Getting mid 50% in a query

In a query, I need to retrict a characteristic to the middle 50% values. That is, I should exclude the top 25% and bottom 25% values. How can I do this?

My idea is just a small change in what others proposed
If you have hold on update rules,you can write a routine mapping keyfigure ( create new and add in cube for employees) and map this charecteristics coming from the source
Reload the cube/Init without data transfer and create conditions for the keyfigure for exclusion of top and bottom 25% to get median values

I have an array called "sums" that holds 4 query's, each
query has a different number of records.
Then i use this code to loop the records of the query inside
the array:

This results in 4 times 4 records, of course as i now use the
array length in the inner loop.
My question is, how can i get the recordcount of a query in a
array so i can use that for the inner loop "to" value.

No. It points to each query in turn. So if you have four
queries, the first time it will point to sum[1]. Then next time
sum[2], etcetera. It should work exactly the way you want "as is".
If you are having a problem, it is probably related to the code
inside your inner loop.

1) When a query administrator with the sufficient authorization (sap_all or the * authorization for the field in the authorization object) is creating the query in query designer including the 'attributes' which are not visible with the 'normal' authorizations, the query will not list the columns in the output when it is executed by the normal user.
2) so create an authorization object for each of these attributes with * (full authorization)

Why am I getting midi conflict sample rate errors with no connected midi device?

Ok, I'll answer this myself. It has nothing much to do with midi devices being in conflict with anything. Nothing much to do with midi devices, as such, in fact. What it seems to be is a slow running system, whether it be processor, or hard disk, or whatever. In fact, when I found the cause of the problem, it was easy to solve.
What I saw a few times throughout this episode, was an inacurate sample rate report, which caused Garageband to run and react slowly, causing stuttering and flutter in audio output, so that noises were produced as the program struggled to handle the data streams it was reading and trying to reproduce and output cohesively. All of that was caused, it seems, by my iMac overworking and getting a bit too hot for comfort, having run all day, and multitasking for a good deal of it. I didn't adjust I/O buffering, or take any of the usual 'advised action' I've read from other users.
I simply saved my work and shut down the machine for an hour or two. When I restarted the machine, all had returned to normal. The lesson is, it seems to me, is minimise, or, stop other tasks the machine is carrying out. Safari, in particular, seems to be a major drain on resources, so work without it running. Shut down all unecessary programs and tasks, and run Garageband alone, when working in it. Garageband is a much tamer beast when it's left alone to do what you ask of it. It's quite a sensitive little soul. :-)

Radio button getting unchecked when form in query mode

There are 4 radio buttons on my form.Initially when the form is opened one radio button is checked.But when the form is in query mode that radio button got unchecked.Is there any way that the initial checked radio button remains checked even the form is in query mode ?

Solutions given by Kevin and Zaibiman is not applicable for my form as the radio button will be in data base block only.This is the requirement of the form.
The other solution given by Zaibiman was to set the radio button item when entered in query mode , i have tried that but that is also not working.
Pranati,the solution given by you i have also tried that ,but that has not solved the issue,Radio button get unchecked when eneterd in query mode.
Please elaborate and suggest.

You still use contemporary (which means: of the same era/time in history) where you mean simultaneously (=at the same time). Try another translation site...
If you want to trigger three channels I would probably make three tracks, each with the same region on it, all assigned to their own unique MIDI channel (1, 2 and 3 in this case). Then apply sufficient delay via the Inspector to the two 'echoing' tracks.
Of course this is only editing after recording MIDI. If you want it 'live' (as you play), you'll need to go into the environment and create a note duplicating and delaying setup.
But why use MIDI echo? You could simply use the *Delay Designer* to get the same (or probably better ) effect?

I created a sender/receiver assignment from query 1 to query 2 using RSBBS. For two characteristics I assigned the processing method by Variable. Process mode for these variables in the receiver query is by customer exit. But I dont know how to set/get values of these variables.
Is there any function module to do it ??

How to get these Attribute class in Query Statement ?

I have 2 SCCM primary site, the first one is a migrated site from SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 SP1 & then upgraded to SCCM 2012 R2, the second one is a newly created SCCM 2012 R2 site.
I was trying to create a collection membership rule using the query statement on the second site & i found there are attribute classes which were missing on this site.
Under query rule /edit query rule in the criteria tab i am trying to define a new criteria with Criteria type : Simple value & then i click the select under "Where" for chossing the attribute class & a value called "Winlogon64"
don't exists there. There are other classes which are missing too.
then i go to my first site & i can see the classes there, collection query rule are also defined using the attribute classes.
Now my questions are :-
1. Does these settings gets migrated from SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 on the first site?
2. How can we get this in SCCM 2012 R2 on the second site?

It sounds a lot like you where using an extension on your hardware inventory. Changes to your hardware inventory are not migrated, so you would need to recreate that change in the hardware inventory.

Can't get IVI Power Meter error query to work properly.

I have been trying to use the IviPwrMeter Error-Query.vi to read possible errors coming from the Power Meter. However, I have found that no errors can be detected using this vi. This is because the returned value 'status' is wired over to the 'error code' input of 'IviPwrMeter Error Converter.vi' and the status value will always be equal to VI_SUCCESS as the attached code signifies.
All of this code was generated by either LabWindows/CVI and/or LabView.
If I wire the error code output of 'IviPwrMeter_error_query' function to the error code input of 'IviPwrMeter IVI error converter.vi', the errors on the Power Meter is at least detected.
Am I doing something wrong here or are there other work arounds?

I get the same results as you if I don't have a power meter connected. However, this doesn't supprise me because the session handle is probably checked at a higher level.
The calling hiearchy is as follows (I think, because I don't have all of the code) IviPwrMeter Error Query.vi -> IviPwrMeter_error_query (IviPwrMeter.dll) ->age4418b_error_query (age4418b.dll). I would guess that the session is validated in the second layer and not the bottom layer where the actual instrument error query is happening.
Something you may try. If you have any instrument, write a simple program to get a valid handle then call the error query using the error cluster to link them together. Set a breakpoint before the error query, run the program, use MAX to send an invalid command and create an error. Then resume your original program and see if an error is reported in the error cluster after executing the IVI error query.

The :mydate parameter is defined in the .rdl with a Data type: of Date/Time
I am trying to trouble shoot this by using a Linked Server to Oracle and even going against Oracle itself...providing the following syntax because I believe this is what's being sent over via SSRS...
WHERE TRUNC(TO_DATE(11/30/2014 00:00:00), 'Month') <= HCFA_ARCH_PREMIUMWITHHOLD.END_DATE
However, every time I try this, I get an Oracle error...ORA-01843: not a valid month
Can anyone help me out in the data transformation from SSRS to Oracle and the syntax that actually gets passed over so that I can try and troubleshoot this?

Please add the myDate field in the report to check if the myDate have the format like:'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss AM' or 'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss PM', If so, your issue can be caused by the format of the :mydate parameter which is like 'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss AM'
or 'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss PM' in the report ,so it have extra ' AM' or ' PM' compare with that in the TRUNC(TO_DATE('11/30/2014 00:00:00'), 'Month').
You can get the format wanted 'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss' from 'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss AM' as below:
You can create an new calculated field to get the new date by using expression as below and then create the parameter based on this calculated field:
=Fields!DateTime.Value.ToString().Replace(" AM","").Replace(" PM","")
You can also hide the :myDate parameter and then create an new parameter(NewMyDate) based on the :myDate
parameter which will have the format like 'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss':
Specify the available value and default value using below expression:
=Parameters!myDate.Value.ToString().Replace(" AM","").Replace(" PM","")
Then you can use the @NewMyDate to add in the query to filter the data.
