Getting a stack trace after a crash using a command ant build

I am trying to do some maintenance on a large project (about 300 files) that cannot be built using an IDE like eclipse or netBeans (the build instructions are in a build.xml file and is built using ant) and after installing the MacOSX 10.5.7 update yesterday the application crashes every time one of my SwingUI elements come up. I don't know of any way for me to get the stack trace so I can try and figure out what's going on. I did test the application on a non intel based mac and it does not crash when the dialogs come up so I think the bug is specific to the update. Can anyone tell me an easy way to get this stack trace? Thanks.

Even if you don't do that, when it crashes, there should be a stack trace. Unless the problem is in the JVM itself--improper .so file, for example.

The ODBC datasource must be configured as a System datasource. The database was configured as a User datasource so it was only visible on the local computer. That's why Business Views Manager could access the database.

Is it possible to get the stack trace of procedure invocations in pld file?

For example, if I have a package AAA in a pld file which has three procedure proc1, proc2, and proc3 defined. proc 3 will be invoked somewhere in proc2. proc2 will be invoked somewhere in proc1.
Is it possible to print such stack trace in proc1? It will be very helpful if it is possible.

How can i get my bookmarks back, after mozilla crashed and got stuck in safe mode?

I was using mozilla as usual when suddenly it crashed and then my computer turned off. i restarted it and said it had gone into safe mode. i tried to restart the computer again but it was stuck on safe mode.
The bad part is that all my bookmarks are gone and apparently there is no way of getting them back.

Did you check your hard drive with the chkdsk.exe utility?

Re-install of iTunes after PC crash using additional Authorised User

The hard disk on my PC crashed which had XP x64 OS. The system was reformatted with XP Pro installed given previous issues with the other OS. When I re-installed iTunes and my backup music files, I am not permitted to authorise the PC saying that all 5 authorisations are used.
My family use the other 4 authorisations, but this computer had the 5th. Why after the re-install am I being requested for an additional authorisation. Can't it remember that this PC was previously authorised??

Hard drive crashes and new installations use up authorisations, crashes you can't do anything about but it's worth bearing in mind before you do reinstall your OS. However If you reached the limit of 5 authorisations, you have the option to de-authorise all computers once a year and start with a fresh set up for the computers that you've got:

Get playlist off nano after computer crash

My operating system crashed had to be replaced. I had backups of the music ona hard drive, but not playlists. Can I get the playlists off the nano and onto itunes? If I have an old set of playists on another computer - would that be useful?

NO! Don't unclick "manually manage your music". If you do that, it will erase everything on your iPod. It will put you back to "automatic sync". So whatever is in your itunes library will sync your iPod to that. (If there is one song in library, your iPod will erase all music and only sync that one song.)
This is the hard way and long way of getting your music but effective way. Go to your My Computer and click open your Nano. You will see various folders and one should say something like playlist, music, or something similar. Open that folder. Next you will find folders that say f01, f02, etc. That is where your music is. Open them up and drag and drop them to your itunes library folder or create a folder to put them in (if that would make you feel safer doing this). This will copy your music from your nano to your computer.

Thanks in advance for any/all help. My PC got infected, then crashed and I was unable to backup libraries in advance. So, is there a way that I can recover by copying the files on my iPod (20Gb) back to my machine that has a new, clean version of iTunes?

How do you get a serial number after computer crash rebuild for CS5.5 Design Premium?

I do not have access to the old email service where the original email was sent with the serial number first issued. I need to get it again so I can finish the rebuild on the computer. Can someone please help?

InDesign crashes using place command

I'm running CS3 5.0.2 on a G4 Mac using Leopard and every time it try to place something from Photoshop or Illustrator it crashes. I've been using it a couple months without a problem and now the crashes.
I would like to run some utilities on my system but I've always used Norton and they no longer support Mac. I also use Disk Warrior but haven't checked their compatibility with Leopard. I don't know if that would fix the problem but just for future use does anyone have any suggestions on good maintenance software.

I don't know what they mean, but maybe someone else does.
Also doing the command-option-control-shift / click the InD icon in the dock to fix prefs eases the situation for a while, but i lose some settings that way that i have to reset.
I consider it a good night when CS3 apps crash fewer times than the number of jobs i work.

After upgrading XCode6.1 xcode command line build failed

After upgrading Mac OS to Yosemite and Xcode to 6.1, command line xcodebuild failed with following error:

Finally I am able to resolve this issue.
Below API is the main cause of the problem, this API throws "***createStorageTaskManagerForPath:withIdentifier failed:" error on first time execution but hangs on second time execution.This issue is only found via command line execution, if unit tests are executed from direct Xcode then no issues:
[[NSURLCache sharedURLCache] currentDiskUsage]
After commenting above API, everything works fine for me.

How to get stack trace of an exception

I want to get whole stack trace and show it in a new Frame instead of showing on command line.
when I say,
e.getMessage();
it gives just first line, not rest of the part.
Can anybody help me with that?

Get stack trace into a string with CLDC

I want to get the stack trace of an application into a string, so that I may print the stack trace elsewhere.
CLDC api does not have a printStackTrace(PrintWriter pw) or printStackTrace(PrintStream ps) which is present in j2se.
Could you please suggest another way in CLDC to obtain the stack trace into a string.

Set System.err to your designated PrintStream and then call Throwable.printStackTrace().
This will do what you desire.
