Getting track listing on iPod to match the ones on iTunes...

Hello. I've never figured out why on iTunes I can manually set the track order of an album, but when I sync it to the iPod the track order never changes.
Just wondering if there is a way to set the iPod track order manually to match the iTunes track order...
Any help will be MUCH appreciated! thanks.

I have manually set the track listing of each song to match the order of the ablums, and that solves the problem on iTunes, but on the iPod itself, they take on an order of their own.
Even when I rip tracks directly from the CD, the problem (sometimes) occurs. For example, on disk 2 of 'Heaven & **** - Live', the first track, 'Computer God' is always last on the album (on iPod), but first on iTunes.
I've already had to make several separate playlists for this problem, and it's become a little annoying... I don't know what else to do.

To change the ID:
For iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (Receive At in iOS 5), tap the ID sign out, sign back in using the other ID.
For FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>Facetime.
For Purchasing, do this in Settings>iTunes & App Stores (Settings>Store in iOS 5).
For iCloud, you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account. Before deleting the account, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll or you will lose them. To do this, open the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On iPod. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.

Write Protection Error when Uploading track list to IPod 4G

Hi,
When I upload tracks to my Ipod playlist from the library I get a message
saying that the device is protected and unable to sync even though it has
been able to transfer 1 or 2 tracks. I then have to close down Itunes (without
ejecting the ipod) then re open Itunes and then I am able to transfer some more
tracks and some times all remaining tracks can be transfered with out a problem,
until I import another CD then all starts over again.
Does any one have a solution to this?

Connection reset by peer: socket write errorThat says that the server, where the file comes from, closed the connection.
The most likely possibilities
1. The client software is not correctly communicating with the server. Solution: fix the client
2. The server is not correctly handling this request. Solution: fix the server
3. The server doesn't want to talk the the client. Solution: fix both the server and the client.
From the above unless you are in a position to fix something then you do not have an option.
If you yourself cannot fix either of those then this is a vendor problem and you must contact the vendor (creator) of the software client and/or server. You would do that somewhere besides this site.

In Oracle Applications, we are getting the following error while performing ROLLBACK to a Savepoint.
"Unexpected Error: ORA-01086: savepoint 'PTNR_BULK_CALC_TAX_PVT' never establishe d ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception"
So how can I get a list of active savepoints for the current session?
Could you please also let me know if there is any better way to debug this issue.
Appreciate any quick response as the issue is very critical.

There is no way to get a list of active savepoints. Is this your code or a "canned" procedure? If it is your code you can go through the code looking for answers, possibly tracing execution using DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE or writing messages to a log table. If its a "canned" procedure you may need to open an SR with Oracle

I'm not quite sure what it is you are looking for, but there are a three different ways to view the files and folder in a directory in Finder - Icon view, List view, or Column view - or you can use Terminal and use the various options for the ls UNIX command for listing a directory. You can't track it with the serial number. If you had an iPod Touch running iOS 5 later AND set up Find my IPod on it, then there is a chance you might be able to locate it by going to www.icloud.com, logging in with your Apple ID and clicking Find my IPod. Of course, the iPod still needs to be on and connected to a Wi-Fi network in order for it to be located.
If nothing else, report it to the police and change any and all passwords to any accounts you set up or used on the iPod.
Apple otherwise cannot help you.

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to upadte your rescue email address for potential future use

The kernel the system is running doesn't match the one installed

I've been trying to install Arch to a new desktop I've built. The wireless card(TP-link wn725n v2) requires a driver that I've downloaded, and have been trying to get on the system. I finally decided to install Arch to a flash drive, install the driver to the flash drive, and then install Arch to the desktop. When installing the driver to the desktop, I don't run into any problems. When I tried installing on the USB, I got an error message. I did a quick google search and found I forgot to install the linux headers. Then another problem showed its face.

I looked around more, and I think I've located the source of the error.
When I type in 'uname -r'
I get: '3.12.3-1-ARCH'
When I type in 'pacman -Q linux'
I get: 'linux 3.12.6-1'
I'm not sure where to go from here. Any ideas?

Ryan, could you also revise your title to more specifically identify the problem you are facing. I suspect an update and reboot will fix the problem, as I'd agree with your diagnosis: the kernel running does not match the one installed - but in case we're wrong, the title-worthy component of the problem would relate to failure to build rtl8188eu driver.

I know that the password is correct and have rechecked this by changing it a few times
and I still get the same result.
My network internet service provider is not interested and says to call Epson.
Anybody have any clues how I can resolve this?

I personally suggest the new Drobo FS. Since it has an iTunes server built in and you can use any size sata hard drive in it it is better and a NAS that has to use the same size drives.
