Sorry...
Check whether you have given the path correctly..
Importantly check whether you have placed AspriseOCR.dll, DevIL.dll and ILU.dll in the following path,
C:\WINDOWS\system32 -- if you are using windows XP.
I think this is your error....try and tell

How can I convert an Excel (2008) document to Numbers.  When I drag the Excel document onto the Numbers icon I get, "Import error.  The file format is invalid.

That extension identifies the most current Excel file format, a format that can be opened by Numbers '09 (and by Numbers '08).
A check with Numbers '09 shows it capable of opening .xlsx files when right-clicked (and Numbers chose as the application to open, when double-clicked (if Numbers has been set as the default application to open this type of file, or when dragged to the Numbers icon in the dock.
I see two possibilities for Numbers inability to open it and the message you receive:
    1. The file is not actually an Excel file, and the sender has added the .xlsx extension to the filename manually.
    2. The file is an Excel file, but has somehow been corrupted.
Have you tried opening the file with a different application? The open source Office suites, OpenOffice.org, LibreOffice and NeoOffice can also open .xlsx files. If they're unable to open this one, that would point toward the file itself being faulty. You can download these applications from their rspective websites, linked in the names above. All request a donation to support future development, but only Neo requires one to have been made recently, and that only for the current release (which won't be necessary to open .xlsx files).

From where are you downloading these Premiere Elements 9 installation files....Adobe direct or from another web site?
Please start again. If you did not already, turn off the antivirus and firewall(s) before starting with File 1 and then File 2.
File 1 should be the Adobe Application Manager or its counterpart (.exe file), and File 2 should be the program (.7z file).
If you have not tried it already, consider the following link from which to obtain your installation files for 9.
    http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-9-premiere-elements-9-direct-download-links.h tml
These are tryout files into which you insert your purchased serial number during installation in order to make the files your copy.
Please remember - after the install of Premiere Elements 9, download and install the 9.0.1 Update

  • HT201272 I keep getting an error saying the file is corrupted when I try to download a purchase

I am trying to download a song I purchased from the iTunes store and I keep getting an error stating the file is likely corrupted and to try again. I have the latest iTunes version on my Windows7 machine. Any help would be great.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Right-click the track in the library, and choose Show in Windows Explorer.
If you were hoping to get the file path displayed in a column, as is possible in Windows Media Player, note that iTunes does not have that ability.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

This means that you have downloadd the file from the internet, and the file did not download completely so the computer can't play it. To fix this, just re-download the file and make sure it finishes.

I needed to upgrade my iTunes to register and sync a iPhone 5c.  I upgraded by Apple Software and finally was able to download the upgraded iTunes.  When I try to start iTunes I get this message, "The file iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.  How can I repair this?

If you still have an issue you may have to see about using the iTunes version (application) included with Snow Leopard 10.6 from the installer or an another one if available online, and see if that will install.
Sometimes you may have uninstall the bits left in your system by the earlier (or later) iTunes installers; as they all leave a trace and these can stop a different version of iTunes from being installed.
Not sure if the following site/link will tell the method...

I had a prompt to update the software, when this was updated i tunes would not open coming up with a 404 error message.  So I uninstalled it, reinstalled the 64 bit version for windows, now it wont open with the mentioned error message.

zepel has it, but perhaps some more detail will help.
    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

  • I own a website and my customers download zipped files. Until yesterday everything worked great. All of the sudden they are getting a message that the file is invalid or corrupt. This does not happen in Chrome.

I own a website selling digital files. My customers receive an email after they place their order with a download link. Up until yesterday (for the past 3 years to be exact) everything worked smoothly. I have not changed one thing on my site or cpanel. Now customers get an error that the file is invalid or corrupt when they try and download with firefox. The links work fine with chrome. Please tell me there is a solution. This is causing major trouble!!!

You can get a "Corrupted Content Error" error if there are multiple location redirects send via the HTTP response headers.
