on starting up i get this message TypeError: Components.classes['@softage.ru/skype/SkypeFfExtension;1'] is undefined
i have also got other warnings from adobe issue 10 when i try to view anything

This issue can be caused by the Skype extension (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Removing the Skype extension/add-on and restarting FF solves the problem.

After the latest update for firefox, now when I start firefox up I keep getting a pop up window that is a Java Script Application that says TypeError:Components.classes['@softage.ru/skype/skypeFfExtension;1']is undefined.

After closing this Firefox seems to work fine but this happens everytime on startup. How can I get rid of this pop up window starting everytime? Can I re-install firefox? Would I lose my bookmarks etc?

Once I disabled my Ask.com toolbar (that was installed when I installed FoxIt), the error went away.

I keep getting this message when trying to open Firefox. I've seemed to fix it somewhat because now firefox's adress bar isn't all messed up and what not. (It wouldn't search by clicking enter and looked awful.) What can I do so that I don't have that message when opening firefox?

Issue caused by Skype addon by Firefox. Which version of Skype are you using? Make sure its latest one?

I have the T520i ThinkPad. Whenever I try to navigate to a web site, I receive the following error message: "TypeError: Components.classes[TvtPwmComponent_CID] is undefined". When I click 'OK' it takes me to the web site I requested. I was told it has something to do with the Password Manager and it only happens when I use Firefox 6.0. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

After upgrading to firefox 6, I get this error.
When I click to open Firefox, A box open with the following error:
JAVASCRIPT Application
TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined?
After I click close on the box, then Firefox will start. I really just want to get the error fixed so that when I want firefox open, I don't have to see this box anymore.

You need to figure out which add-on is causing that error and disable it until the developer of that add-on fixes it. There may be an error message about that in the Error Console, accessed through the Web Developer menu item or through {Ctrl + Shft + J}.

This is caused by an extension. Possibly AVG or "eSnips Download Helper".

When I click "ok" the pop up window clears and FireFox opens. I believe this error is also preventing Privacy Protect from activating in FireFox.
