Get X-th member from collection

hi,
I am trying to get the xth member from a collection.
select c00x from collection
I use 2 dimensions in the collection. The first column (C001) are the categories, the other columns contain sums for certain dealers. The number of categories and dealers - so x and y - are unknown.
selecting category x in column C001 is easy, but selecting c002....C00X seems to be more difficult

I ve solved this in a different way. Every y dimension will be a different collection. Since collection name is called through a string, its easy to make it a variable
'CATEGORY'||cat_id
so I always use column c001 in these variable collection names.

Error getting value from collection to a date picker field

Hi all,
I'm stumble with getting correct data value from collection.
The column is described as
'wwv_flow_item.date_popup(3,null, c002, 'dd/mm/yyyy', 10, 10) purchase_date'
This field is causing error: 'report error:
ORA-01843: invalid month'
I'm sure, c002 has correct value '08/08/2003' because I've temporarily changed description of the field to
'htmldb_item.text(3,c002,10) purchase_date' that returned correct value.
What can be wrong? I'm puzzled.

Are you sure that when you used 'htmldb_item.text(3,c002,10) purchase_date' you got 08/08/yyyy and not 0808yyyy. I have seen that message often in Oracle (outside of HTMLDB) and it is normally when one assumes one format when it is actually another, or the leading zero gets dropped (08082005 becomes 8082005, which converts to 80/82/0205).

To remove Audiobooks depending on the type of Audiobook ie a series of mp3 files you will find under music and probably have to deselect the album name to remove it. I don't have any of these as I download from Audible or I use Audiobook Builder to stictch together mp3 files into m4b files. To find these Click on Books you will immediately see a section for books (in reality ebooks). Scroll down past that and you will see Audiobooks where you can select and deselect. Okay so I figured out the solution by reading other discussions. Basically you need to delete on your phone the icloud account and start up a new icloud account with a new email address. This is nice because you can still share apps without getting everyone elses things. The only thing that didn't get worked out was the notes...
On your phone go to settings and then icloud, scroll down and delete the account. Then just make a new icloud under a new email.

Remote Object - not able to get the returned value from java method

I am developing one sample flex aplication that connects to the java code and displays the returned value from the
java method in flex client. Here I am able to invoke the java method but not able to collect the returned value.
lastResult is giving null . I am able to see the sysout messages in server console.
I am using flex 3.2 and blazeds server and java 1.5

You are not able to get the returned value because if you see the Remote object help you will realise you have to use result="resultfn()" and fault = "faultfn()"
In this you define what you wish to do.
More importantly in the remote object you need to define which method you wish to call using the method class like this

r2 is the function where you get the result back from java and can use it to send the alert.

How to get the refreshed data from Input schedule while using evsnd

                 I am using EvSnd function for sending the data from a Input schedule.

Now after successfully sending, how I can see these are also getting refreshed, like in Evdre

Thanks my friend.
But the point is I need to show the updated data for all the cells (for xx, xy,xz). The point is if I use the evsnd then after the data has been sent, those two cells xy & xz will be blank once again. And so if the user will not be able to check what the data they have sent for these member from that sheet.
              They have to get a report which will show the figures.
And we can't even use the evgts in the xy/xz cell as the formula is going to be erased as soon as the user enter the data in that.
so how we can do the sheet similar to evdre ip schedule..where after every data send the cell range shows latest data.

How to get the Node Value from XmlValue result?

You are right, this seemed un-intuitive to me too, but I finally understood how it's done.
The "value" of a node is actually the total amount of text that is not contained in any of the node's child nodes (if any). So a node with child nodes can still have text value.
To get the 'value' of an element node, you must therefore concatenate the values of all children of type "XmlValue::TEXT_NODE", of that node. Try it.
In your example, the <address> node has no child elements, my guess is that BDB XML stores the address string "176 Ganesan street, Janakinagar, alwarthirunagar" inside a child node of <address> node (of type XmlValue::TEXT_NODE) because you wrote the string on a separate line.

Anything you do without submitting to form has to be done on the client side (ususally by JavaScript) using data which has been send already from the server.
With JavaScript you can do quite a bit. You can download tables which don't necessarilly appear on the screen, loading them into JavaScript arrays by dynamically generating javascript. Then you can pick up events like drop-box selection and use these tables to chose what you do next (e.g. preloading other fields, setting drop box content etc.).
Or, you can cause forms to be submitted when actions like a selection happen without the user clicking a button. It's generally a matter of how much data you'd need to transmit.
Another posibility is to use a Java applet, which can generate requests to the server and handle the results as it chooses. That are a number of problems with that but occasionally it's the best solution.
What you can't do is to handle user input inside a JSP. The JSP has come and gone before the user even gets to see your form.

It can only be serviced in the country where it was originally sold.
An iPhone sold in an EU member State can be serviced in any other EU member nation. Malaysia is NOT a member of the EU. It can only be serviced in Malaysia.

Make a simple report :TIME in column, ENTITY in page and COSTCENTER in row.
Then click on COSTCENTER, it opened the "EPM - Member Selector"
The dimension COSTCENTER has a property called ENTITY, so I select "ENTITY", operator is "=", Values is "<CONTEXT>" and the High Values/Dimensions is "ENTITY"
And after this selction I have nothing !
(I insist on that point to be clear : There are 2 different ENTITY, the first is the property of the dimension COSTCENTER and the second is a dimension)

EJB ClassCastException Retrieving from Collection in same AppServer

I am experiencing a weired Problem.
I am passing a Collection of IdNameTO Transfer Object from My EJB Client(JSP) to EJB.
At Server Side EJB is able to get the Object From Collection but when it does a Cast to convert the Object back to IdNameTO I get ClassCastException on IdNameTO.
This problem happend only when Both Client and Server(EJB) are deployed on Same Application Server(WebSphere) i.e. same Virtual Machine. If Both Client and EJB are deployed on separate Servers then I don;t get any Exception.
If I form a collection of IdNameTO in EJB and pass it to EJB Client then even on same Server I don't get any exception.

Moving data's from collection

Hi friends,
I have a APEX form and soon after if i insert via form means, then it will save the details(data's) in the table. But my question is how to move a data from a collection table to a main table. Is there any way of moving the stored data's from the collection to the table.
Once the data is transferred into the table from collection, the transferred data in the collection has to get deleted. Only the data's which is not transferred to the main table should exist in the collection.
Once the data is transferred from the collection to the table means, then that transferred data (i.e) row data should not exist in collection..
Anyways of achieving it friends.

If u pressed Upload button soon after browsing one csv file with a Separator as ,(comma), then the datas from the .csv file will be saved in the collection..
And after that if u pressed the Upload1 button means, then the data from the collection will be saved in my custom table named(excel_upload_table).
What is the problem that im facing here is.
Suppose if i upload the csv file with an column heading for each column(that is the two column ID, NAME) means then i couldnt upload the data from collection to my custom table.
I have two columns in my custom table like

But if i upload the csv file without the column heading for each column(that is the two column ID, NAME) means, then i can upload the data from the collection to the my custom table.
How i can proceed with this task, so that i can upload the csv file with the column heading for each and every column.
