Getting a mighty mouse need help

Hey everyone I'm getting a mighty mouse and I read something about needing a software cd to set it up . It doesn't come with a cd . I have 10.3.9 would it work (ie without any of the special features ) like a regular mouse only in bluetooth ? I ask because I also have a Microsoft wireless (usb not bluetooth ) mouse an if you don't install the software you can still use it as a 2 button mouse with scroll but the side buttons wont be recognized.
Just wandering if the mighty mouse would be the same .

Cannot get bluetooth mighty mouse to work with win xp sp3 bootcamp ver 2.1

I have tried the most popular solution of establishing the mouse as a device, highlighting it in the devices menu, then clicking properties, then services, and once it is done searching checking the box for the "drivers for keyboard, mice, etc [HID]and clicking apply. get the message with the header bluetooth error access denied. this happened recently when I updated bootcamp before mouse worked flawlessly for month on xp. If anybody has any solutions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Forgot to mention mighty mouse works fine in the mac os partition

Try this solution. First click on the bluetooth icon at the bottom of the windows screen. Then click show bluetooth devices, then click add new devices and when the new device shows up double click on the device. Then a windows shows up at the top of this window it says general and other. Chose other. Another window shows up and check the small box. This small box searches for windows drivers just for this bluetooth device. When done it should pair and work fine.

Getting an ipod but need help

so i will travel to another state and i will be with my aunt that doesnt have a computer and of course no internet. so i wanted to know if there is any place where i can tranfer music to it. like an apple store? please i need help

It would probably be best to find a family friend who can give you some time on their computer but here's some additional advice. By default the iPod is set to "automatically manage songs and playlists", and it links to a specific computer to update. To use it on multiple computers you need to change the update method to to "manually manage songs and playlists":

Bluetooth (Mighty) Mouse needs to be repaired at each startup

...it takes a couple of mins each time, and it's frustrating.
Initially I get the message 'mouse not found' then the bluetooth 'attempting to pair' dialogue, which works for a minutes or so, slowly pairing.
Happens, without fail at each start up.
I have visited system prefs > Bluetooth and checked that it is paired, it is.
I have deleted the two items I found in System Prefs>User Accounts>Login Items (Itunes something and Adobe something).
Any other suggestions? Or do I have to live with this?
BTW has only happened since Snow Leopard install.

I should have said 'Paired at each start up', 'repaired' is obv misleading.

One of oue email account is not working ...getting overload message? Need help to correct.

Trying to inistall itunes keep getting error code 2330 need help unistalling and reinstalling

Im trying to install itunes but keep getting an error message. (The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package, this may indicate a problem with this package. Error code 2330
I need some resolution please assist. I did call microsft but they want to charge just to get help. I need assistance please.

Although it's a better bet with a 2330 than a 2349, I'd try running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Getting started with C# need help to know what I need to learn

Good evening everybody, first time posting in this forum, so be gentle with my lack of knowledge about C#.
A bit about me first, I'm a electronics student, with a strong C/C++ knowledge but geared toward micro-controllers(namely AVR's, PSoC and ARM Cortex-M3), now I want to make some nice GUI's for some electronic widgets and my main OS is Windows and
C# seems to fit the bill for what I need to do, that is basic GUI's, serial com's and some graphing features do display simples x/y graphs.
So, I'm in the process of designing a two stroke ignition system and I want to make a easy to use interface to re-program and visualize the ignition curve and some other parameters, so a simples program I think.
My main idea/design is more or like the program made by the Ignitech company, I will post some example images so I can explain my self better.
The first picture shows the principal window for me, its a simple graph that is driven by the two tables that are over th graph, I would prefer to have a dynamic table(for example show only 8 positions or 10 ou 12, driven by another input box), and then
the graph, and a couple tabs, in part so I can configure multi-curve ignitions, and to have a couple different "main" tabs, main configuration, the advance designer tab and a monitor tab(shown in the second picture).
What I'm seeking is what functions/methods should I study and use to achieve this?
I think I should say that I'm not copying anything from Ignitech, much less trying to make a "pirate" version of their software(its a free direct download from their site), its just a personal project.

Getting error in Itunes need help been trying all day!

I'm getting error when I connect my ipod to computer and bring up iTunes error states
An Ipod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect iPod, then try again.
if the problem persists, uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 4 times... made sure my software for computer was up to date... switched usb iPod cords.. restarted computer followed a forum with same error happening to someone else.. i'm getting no where was working great yesterday purchased some new songs and now wont work any help would be great I have no idea what im doing!!

I had the same problem and found a different response elsewhere in help that worked for me. On Jan 29, 2014 at 3:37 PM "ifyoucouldpleasehelpme" asked this questions and got the following answer, which I tried and it solved the problem for me.
You need to remove a number of Apple programs, not just iTunes and then when you install ITunes again it will install all the up to date software you need.
a) Remove the following program in the following order:
ITunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
5Apple Applications Support (I actually had 2 versions of this a 32 bit and a 64 bit - so I removed them both)
b) Then restart your computer (I have Windows 8 on a Dell)
c) Then install the latest version of iTunes (it installs all 5 of the programs above)
d) Restart you computer.
I hope it works for you as well as it did for me.

Can't get WET200 to work -- need help

Here's what I've tried so far:
1. I set my Windows XP laptop's Local Area Connection TCP/IP to use IP address 192.168.1.220 (which is outside my router's dynamic range), subnet mask 255.255.255.0, and default gateway of 192.168.1.226. This allowed me to connect the WET200 to my laptop's ethernet port and get to the WET200's admin page by going to 192.168.1.226.
2. I left the WET200's basic settings alone, except I changed the gateway to 192.168.1.1 (my router's IP address) and clicked Save. Btw, my router is the Actiontec MI424WR that they give you for Verizon FIOS.
3. I clicked on the Site Survey, selected my network, entered my router's WEP passphrase, generated the keys, and saved the settings.
4. I unplugged the Ethernet cable from my laptop, then unplugged the router's power cord, waited 30 seconds, and plugged it back in.
5. I set my Windows XP laptop's Local Area Connection TCP/IP setting back to "Obtain an IP address automatically"
6. I then plugged the Ethernet cable back into my laptop.
At this point, I was expecting my laptop's Local Area Connection to obtain an IP address and be able to connect to the Internet, but it times out and cannot get an IP address, which means I can't connect to the internet.
What did I do wrong, or what else do I need to do to get this working?
Keep in mind I'm a home user, not an IT admin, so please don't assume I have any networking knowledge when you reply.

Why liquid cooling? You want more noise and more power consumption and higher expenditures, without lower temps?
Corsair Hydro coolers do not give better cooling performance than air coolers from Cooler Master or Noctua, nor do they run quieter. They are only more expensive. Don't forget that air coolers in push-pull configuration have two fans, that are replaced by two fans on the radiator when using a Corsair Hydro. Unfortunately, the Corsair fans are pretty noisy, thereby defeating the intention of water cooling to make things more silent. Effectively, one replaces two fans with an average noise level of 25 dB with two radiator fans with 35 dB. If the cooling performance was better, that extra noise might be overlooked, but that is not the case. Up to around 4.8 GHz overclock, the performance difference between air coolers and Corsair Hydro is negligent. So, if you opt for Corsair Hydro coolers, you don't get better cooling, you do get more noise, more power consumption (because of the waterpump) and you spend a lot more.

Cant get album artwork! Need help!

So I just bought Senses Fail's new album Life Is Not a Waiting Room and I tried to get the album artwork and it says it could not be found and it's spelt the exact same way as it is on iTunes... Also I just downloaded the new iTunes and I did not have any troubles with any other artwork until I uploaded this cd... So please help me!

For whatever reason, the iTS store database has it listed differently than your tags.
Sometimes just adding a blank space after the Album Name or Artist will make iTunes fetch the artwork.
When Led Zeppelin's Mothership was first released, Apple had it filed under Artist = Lead Zeppelin. It's fixed now, but folks couldn't get the artwork until it was, unless they misspelled their own tags.

Getting rid of videos - need help please!

I just added 2.1 GB of video into my videos library and now iTunes takes freezes every time it starts. The reason (I assume) is because I have an iBook G3 (500 Mhz). I need a way to delete the videos from iTunes without deleting them from my hard drive, but as I have backups, I guess this isn't as important. I was thinking maybe there is an XML file I can modify or something. Thanks in advance for the help!

Few ways to approach this, quick and easy way
Go into you iTunes Library via Finder
USER(you)->MUSIC->ITUNES->ITUNESMUSIC
Then sort by date modified (or date created) recent down and you should be able to see the new videos quickly, drag them out of there to another part of your Hard drive.
Open iTunes and see if it works.
If not delete the prefs and the library xml (assuming all of this on your hard drive, all music etc.?), then relaunch and add back the items to your library

Getting length of int[] - need help

hi i am making a paint program and one of the things i want it to do it to be able to draw a polygon from an int array of x points and y points.
these arrays work fine but the constructor for a polygon needs the number of corners aswell and since the user decides this i cannot use a constant.
the way i thought id do it is to get the number of points in one of the arrays but there doesnt seem to be a method for doing it!
does anyone know how i can get the length of an int array? (not the capacity but the number of elements in it)

There's no difference between capacity and number of elements in an array.int[] arr = new int[10];That array has ten elements. They all have a value. At the moment of creation the value will be 0/false/null as appropriate for the type of the elements.
If you want to know which elements have been explicitly set, you'll have to either keep a separate counter or bitmask, or initialize them all to some invalid value such as null or -1, if such value exists.

Getting error #1009 desperately need help

Ive created a search engine in flex no to elaborate and it
works to a certain extent. the timeline is i input a word and hit
the search button it sends the word to a php script that looks in
the database for entries in a table that match then returns the
values of the rows to the php file and spits out an xml file. The
xml is then parsed by the search engine and the nodes are put into
an array collection whos data is then used by my itemRenderer to
populate a list component.
Now the problem i have is that if i input a search word that
i know has more than one entry in the database all the code works
the search works and it populates the list properly. However if i
input a word that has only 1 or no entry it get the error #1009 and
i cant figure out why. i kind of understand if the arrayCollection
has nothing in it since its a null object but when i know theres an
entry it makes no sense why its spitting that error out.. heres my
mxml code for the search engine..Thank you in advance to any who
can help me..

Would you be able to elaborate on how to go about it..ive
tried putting it into and xmllistcollection and a couple of other
ways but i still get either the same result or i get another error
because of a failed coercion i believe..thanks for the help so far
any other help would be appreciated..
