links that take me to the version 10 download page at Adobe.  Does anyone know of a link to one of the earlier versions?  Thanks for any help.

    the same get version indesign : Re: [Ann] Identify Your InDesign File by Tony722

    You are running jrockit (BEA JRockit(R) R27.6.5-32_o-121899-1.6.0_14-20091001-2113-linux-x86_64), but you have
    some Sun JVM parameters
    -XX:CompileThreshold=8000 -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m
    These are ignored by jrockit, but should not be in your start script.
    Maybe this could be causing the issue
    -agentlib:jprofilerti=port=8849,nowait,id=107,config=/opt/jprofiler5/config/config.xml -Xbootclasspath/a:/opt/jprofiler5/bin/agent.jar
    If you want to profile your environment and you are using jrockit, you can use jrockit mission control:

    Adobe makes a variety of different applications so which one do you mean.  Just about anything that is version 6 is likely to not going to be available anymore but if you can clarify which one you need a more definitive answer can be offered.

  • Get versions data

    Hi,
    We have used lists.asmx and versions.asmx to get version specific data.
    But the performance of this is slow as expected because it makes a call to lists.asmx to get version collection for every property of each record.
    Can we reduce number of calls by using any other approach?
    deploying a custom web service with Server object model is not a possible solution here

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted get the version specific data.
    There is no directly way to get the version specific data for each record.
    To have a best performance, it is recommend to use the SharePoint Server Object Model.
    However, if you could not access the server side, the best choice is use Version Web Service directly.

  • Getting version information on  jar files

    I want to install the Portal Tools Application from PDK. There are some files to be copied to subdirectories of ORA_HOME. Some of the files like jewt4.jar already exists and according to the install guide you have to leave existing files unchanged when they are newer then the PDK files. To get version information you can ,according to the guide, check if the "Jar file contains a file with a version number , e.g., ...." How do I check this? Why is it not enough to check the last modified date of the files in explorer?

    It's not enough to check the last modified date because this can easily be changed, e.g. by using 'touch'.
    To check for these version numbers, in a unix environment do:
    jar -tvf | grep version
    In a windows env, open the jar file up in WinZip and scroll through the members, looking for a likely candidate.

  • Getting version information for Repository Objects

    Is there a way (preferably a BAPI/FM, and if not, then a table) to get version information about a given repository object?

    > SVRS_FIND_VRSD_INFO
    That function module needs version number. It would be useful to me if this was optional. What I needed was the entire history. i.e. All versions.
    The export parameters however, pointed me to the table VRSD, which I think serves my purpose very well (unless there is a standard FM for getting information for all versions).
    Thanks!
