Global Type declaration/definition are duplicated

Hi,
I am migrating my components  from Solution accelerator 111150 to 111181. I have modified the names spaces for task and removed the references of workflow.xsd and replaced it with "oramds:///soa/shared/workflow/WorkflowTask.xsd". I am facing the issue of duplicate declaration/ definition
Error: Global Type declaration/definition of name '{http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/workflow/task}systemAttributesType' are duplicated at the following locations:
oramds:///soa/shared/workflow/WorkflowTask.xsd [line#: 248]
http://qaipm.atfoods.com:8001/soa-infra/services/default/ReportData//soa/shared/workflow/WorkflowTask.xsd [line#: 238]
There are at least two of them looking different:
oramds:///soa/shared/workflow/WorkflowTask.xsd [difference starting at line#:345]
http://qaipm.atfoods.com:8001/soa-infra/services/default/ReportData//soa/shared/workflow/WorkflowTask.xsd [difference starting at line#:334]
and below that there are numerous errors. I believe those are due to this first line. where am i going wrong?
Regards.

It looks like your local orsmds store and your server's oramds store are out of sync.
To be sure, check the differences in WorkflowTask.xsd file at the following locations
Local machine -->  "jdeveloper\integration\seed\soa\shared\workflow"
URL --> http://qaipm.atfoods.com:8001/soa-infra/services/default/ReportData//soa/shared/workflow/WorkflowTask.xsd
I am sure there must be a difference at the location mentioned in your original post.
Regards,
Vikrant Korde.

  • Global Type declaration/definition of name duplicated error

    Hi, All,
    We have two EJB exposed as the Webservice , so WS-1 and WS2, When I insert these two WS into the SOA Application to used by BPEL process. I get the compile error from jdev(11.1.1.1.3) like this:
    Global Type declaration/definition of name '{http://mynamespace-here/oracle}SearchParameter' are duplicated at the following locations:
    EJB WS1 xsd line ***
    EJB WS2 xsd line ***
    SearchParameter is bean SearchRequest‘s property, this bean is shared using in two EJB method interfaces.
    Our class design like this:
    @XmlRootElement
    @XmlType(name = "SearchRequest",
    namespace = " http://mynamespace-here/oracle ")
    public class SearchRequest
    implements Serializable
    private SearchInterface searchCriteria;
    @XmlElements(value =
    { @XmlElement(name = "SearchParameter",
    type = SearchParameter.class) })
    public SearchInterface getSearchCriteria()
    return searchCriteria;
    At here SearchInterface is an empty interface and SearchParameter is a class implement this interface.
    I feel @XmlElement in fact cause this duplicated error.
    So in this case, how can we expose this SearchInterface/SearchParameter through the XML properly?
    Thanks .

    If the message type in the external service and the one using in your local are using the same schema, could you check whether the external service has changed the schema in any way? Adding new fields, changing the field name, or changing the namespace? We had faced this issue before, and it was because the schema in our mds is different from the schema from OSB, which they changed it after we get the artifacts and we didn't have the updated schema in our mds.

  • "Global Type declaration duplicated", cached xsd conflicting in jdeveloper?

    We're having problems recompiling a project after changing a schema in a second project on which it depends:
    Our HR composite app imports a schema from our FaultHandler app. I added 2 new elements to the FaultHandler schema and redeployed to the server - now our HR composite app won't recompile. It errors saying:
    [scac] error: in EmpTransformSynch.bpel(87): query "/ns9:HandleFaultRequest/ns9:TimestampeInit" is invalid, because Global Type declaration/definition of name '{http://mydomain.com/SOA/FaultHandler}HandleFaultRequestType' are duplicated at the following locations:
    [scac] http://mydomain.com:8001/soa-infra/services/default/FaultHandlerProject/xsd/FaultHandler.xsd [line#: 4]
    [scac] http://mydomaincom:8001/soa-infra/services/default/FaultHandlerProject/FaultHandler?XSD=xsd/FaultHandler.xsd [line#: 7]
    [scac] There are at least two of them looking different:
    [scac] http://mydomain.com:8001/soa-infra/services/default/FaultHandlerProject/xsd/FaultHandler.xsd [difference starting at line#:16]
    [scac] http://mydomain.com:8001/soa-infra/services/default/FaultHandlerProject/FaultHandler?XSD=xsd/FaultHandler.xsd [difference starting at line#:19]
    I can view the 2 URIs in my browser, and while they differ slightly in how they reference another schema, the schemas (and imported schema) are semantically equivalent.
    We've taken the following steps to try to resolve it:
    Undeploy the previous revision of Fault handler
    Restart soa server
    Redepoy Fault Handler
    Clean HR app
    Make HR app
    We have the issue in both jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 and 11.1.1.4.0
    This is surely something very simple, but it's blockiing us at the moment.
    Any help much appreciated.

    If your schema contains any characters which will be escaped when parsed by a browser, then version present in the actual .xsd and the version referenced via HTTP server will be different causing the issue.
    If you can post the content of your actual schema (as you see it in jDev and not the one opened in the browser) here it will help identifying the issue if any.

  • Global element declaration/definition of name: Duplicate name spaces

    Hi,
    I have two wsdls provided by a target systems. Both the wsdls are using same name space and few elements descriptions are different.
    Obvisouly i am getting the Global element declaration/definition of name error.
    I have to use the two wsdl with in the same bpel process and invoke them one after the other. My target system is not ready to make changes in thier wsdl to change name space as the product is generating these wsdls for them. All i have to do is in BPEL process only.
    Is there any idea how can we resolve the namespace issue to continue using these wsdl in the same bpel process.
    Only alternative i am seeing is, to have two bpel subprocess for each service and call these bpel processes from my parent bpel process.
    Thanks

    the cause of this error that you have different definition of the same element , so what you need to make sure that the element with the same name have the same definition on those wsdls.

  • Diff types of work area declarations

    Hi all,
    Data: wa_ekko type it_ekko.
    Data:Wa_ekko like line of it_ekko.
    in the above declarations both are work areas, But i have dout that when i can i use the first one and when second one. is there any specific reason.
    pls let me know with details
    Thanks,
    Mythily

    Dear Mythily,
    Try creating a sample program.
    Just the data declaration and a write statement will be sufficient.
    Put a break-point at the WRITE statement and execute the program. In the dubugger, copy the variable and paste it into the adjacent window(you can also double-click on the variable..:) )
    Now try to analyze.
    I hope you find this useful...

  • Source XML data type declaration querry

    Hi all,
    I am very confused in below XML data type declaration.
    I am dealing first time with this type of XML.
    In source XML header items are mentioned in header node(address).
    <address addressline1="6th & Hunt" addressline2="" city="Pryor" state="OK" country="Sun" zip="74361">

    </address>
    Please Help in the "Data type declaration" of above source XML????
    How can i use this data type in message mapping????
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Umesh,
    You can use Data types with Attributes in XI.

    And you can even try with the External Definition also.
    Hope this helps,

  • Annotation Type Declaration

    Why in anno type declaration some types look like methods ?
    Example:
    public @interface MyAnnotation {
       String doSomething();                   //HERE
       int count; String date();                 // int is fine but , String , why its a method ?
    Usage:
    @MyAnnotation (doSomething="What to do", count=1,
                   date="09-09-2005")
    public void mymethod() {
    }

    ya ..
    it says
    "The annotation type definition looks somewhat like an interface definition where the keyword interface is preceded by the @ character (@ = "AT" as in Annotation Type). Annotation types are, in fact, a form of interface, which will be covered in a later lesson. For the moment, you do not need to understand interfaces.
    +The body of the annotation definition above contains annotation type element declarations, which look a lot like methods. Note that they may define optional default values.+ "
    But does not explain why they are metods , observe in the above example that ,
    primitive int is directly declared , not as a method ,
    Then all should be methods ..

    Hi, while extending EO, we are getting error "oracle.jbo.NoDefException: JBO-25002: Definition oracle.apps.icx.por.schema.server.XXTBPoRequisitionLineEO of type Entity Definition not found". We have placed class and xml files in respective folder, imported customization and bounced the system but still error did not go. Kindly help to trace the issue.

    Can you elaborate how you deployed your custom code, were steps documented here followed ? Did you create a ADF library jar and copy it over to the application lib directory ? Please provide the exact steps done for deployment.

  • Servicebus: error: sch-props-correct.2: Duplicate global type

    I have a problem creating Split Join on ALSB 3.0. The problem is that the the request message schema of Split join service contains the same type(element) that is defined in request message schema of service that I want to invoke in split join flow.
    It seems that it's inpossible to invoke a service that contains one ore more types that are already defined in request schema of split-join flow. When I build the flow following error comes up:
    "servicebus:/XMLSchema/project/Schemas/types/common/Person error: sch-props-correct.2: Duplicate global type: Person@http://company.com/common/person (Original global type found in file: null)" during type system creation prior to validation led to incomplete validation     project/SplitJoins     SplitJoin.flow     line 1     1208930966845     2118
    So I can't deploy the flow. Is there any workaround? Is this normal or is it a bug?
    Thanks.

    Sounds like a Workshop bug which I have seen before.
    A couple questions to pinpoint it:
    1. Are you use using either a BARE service (no operation name in the reqeust) or 2. are you using imports in your wsdl?
    If 2 then I think there is a patch.
    If 1, then like me, you may be out of luck.

    Is it a bug? any patch is available for this?

    Hi,
    all it says is that a View Object referenced from the application does not exist. However, this is an Oracle Applications environment you are reporting the problem for and thus should be filed on one of the OAFramework forums here on OTN

  • How many types of rfcs are there

    Hello,
    Can any body explain about how many type of rfcs are there. give the difference also.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Check this info.
    These are the types of RFC
    Asynchronous RFC (aRFC)
    Synchronous RFC (sRFC)
    Transactional RFC (tRFC)
    Queued RFC (qRFC)
    Parallel RFC (pRFC)
    Asynchronous RFC :
    This is used when you need to increase the performance of ABAP program by having system call more than one function module in parallel than forcing the program to wait for results .
    Transactional RFC
    This let you group one or more function module call together o tRFC LUW and ensure that fucnction module within LUW is called once . In contrast to aRFC and sRFC the tRFC belonging to tRFC LUW are executed in order .
    tRFC is always used if a function is executed as a Logical Unit of Work (LUW). Within a LUW, all calls are
    1.Executed in the order in which they are called
    2.Executed in the same program context in the target system
    3.Run as a single transaction: they are either committed or rolled back as a unit.
    Implementation of tRFC is recommended if you want to guarantee that the transactional order of the calls is preserved
    Asynchronous remote function calls (aRFCs) are similar to transactional RFCs, in that the user does not have to wait for their completion before continuing the calling dialog. There are three characteristics, however, that distinguish asynchronous RFCs from transactional RFCs:
    • When the caller starts an asynchronous RFC, the called server must be available to accept the request.
    The parameters of asynchronous RFCs are not logged to the database, but sent directly to the server.
    • Asynchronous RFCs allow the user to carry on an interactive dialog with the remote system.
    • The calling program can receive results from the asynchronous RFC.
    You can use asynchronous remote function calls whenever you need to establish communication with a remote system, but do not want to wait for the function’s result before continuing processing. Asynchronous RFCs can also be sent to the same system. In this case, the system opens a new session (or window). You can then switch back and for between the calling dialog and the called session
    RECEIVE RESULTS FROM FUNCTION Remotefunction is used within a FORM routine to receive the results of an asynchronous remote function call. The following receiving parameters are available:
    IMPORTING
    TABLES
    EXCEPTIONS
    The addition KEEPING TASK prevents an asynchronous connection from being closed after receiving the results of the processing. The relevant remote context (roll area) is kept for re-use until the caller terminates the connection.
    Transactional RFC (tRFC) and Queued RFC (qRFC).
    tRFC is used mainly to transfer ALE Intermediate Documents (IDocs).
    Transactional RFC:
    If an error occurs during a synchronous remote function call, the system cannot tell at what point the error occurred (most crucially, whether the function module was actually processed in R/3 before the operation failed). Restarting a failed call is therefore a dangerous thing to do, since you risk duplicating a completed function call.
    To alleviate this problem, you can use transactional RFC, which guarantees that each function call you issue will only be executed once, even if you submit it repeatedly to the R/3 System. The system implements this safeguard by assigning a unique transaction ID (TID) to each transaction that you submit. When you attempt to process the transaction, the system checks whether that TID has already been processed. If it has, the transaction is ignored.
    Disadvantages of tRFC
    - tRFC processes all LUWs independent of one another. Due to the amount of activated tRFC processes, this procedure can reduce performance significantly in both the send and the target systems.
    - In addition, the sequence of LUWs defined in the application cannot be kept. Therefore, there is no guarantee that the transactions are executed in the sequence dictated by the application. The only guarantee is that all LUWs are transferred sooner or later.
    Queued RFC:
    When you use transactional RFC, you cannot guarantee the order in which the function calls will be processed in the system (it is quite possible that one call might overtake another). For cases where you need to specify a particular processing order, you can use queued RFC, which is an extension of transactional RFC. In qRFC, you place each function call in a logical queue. A function call cannot be executed until all of its predecessors in the queue have been processed. Queued RFC calls are processed asynchronously
    Therefore, Queued RFC is better than Transactional RFC.
    Remote Function Call:
    RFC is an SAP interface protocol. Based on CPI-C, it considerably simplifies the programming of communication processes between systems.
    RFCs enable you to call and execute predefined functions in a remote system - or even in the same system.
    RFCs manage the communication process, parameter transfer and error handling.

    Remote Function Call (RFC) is the standard SAP interface for communication between SAP systems. The RFC calls a function to be executed in a remote system.
    Synchronous RFC:
    The first version of RFC is synchronous RFC (sRFC). This type of RFC executes the function call based on synchronous communication, which means that the systems involved must both be available at the time the call is made.

    I submitted a crash report today but i didn't save the info
    I've, of course, done all the usual (or i wouldn't be here). Cleared Cache multiple times...there were some funky warnings coming from the error page thing about co-something or other and this is what i have tonight: Warning: Error in parsing value for 'background-image'. Declaration dropped.
    which i realize is nothing...
    I have never heard of this at all.
    Btw, I uninstalled all my addons and am running on nothing but what comes with my Windows XP and from FF.

    I was able to attach spool file using System_mail_send.
    Relative Job -  Step 1, Job 1
    Job file    -  step1/spool1.txt
    Really hope someone can provide advice..

    Can you please try the following?
    #Attach all files from Step2, Job 1
    @{name}-@{index}.txt=Step 2, Job 1:*
    Also have you set the registry key mentioned in admin guide to set permission for mail job to access the output files?
    For security reasons, you have to specifically allow the directories in which the files reside on the server to be able
    to attach them. This is done by setting a key below configuration/mail/AccessiblePath in the registry.
    The registry key does not exist by default and needs to be created. For example, C:\temp could be the value of
    the registry key configuration/mail/AccessiblePath/temp, note that the name temp of the registry
    key has no significance to SAP CPS, it is its value that will be used.
    Also, what version of SAP CPS are you using?
    Are you receiving the mail, but without attachments?
    thanks
    Nanda
