Cannot install iTunes 10.7 on Windows 7. Getting "a program required for this install could not be run"--Apple Software Update is not installed, so updating it is not a possible solution.

I was following the process of unistalling all Apple software and reinstalling iTunes. But I am getting an error that says "a program required for this install could not be run."
Other threads recommend updating the Apple Software Update module, but that was uninstalled. So if it's part of the problem, updating it is not a solution.
Windows 7, 64-bit, SP 1 installed.

For what it's worth, at the point the installation fails, Bonjour, Apple Application Support, and Apple Mobile Device Support all show as installed on Control Panel. Apple Software Update has a link on the Start Menu but does NOT show as installed on Control Panel. Is there a way to install this separately from iTunes?

How do i get started with NFC for my android app?

As far as i can tell there is absolutely nothing to be found about NFC for actionscript.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to get started on this?

you should look for (or create) an ane (adobe native extension) to provide the gateway you want.

The theme/background (AWESOME futuristic space scene) shown in the last part of "Getting Started video available for download?

In the last part of the video "Getting Started" right after I downloaded Firefox 4, there was a background scene of an awesome page that showed some futuristic space scene that has the mozilla theme (fox) in the picture. I would like to know if it is available for download and/or it's name. I searched through the themes, but they don't show enough of the theme to actually see what the background would be once downloaded. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi,
Please navigate to the fmwconfig folder and check the adapters.os_xml file.
$DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/ovd/default/adapters.os_xml
There are chances the adapters.os_xml file could be corrupted due to which the Weblogic server fails to start.
Please verify if the adapters.os_xml file is valid.
In case the file is corrupted, please perform the following steps :
1) Take a backup of $DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/ovd/default/adapters.os_xml
2) Delete $DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/ovd/default/adapters.os_xml
3) copy adapters.os_xml from $MW_HOME/oracle_common/modules/oracle.ovd_11.1.1/templates/ to $DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/ovd/default/
4) Restart the server.

Cancel one phone and get started with internet for the house

I have 2 phones on my account one for and and the other for my wife, now we work together and pretty much using one phone so im paying for 2 phones while only using one.
I want to just get rid of that phone on my account and start up Internet at our new home so im actually paying for something instead of wasting.
how do i go about that do i still pay a cancellation fee for the 2nd phone to?

If you are looking to just cancel one phone line, it absolutely can be done. If you are still under contact with the one line you want to cancel, then there will be an ETF (early termination fee).
If there is an ETF on the line of service that you are looking to cancel, you may be able to check with friends or family members to see if anyone is looking to take over the line and put it in their name which is called an Assumption of Liability.

What if I want to use a different cloud service? There is no option for backing up to another cloud service? Hope you add that option soon. And it's fine to do away with Events and use Albums, but why not convert all Events to Albums for consistency?

iCloud Library is not a back up service. It's your actual library in the Cloud. You still need to back up your Library on your Mac. But that's a different thing. Events are converted to Albums when you migrate.

Getting started in Developing extensions for Dreamweaver CC

i'm looking for info on how to get started developing extensions for DW CC. Specifically:
1. guides, tutorials
2. API reference
What i'm looking to be able to do is, among others:
1. add elements for inserting into the "insert" panel/menu
2. add panels.
3. be able to drag elements from that panel into the design
4. be able to identify tags in the web page as special tags. like how jquery UI tags are identified and have this little hovering label
5. be able to develop specialized property views for special tags. like how jquery ui tags have special properties, once i pressed that little hovering label thing.
One question that answering can really help - can say the guides for CS5 be a good starting point, and from there figure out what to do via the extendscript toolkit?

True, the Adobe documentation on extensions creation is very slim, especially if you are looking at the latest releases. What I think you should do is to look back to the origins. First of all the SDK offers great examples (from 2003):

Also there are two great books: Dreamweaver MX Extensions by Laura Gutman and Building Dreamweaver 4 & UltraDev 4 Extensions by Tom Muck and Ray West. I believe you may read free chapters online in places such Safari library or Google books.
The books are old, you have to understand and adapt for the new versions, but in essence everything stays the same.

Hi,
Although I'm learning I am a complete programming / javascript / json / jquery novice so my apologies in advance if this is a stupid question or i have failed to understand the new restful api functionality which is available under this beta.
In the past, where a client has had really specific functionality that was not achievable within the BC framework, I have implented an external php application (with the help of a web developer) and simply linked to it via a sub domain. Obviously not ideal.
My hope is that the new api functionality will open up a range of possibilities that will go some way toward eliminating the need to build extenal applications and simply extend the existing BC framework using the added api functionality.
One example that i would like to move solely on to BC is the following - http://mylist.grocerwatch.com.au/
The above is a grocery pricing comparison website whereby the applicaton highlights the cheapest and best value (comparible) products. The application also allows the user to select from the items displayed to create a shopping list showing where to buy the selected products for the best value. The user can also email, print, or save their shopping list.
My question is for someone who is more farmiliar with the new api and who is perhaps more experienced than me with programming. Would it be possible to create the above solely on BC without sacrificing speed, security, functionality etc?

Getting started with the iPhone SDK

Ok, so I downloaded the iPhone SDK to my Macbook Pro and installed it. When I go into the Developer folder I can find an xcode program, version 3.1, but I can't find how to get an IDE environment running to start writing code in. In short I'm new to the Mac platform and could do with some help getting started writing code for the Mac/iPhone platform. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good tutorial to get me going?
(btw, I program in other languages on other platforms so I understand programming and its concepts, just not specific to a Mac ;D )

There is no such thing as Weblogic Portal 11g. The latest release of WebLogic Portal is 10.3.2.
