Getting errors while running cryptotools utility while creating iBOTS.

The system cannot find the path specified.

Basically i am not able to get the point numbr 6 in this blog i.e where do i make the schedulere port entry : -
Open your instanceconfig.xml and add in the scheduler details. This step basically lets the presentation server know about the machine and port details of the scheduler. By default the scheduler port is 9705.
Please help me to add the scheduler port in the instanceconfig.xml .

Rohit,
The fix to this is fairly straightforward.
You have input an incorrect path for the -infile parameter when calling cryptotools.
You entered , -infile OracleBIData_HOME/web/config/credentialstore.xml
when it should be, -infile C:\OracleBI\web\config\credentialstore.xml , depending on the absolute physical path to the credentialstore.xml file.
It looks like you were attempting to use either a Nix (unix/linux) path with the forward slashes or you where trying to use a environment variable for "OracleBIData_Home". I can see from the c:\ that you are on a Windows machine so the Nix path won't work. Also if you are attempting to use an environment variable that you have confirmed is indeed set, then you need to use %OracleBIData_HOME% in the command prompt which would look like %OracleBIData_HOME%\web\config\credentialstore.xml
So to answer your question your command should appear as below if I have accessed your path to the OracleBIData home correctly, you may need to change it based on your installation,
C:\OracleBI\web\bin>cryptotools credstore -add -infile C:\OracleBIData\web\config\credentialstore.xml
Just be mindful of your paths and your backslashes vs. forward slashes.

Hi Monika,
I have downloaded the script to load the multiple page of pdf file.
I tried loading the multiple page PDF file via File Menu -> Scripts -> Other Script...
After executing the script file -> Browse and enter the page number - > OK
The PDF file is looks like created from word document. There are total 120 pages in this file.
PDF file size is 20 MB.
I'm still searching for the solutions. Please help me.

After 9.3 update getting error printing to Adobe PDF while converting from Powerpoint to PDF

That happened after upgrading Acrobat Pro 9.1.2 to 9.2->9.3 on Windows XP sp2 platform. Converting from other Microsoft Office 2003 products is totally normal(Excel, Word) Did anyone came accross and know how to fix that?? We have many users with exactly same issue.

A lot of the time the files can not be combined because of incompatible fonts, or at least font sets that could not be resolved. Maybe that will give you some direction to look at.

I am getting error while running the Cryptotools.exe from the command Prompt.
cryptotools credstore -add -infile <OracleBIData>/web/config/credentialstore.xml

Do you want to write the passphrase to the xml? y/n (n):when i try to put y or n in last line.
there is one runtime error i m getting "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

Sounds like some DLLs might be corrupt or not the correct versions. You only need Cryptotools.exe to generate the credentialstore file. So you could generate it on another server/PC and then copy it across to the server where you have issues with cryptotools.

I have Vision database,version 11.5.10. I'm comiling/reloading the database objects
using "ADADMIN UTIL" in user applmgr.
After 4 hours of running,
In the terminal window it showed

But fortunately, nothing happened as said.
All the objects in the database are in compiled state, except 9 objects.
As i said earlier even after ignoring and going forth i haven't faced any issues as of now and the application is running fine.
i couldn't figure it out, i think error reported only for the 9 invalid objects.

OS X System Freezes While Running Disk Utility repair permissions

While trying to pepair permissions systom freeze up. So I put in the startup disk hit restrat holding down c and tried to repair permissions that way and it froze up that way too. I had to manually turn off machine. What is going on?

Thanks for your response, I only have one disk. 10.5.1 I have 10.6 on usb drive. I will try running Disk Utility from the first DVD and instead of repair permissions try to repair your drives. The reason I was repairing permissions is I have an app called video converter and when I opened it I got an error window. Ok I will try repair disk. If that doesnt work I guess I will have to reinstall the os? Is that right? Ok, here I go to try it.

I am getting error #1328 while trying to install update to acrobat XI. The error says it failed to apply patch to C:\config.msi\PTFBD7.tmp. I have uninstalled and reinstalled acrobat as the help page said to do, but it still will not install the update.
