Getting Error with date parameter field -"Invalid DATE"

Hi
I created a report with 9.2 version. And i created 2 date parameter fields in it. And within crystal reports it works fine.
But If, I call from the VS2005 crystalreport.net(report document) SDK , i am getting error as Invalid Date" enter a Date Value". Actually it is a dtp control. how can i modify it.

There's not enough details to get a good understanding of your scenario, but it sounds like you're using some kind of date control to retrieve the date value and pass it to the report's parameter field at runtime. If this is correct, it sounds like the format of the date value from the control may not be what the report is expecting. To debug, I would first use hardcoded values when you set the report parameter fields to see what works. Then compare that to what the return value is from the control to see if they match. I suspect the formats differ. I did a quick search on the BOBJ kbase and found a couple of articles that may help you. How can i change my Parameter Field Type "Date" so it requests the date as dd-mm-yyyy and not yyyy-mm-dd

You can still accept the date as it is, but you can convert the date in the report level with the folowing formulas when you pass the date to data base.
DayFormula: ToText(Day(Date(yyyy-mm-dd)),0) output you get day eg: DD
MonthFormula: ToText(Month(Date(yyyy-mm-dd)),0) output you get eg: MM
Year Formula: ToText(Year(Date(yyyy-mm-dd)),0) output you get eg: YYYY
DashFormula: "-"
Now combine all
CompleteDateFrmula= DateValue(& & & & {Year Formula})
You can pass this

Getting error "enter valid parameter"

Hi,
I am getting error "enter valid parameter" in R/3 while trying to process inbound messages thru XI. I have assigned partner type as "KU" and store number as partner number in mapping. sxmb_moni shows that messages have been successfully sent to R/3 system.
But in R/3, transaction WPER shows above error and partner type as "LS" in control recod of idoc.
please help me in understanding how inbound idoc in R/3 is showing "LS" as partner type and picking the corresponding logical partner profile, instead of customer type partner profile.
Since in retail, store number is customer number , inbound sales data should be posted against this customer.

just check when you send IDOC data from XI, then you are mapping the partner type field to which data.....map it to constant KU.............then on SAP R/3 in we20, add the IDOC in inbound parameter for KU partner and give processing code for it.

For running SharePoint Designer 2013, you need to install Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework or higher.
Please uninstall the Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework, and install it again. After that, reboot your machine.

Import of credit card data(tcode PRCC) getting error with currency

Hi Everyone,
Here is one query regarding Credit Card Clearing in Travel Management.
We were initially using KR files for uploading SAP specific credit card Transactional data to employee buffer and it contained data for only US employees with currency as US. Now we are migrating to use GL1025 files with employees from multiple countries and multiple currency. But the Service Provider (American Express) is sending transactional details with billed currency as USD for all employees(even for employees from other country). On processing the file in PRCC we are getting the below error for non US employees.
Do we have any configurations or something that needs to be maintained inorder to allow this?

Hi All,
For my above requirement, I made two configuration changes and the transaction details are getting loaded with out any error.
1) Changed the 'Settlement of foreign currency receipts" to 'hard currency' for the trip provision variant in global settings under control parameters for Travel expenses.
2) Maintained hard currency as USD for the other country(non US) in country settings. non US employee receipts got loaded in buffer in currency USD as required.
With this configuration change, even the posting document for all foreign currency receipts including AMEX receipts were created in USD.But our requirement was to make payment for all AMEX receipts in USD and other foreign currency receipts in the employee local currency.
So we just tried with the third option for configuration 1. Changed the 'Settlement of foreign currency receipts" to 'choose Between Trip currency and Hard currency per receipt'.
Now with this, foriegn currency receipts of the employee posting document getting created in employee local currency and AMEX receipts in USD. But we are confused how the currency for posting document is being selected with this option 3. Could anyone help us please??

Issue with Custom data parameter in Excel Data Connection

We are querying a OLAP (SSAS 2008) cube using Excel 2007 by creating a data connection to SSAS server with an extended parameter “Custom Data”. We are using custom data parameter to apply our application’s user security to filter dimension
members in Excel’s pivot table report. We have created a pivot table in Excel and the excel is including this custom data parameter along with each request that excel is submitting to SSAS.
However, when the user selects “Show Properties in Report” option for a dimension which is selected in Row-axis of pivot table, Excel is not including custom data parameter . Why this “Custom Data” parameter is not being included in
the request only for this specific case?

As the Custom Data parameter is missing in 1st request our application logic is throwing a custom exception to Excel and Excel is not able to understand the exception message. Excel is sending the same request repeatedly (going into infinite loop) and the excel
window is freezed. Not able to work with excel until restarting the Excel.
Can anyone help me to resolve the above? quick help is much appriciated!

Formatting a Date Parameter Field

I created a Date/Time Parameter because the column is date/time. However, I only want the used to have to input the date portion. I know I can create the parameter as a Date but it returns a negative records even though there are records that meets the criteria. I know I have done this before, but for the life of me I cannot remember how I did it.
Can someone refresh my memory.

I found a way to get round this, here goes.
Create a new Parameter
Change Type to Date Time
Select Expert
Select your date time field and set it equal to parameter
In the parameter fields right click on parameter and select edit.
Change the type from Date Time to Date
Select any range values etc at this point because they will reset when you change from date time to date.

Getting error code 150:30 after transferring data from iMac to iMac

I have just gotten a new iMac and have migrated my data from my old one to my new one. When I open After Effects CS4, I get error code 150:30, a licensing problem. I'm sure it has something to do with duplicate copies of the program. How can I fix this?

Expdp error with query parameter

i am trying to use datapump and using query parameter in there as below...

Seems little weird but can you:--
1. Drop the dpdump directory.
SQL> drop directory dpdump;
2. recreate it and then grant the permissions.
SQL> create directory dpdump as '/backup/dpdump/orcl';
The folders must exists in the location.
SQL> grant read,write on directory dpdump to system;

Locks getting created with lock owner field ##

We are using ECC 6.0 system. We are facing a typical pronblem. Locks are getting created with ## in the user name field. Because of which updates are not happening. I solved this problenm by applying note 857439 but the problem again occurs after some days (That is locks getting created with ## in user name field)

Did you check to see if the KB Hunter posted resolves the issue?
If you're opening a project in a newer version of LabVIEW, then there's a chance the mass compile tool might work. It will open and save all of the VIs within a specified folder. The tool is fairly self-explanatory, and you can access it from within LabVIEW by going to "Tools --> Advanced --> Mass Compile..."
