GL Account Tab of PO Invoice

Hi,
I have the following scenario:
- PO of $100
- GR done, PO invoice of $80 received. Vendor discovered the mistake and sent us an additional $20 credit note.
How can I enter these information into MIRO (PO invoice)? Can I add $20 to the GL account tab?

I need some clarrification but this is my assumption.
1) PO for £100 - followed by
2) Invoice for £80 - Then
3) The Goods receipt was performed.
4) Supplier then sent additional invoice for £20.00
If my assumptions are correct the last invoice needs to be processed through MIRO as a supplimentary debit.

  • Changing account receivable in accounting tab

    Dear All,
    I would like to change GL account in the account receivable field on accounting tab of a customer business partner master data. The customer has had some transactions booked in general ledger, is it possible to replace it with other AR account ? I have actually created GL account per customer group. I use UDF and FMS so that each time when select a certain customer group, the GL account automatically filled in the field. Please help. Thanks

    Once the Business Partner (BP) is posted with entries you cant change.
    But You can create another BP and you can transfer the amount by passing the journal. You should link the new BP to Old BP thru Payments Consolidation. So that only,  we can get the pending invoices at the time of Incoming/Outgoing payments.

    I have found that one field name "Order Number" is under the Accounting Tab of SO and A/R Invoice.
    Can you please tell me whats the usage of this field and whats the effect comes in sap due to this.

    Enter an order number of the chain when you use the direct distribution method. This number is recorded in the file that you send to a head office of the chain store.

    Hi,
    Generally MIRO screen have " PO reference" TAB & if you want active "G/L account' & " Material " TABs in the MIRO screen, you can activate by selecting two check boxes of "Direct posting to G/L account=active" & "Direct Posting to Material=active"  & then save, in the following path
    SPRO> Material Management>Logistics Invoice Verification->Incoming Invoice->Activate Direct Posting to G/L Accounts and Material Account

    I need to make "Site" Field in Tcode MIRO - G\L Account Tab as inputable field for User which is currently not visible in screen.
    This field is available in Standard Layout provided in SAP as Invisible.
    I cannot able to make the field as Optional in Standard Layout.
    The field is also available in Structure ACGL_ITEM-WERKS.
    Can Anyone tell me how to make the field ready for User Input in MIRO Screen.

    These fields are not saved in the logistic invoice document so their value can not be transferred. They can be made visible by changing   screen variant however, this still means that the fields will not be ready for input, you can only see them.  technically, when an invoice with the item referred to a G/L account is posted, the field 'Plant' cannot be properly saved in the database table RBCO, because there are no fields for them in the table RBCO       
    and this can cause problems by following processes.  The field can be made visible by changing screen      
    variant however, this still means that they will not be ready for input.

  • MIRO and VBUND field on G/L account tab

    When using MIRO, additional posting via the G/L account tab should be with trading partner field. Setting up a new screen variant with OLMRLIST should make it possible to have the trading partner field (ACGL_ITEM-VBUND) included in the screen variant. However, it does not show up.
    If you should put the field as Required (which should not be in our case) then the field trading partner comes visible when double-clicking on the entry line.
    Can anyone tell me how I get the field ACGL_ITEM-VBUND in the MIRO screen variant ?

    The field VBUND - Company ID of trading partner is not avialable in Table RSEG.
    You need to maintain this filed first in RSEG using append structure, then
    You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) MRM_ITEM_CUSTFIELDS to integrate a subscreen of your own at item level to process customers' own data.
    The structure DRSEG_CI is already contained in the structures DRSEG (invoice item (dialog processing)), MMCR_FRSEG and MMCR_RBMA. If you wish to save customers' own fields to the database, you must attach these fields in an APPEND structure to the corresponding database table (RSEG, RBDRSEG, RBMA).
    For G/L account lines, add an APPEND structure with the customer's own fields to the structure COBL_MRM. The customer's own fields then also exist in the database table RBCO.
    To implement this BAdI, you need ABAP knowledge to create the subscreen and for the flow logic.

  • MIRO G/L Account Tab

    In MIRO we are entering values in GL account tab and along with PO reference postings to handle unexpected expenses to be paid to Vendor. But the system is not giving error or waring message errespective of the amount we enter in GL account tab. No tolerance is considered and we need to restrict the values enter in MIRO GL account tab with tolerances.
    Please explain how to handle this requirement.

                   While entering amount in GL account tab in Miro for example in small difference in invoice verification GL system will only let you post the entry unless amount entered equates the amount for vendor in PO condition. If you post an amount exceeding the vendor condition amount system will never let you post entry that truly conforms to dual aspect of entry in GL accounting. Any how tolerance limit for GL can be set in OBA0.

    i had a problem with jabber on windows, i already login and can do a IM and see the presence, but i cant do voice/video call,
    when i try to see the setting on file - options - i cant see any phone account tab, that should be i used to put my phone configuration,
    i use a BE6K with unified PM, are anyone experienced this before?

    You need to add the following on your xml for the phone account option to show on the newer Jabber versions
      Not_Set
    Save the file as jabber-user.xml to test,
    Get the file to this folder:
    C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config.
    If this solves the issue upload the xml as jabber.xml on a TFTP.

    1. I need to add a field in Sales order.
    Path for the same is as follows:
    VA01> Goto> Header--> Accounting tab
    2. The field will be a date field that needs to calculate date on.
    a)create a new field. ex - zchdt (chq due date)
    b)when customers enters value in Assignment,
    i.e vbak-zuonr
    after that trigger logic is
    3.vabk-kunnr = knvv-kunnr
    a)sy-date + knvv-kvgr2 (exclude sundays)
    example - 14 sept + 30 days = 14th october
    should populate value - 14th october i.e. field (zchdt)
    4. This activity needs to be triggered before the sales order is saved.
    kindly know whether this is possible or not.

  • Accounting entry against Excise invoice not created  for Service Tax sales

    Dear all,
        I am facing one problem related to accounting entry against excise invoice not created, for service tax sales scenario in SEZ plant.
    Accounting entry against billing document is generated,which contains revenue account-Debit entry,service tax 10% --Debit entry,ECS-Service tax 2% --Debit entry, SECess Service Tax 1% --Debit entry & Sundry Debtors (Reco)  - Domestic(Customer receivable reconciallation) account-Credit entry.
      But after generating excise invoice, accouning entries not generated for clearing of Cenvat suspense entry(i.e.service tax 10% ,ECS-Service tax 2% , SECess Service Tax 1%) which is generated during billing document.
    Plz. suggest step by step guideline to resolve this issue.

    Now i am geeting error as below at the time of saving Excise invoice,

    Message no. F5670
    Diagnosis
    No account was specified for account type "S" in item "0000000001" of the FI/CO document.
    System Response
    The Financial Accounting program cannot process the document.
    Procedure
    A system error has probably occurred in the application you called up. Check the data transferred to item "0000000001" of the FI/CO document.

  • Accounting document from _cancel invoice "Not cleared"

    Dear All,
    When we create a billing document then an accounting document gets created automatically in the background and then when we cancel the billing document then another accounting document gets generated and the entries in the previous accounting document are offset and the status of both the document becomes cleared. But in my case after the cancel billing document has been generated only the accounting document of the invoice is getting cleared but the accounting document of the cancel billing document is NOT CLEARED. Can anybody please help me find out a solution to the issue.
    Flow chart:
    Sales order = completed
    Delivery = completed
    Goods Issue = complete
    Invoice = completed
    Accounting Document = cleared
    Cancel Invoice (S1) = Completed
    Accounting Document = Not Cleared
    In customer line item still showing the cancel accounting document.
    When I go to VFX3 and try to release the cancel invoice i get the message-" no documents found for these selection criteria."
    Please help me  to find a solution.

    Accounting Document generated for Excise Condition types.We do not want to generate Accounting document for Excise Invoice.
    We have marked the Excise Condition types JEXP,JECP,JA1X as Stastical in Pricing procedure & also not assigned the Account Keys for the same.
    How to make other settings for non generation of Accounting document for Excise Invoice.It's a Domestic scenario.

    Instead of creating the Excise Group i have created the Sub Trasaction type (DS) ETT Type DLFC.
    In SPRO Specified the Excise Account per Excise Transaction DLFC & DS.
    Also Specified G/L Accounts per Excise Transactions.
    Excise Grp (P2),ETT (DLFC),Company Code (MU51),Chart of Accts(XXX),all the G/L Accounts kept BLANK.
    While creating the Excise Invoice thor.J1IIN,if i put Sub Transaction type DS then the system gives the following error.
    Excise modvat accounts not defined for DLFC transaction and  excise group
    Message no. 8I402
    Please suggests.

    Hi Sudhir,
                    You can not have different Valuation Categories for the same material.
    you can have different Valuation Types, that you can maintain with the T-Code MM01.
    and when you are creating valuation types, just check that in the MM60 you can see same material more then once, one of them will be w/o Valuation Type and others will have Valuation Types.
