Getter methods not updated
Hi all,
I have a problem that my getter methods of RowImpl class are not updated in the project. I recreated my ViewObject because some fields were added in the DB. I recreated the RomImpl class also and it looks fine.
But I can't call the new getter methods on my RomImpl instance. Just the old ones are available. The I deleted all class files and generated them once again. But nothing changes. I also tried to work with the nice synchronize feature but it didn't work. That's why I decided to recreate my ViewObject from scratch.
Any ideas what else I could do that the RowImpl class is updated? If I comment out the new method call everything compiles fine - but not with this *#%&$ method. I also tried to restart JDeveloper but without any changes.
I am working with JDeveloper 9.0.3.1. I did that several time with 9.0.3 and it worked. So I can't see a reason why it shouldn't work on 9.0.3.1.

It may be that you have old compied class sitting somewhere, e.g., deployed jar/ear/war file, that's taking precendence over your newly generated RowImpl class.
Please check the classpath and Project Library setting.

It might have something to do with Proxies. Have a look in System Preferences>Network, click on your network - either ethernet or wifi - and click on the Proxies tab. Anything selected in there. If so deselect and then try.
Have you tried using another brrowser, maybe Chrome or Firefox? -

Album art added via Itunes 'Get Info' not updating on iPhone 5
Im wanting to use Itunes specifically to add album artwork to my music which is managed manually. With the previous itunes version, it was a case of dragging and dropping a jpeg into the bottom left corner and hey presto! However, now...nothing.
Ive confirmed all manner of things/issues explained after "research" on the net. So far nothing has worked out. Ive confirmed that the artwork is jpeg (even tried png) and also that its not locked under any specific permissions in Windows 7.
To illustrate the annoyance of it, i can use a third party program to add the album art to an mp3 (prior to it being synced onto the iphone) and it will show up perfectly then! Now, you may be wondering 'why not just do that? problem solved'. Not quite. Windows is annoying to say the least especially with album artwork. Its all fine adding the artwork to mp3 files, but it then adds hidden artwork files in the folders themselves.
As i said before, i was able to do it manually with the previous itunes version but now im out of ideas. The 'Get Info' tab then onto 'Artwork' in itunes is where im trying to update the files. I can load them there, they will show on the files under itunes, but not on the iphone. As i manage my music manually ive also attempted to remove all tracks, re-sync and try and add again; nothing.
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Granted this can only be really described as an annoyance, but its annoying nonetheless.

Dragging music files directly from Windows and dropping onto the device? I have no idea how that is even possible, but right there you're deviating from the intended design -- iTunes is meant to be the intermediary.
Are you suggesting that i first update the music in the itunes library and then drag & drop to the iphone? In a way, not manually manage the music?
Yes, that IS what what I'm suggesting, and that is what manually managing means in the iTunes world. It is a media manager for your devices, and if you're bypassing it then its no wonder you're struggling. It sounds like you're coming from a mp3 player perspective, and like it or not, that's not how i-devices work.
I'm sorry to say, but if you try to force things another way it will be a rocky relationship to say the least. -
How does one get past not updating on a 2nd generation iPod touch?

Whatever answer will be given: Use a Limiter when doing a mixdown and exporting. Going over 0db is never a good idea with digital equipment.

When updating the billing documents in VBOF, iam getting error (not updating) due to Maximum no of items in FI reached message. Did you face this kind of issue, what would be the best possible solution? Is there any SAP note for this.

Firstly the program for VBOF determines (depending on its parameters) the amount of billing documents. A new pricing is then carried out for these documents (with a pricing type which simply redetermines rebate conditions, that have not yet been totally calculated).
- If the program produces a different result with regard to the rebate conditions, the rebate conditions are updated.
- If these changes affect accruals, an additional accounting document is created, which is adapted to accruals.
- If errors occur during pricing, the billing document cannot be updated (see error log).
- If the net value of a billing document changes (for example, because a rebate condition has been created retroactively, which should not exclude a non-rebate condition), this also means that the billing document is not updated.
In addition to that:
What problems can occur when updating the billing documents ?
It may be that a document cannot be updated. For example, the following errors may have occurred:
- Pricing error
- Billing document blocked
- Net value of the billing document has changed
- Error in accounting transfer
- etc.
In this case the error situation must first of all be rectified (e.g. correct settings) and then the update can be carried out again.

Method not found :set_ToggleSidePanel(SidePanelKind) error
I developed an wpf application in vs2010. I am generating the reports using crystal report wpf viewer. Its working fine on the system it is developed but on target machine its giving following error:
method not found: void SAPBusinessObjects.WPF.Viewer.viewercore.set_ToggleSidePanel(SidePanelKind)
I am using redistributable installation file for crystal report deployment.I am having the same issue. My Visual Sutdio environment is 10.0.40219.1 SP1. I have run the CRRuntime_32bit_13_0.msi on the clients machine. When I run the reports on my development machine I do not have an issue. When the clients run the reports on their machine the get : Method not found: 'Void
SAPBusinessObjects.WPF.Viewer.CrystalReportsViewer.set_ToggleSidePanel(SidePanelKind)'.
What we are trying to do is set the ToggleSidePanel to none. Can someone help me with this? -
Setup resource template - getting 405 method not allowed
I'm attempting to migrate an app that ran under the old mod_plsql and 10g. Looking at 11g we've been testing out the apex listener on glassfish. However, we have methods that run from a client that uses post methods to send files (XML) to an oracle Pl/Sql procedure. The procedure grabs the blob out of a table that was configured in the mod_plsql for that location. Ideally - we'd use a web service, but don't have time to migrate everything yet. In order to get it running, we looked at the example of creating a resource template to handle these methods. We've got some Pl/Sql code to insert this into the original table and call the method. However - it's not working. The client is getting a 405 method not allowed error. That's it. There's a few lines in the server.log for the version and the driver - but no error messages. How does one debug this? What is generating the 405 error? Glassfish? If so, what logs tell you what the issue is? If it's apex listener, is there logs that can tell me where to find what the issue is calling the resource? Right now - considering installing the http server for oracle on this and just not using apex listener until we can migrate the code. It might be an easier migration to our new server. I'm hoping it's something simple...
There a number of standard verbs defined in HTTP:
GET- Retrieve a resource
POST- Submit new resource
PUT - update resource
DELETE - delete resource
When you enter a URL in a web browser it always uses the GET method, the method to retrieve the resource.
In your example Firefox is attempting to a do a GET on https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/orange/TestPOST
but you have not defined a GET handler for this resource, only a POST handler. ORDS then tells you that the GET method is not supported on the resource, which is the correct behaviour.
If you want to test the POST method from within a browser then you need to use JavaScript and perform an XMLHttpRequest and configure it to use the 'POST' method, for an example see the ORDS Developer guide:

The method setUpConnectionToDB can take 1 - 10 mins to complete. By this time a user will prob have quit my app thinking
it's crashed because it doesn't update the GUI with a progress status. :(
What is the best way to get this method to update the GUI of the app which calls it?

Record does not get locked on update in a transaction

Lets say I have a session bean method with "Required" Transaction as follows:

entityBean1.setFieldB("something"); //record1

Now, suppose one client thread "A" is executing this method and updating "record1"
and the Tx is still happening...
Lets suppose another client thread "B" simultaneously calls the same method to update
the same record "record1"...
what will happen now...since A is already in a Tx updating record1, what happens
to B...
shouldn't there be a lock on the record which A is updating till the Tx gets commited
, and only then B should be able to update that record...?
Is my understanding correct ??
I did a test with weblogic and this does not seem to be happening..
whatz missing guys ...or am i barking up the wrong tree ?

I have version 5.7 and every time I opened it I was told that updates are available and to click on the icon to access these. Instead it just took me to the
adobe page with nowhere visible to update. I then sought to download lightroom cc and this is when I could not access the 'develop' section due to reduced
functionality It was apparent that my photos had been put in cc but no way to access them unless I wanted to subscribe.
I have since remedied the problem as my original lightroom 5.7 icon is still available on the desktop and have gone back to that. I do feel that this is a bit
of a rip off and an unnecessary waste of my time though.

I bought a CS3 creative suite on a student license in 2008. The original MAC laptop has died and I am trying to install it on a MAC desktop. the programs installs successfully but never ask for a serial number. the programs will open but I can not open any files, I get a Adobe Updater quite unexpectedly message. Is this because the serial number has not been entered? I have tried chat about this problem twice, also use Adobe connect and was not helped. How do I enter this serial number?
activate is grayed out. Registration is available and when I select it, it says "A problem was encountered while trying to send the information over the internet" So I select "submit again" and nothing happens. Then the program closes and I get the added updater quite message.

i have been having an issue with updating my ipod touch for some time now and i can not seem to get it to update to the lastest update. it is stuck on 4.2.1 software and i can not update it to 4.3 or any other ios software update. can you please help me to solve this issue.
It sounds like you actually have a 2G iPod Touch which can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. If it's an 8 GB iPod Touch it's definitely a 2G iPod Touch as there was never such a thing as a 3G 8 GB iPod Touch. See this article to help verify what generation iPod Touch you have.
