GOA distributed to backend as Scheduling Agreement

Hi,
SRM 5.0 - ECS
We have a requirement to transfer the GOA created in SRM to backend as scheduling agreement.
GOA replication to backend as a contract is working fine, but i could not crack on the SA.
Any tips would be useful.
Regards
Sudhakar

Hi Sudhakar,
like said, you need to program within BADI to differentiate which document is created. By standard the system takes the first doc type and distributes it to the backend depending on the doc type. To make it more clear: the functionality to either create a Contract or a Scheduling Agreement does not work without programming. By customizing, only one document can be created.
Typcially there are specific doc types in Backend for Contracts and Scheduling Agreements by standard. So it makes sense to follow the standard and create different doc types for Contracts and Scheduling Agreements and use these doc types within the BADI to tell which document is supposed to be created.
Cheers,
Claudia

    Regards,
    Avinash

    Hi Avinash,
In reference to your query about GOA, the distribution error might be beacause of the issues in BADI implementation.
By using the BADI you can define which document to be created in the backend.
BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE BADI can be used in SRM and BBP_CTR BADI can be used in back end R/3 for this purpose.
Check for the transaction types (GCTR) and the number ranges for the transaction types.
The GOA will either create a contract or a Scheduling agreement in R/3 back end after distribution.
Also refer the below SDN thread in this regard :

  • Determine distribution of GOA as a Contract or a Schedule Agreement

    Hello,
We are using SRM 5.5 Server and R/3 4.7 as a backend system. Uptill now we have distributed our GOA by maintaining the same transaction type on SRM and the backend for contracts. However now we have a requirement to be able to distribute GOA as a scheduling agreement for certain product categories. When we choose Scheduling Agreement on item distribution screen, GOA is again distributed as a Contract.
How can we maintaine settings or use a BADI to be able to distribute the GOA as a Schedule Agreement type that R/3 uses instead of the contract type we maintained?
    Thank you,

    Hi Gaia,
you can manipulate the transaction type via BADI BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE
in SRM. Use a Case logic for field iv_logical_system to switch the transaction type
before IDoc transfer to the Backend System. Just ensure that the transactio type
with valid number range is available in the Backend System.

    Claudia

  • Master Data coming from 1 backend and GOA distributed to many bakends

    Hello,
In our case (using SRM 5.0) one backend system is used to replicate all material master data and GOA will be distributed to multiple backends including the one that is used for master data. As far as i know the logical backend system is determined through materials/material groups while GOA is distributed. In the above case how can we intervene with this logic to be able to distribute the GOA to whatever backend we have, even though if the MD is not coming from them?
    Thank you,

    Hi,
You can use the BADI BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS for this purpose.
The method :CONTRACT_LOGSYS_DETERMINE (Determine Target System of Contract) has been provided for the same purpose.

  • Scheduling agreement condition type default deletion indicator in backend system

    Dear team,
    our business process is that-
In SRM system scheduling agreement is created. once its approved from SRM in Backend ECC R3 system the same is getting replicated.
But in few of the cases its been obserbved that the condition pricing is flowing but with deletion indicator selected by default.
I have checked the IDOC for the same but there is no value found flowing from SRM to ECC.
Even searched for the same Material & same vendor in some cases only observed with deletion indicator.
For entire scheduling agreement the deletion conditions are updating that is for all line item in scheduling agreement.
There is no info record exists.
Appreciate if anyone can throw some light over this.

What is the special cases ?
I hope you are using time dependent condition for you SA document type.
Check is it fetching from last PO or SA ?
What is happening, when you are trying to create SA manually via ME31L for the same material and vendor?

The BAdI provides the method FILTER__SCHED_REL.
You can configure the filter settings as you wish. SAP does not deliver any predefined filters.
    Activities
    1. Start transaction se19.
    2. Create your own BAdI implementation as per your requirements.
    3. To filter the item, you need to create your own program code.
These items are then no longer added to the shipping notification proposal.

  • Outline agreement or automatic schedule from scheduling agreement

    Hello Master's,
Plz find the below workflow which will brief u abt the complete process;-
1.User raises indent(me51n) and then releases(me54n) else as per our MRP, indent/PR gets generated automatically.
    2. Standard Practice is that we invite offers, negotiate and place order (me21n) else f we have rate contract for any item we go for direct ordering (me21n) and then get it released (me29n)
For around 20-30k material codes we have rate contract finalized with various suppliers for a period of time.
When we find any indent/pr falling into this category, we dont invite offer but go for ordering as per the finalized price. The price is maintained in excel or pdf format.
Problem is we want to map material codes with vendor and rates associated with the contract.
For this either we have to go for outline agreement(me31k) of scheduling agreement(me31l) so that whenever any indent/PR gets generated in this category, order/delivery schedule will be generated automatically in SAP.
Points in which i need help from you:-
    1. How to generate automatic po from outline agreement or automatic schedule from scheduling agreement.
    2. complete understanding of the difference between outline agreement and scheduling agreement.

    Hi Nilson,
The data contained within the global outline agreement is distributed as purchasing contracts or scheduling agreements to the backend systems of the release-authorized purchasing organizations of the relevant corporate group. These purchasing organizations can then use the purchasing contracts or scheduling agreements according to the terms agreed centrally within the global outline agreement.

  • Scheduling agreement from ECC 6.0 to SRM EBP 5.0

    Hi experts
is there a way to send from ECC 6.0 to SRM EBP 5.0 all the kinds of scheduling agreements?
    thanks
    regards
    andrea

    Hi Andrea,
It is not possible to send Scheduling agreements from ECC to EBP.Same is the case with contracts.
You can only upload backend contracts to SRM. Using GOA you can create either a contract or a Scheduling agreement in R/3.
As informed by Usman, when you integrate R/3 (MM) with SUS it is possible to send S.As to vendors via SUS.
Hope this makes you more clear.Clarifications are welcome.

    Hi
    Can anybody let me know,
What are the steps involve in creation of scheduling agreement and distributing the scheduline lines to SUS.
    Regards
    Ashish

In R/3 go to transaction -->
    ME31L ---> Create Scheduling Agreement
    ME38   ---> Maintain Delivery Schedule
    ME84  ---> Create SA Releases
Once this is done --> and all the configurations are in place , system will SEND
    SAR to SUS.

  • GOA distribution to backend problems

Hi everyone, we are replicating GOA's in SRM 5.5 to contracts in ECC backend.  This is working well, we are even able to distribute to multiple contracts in the backend, depending on what we enter in the distribution screen of the GOA.  The problem we are encountering is random.  Sometimes the contract number in the backend will come back to the GOA properly as the BE-Object id and sometimes it won't.  If 1 GOA seems to work, and I copy it and release the copied GOA to the backend, that one will not bring back the follow-on document number as view in bbp_pd.  The status indicates distribution incorrect, but that is the only message we can find anywhere in the systems.  This is very frustrating considering 1 GOA will work but an exact copy of the one that works, doesn't work.
Helpful answers will be rewarded with points.
    Thanks,
    Marty

    Hi Bejoy,
I had the same issue and it can be solved like this:
The Company Code is not part of the Interface for the Contract Idoc in R/3.
Use R/3 Badi BBP_CTR to derive the company code from the plant used on item
level and fill the segment for the company code on header level of the Idoc.
As there also can be the case, that there are several company codes
possible, you need to define a logic, which company code should be entered
    into the Idoc Segment.
    Thanks,
    Claudia

  • How to measure performance of supplier when using scheduling agreement ?

    Hello all,
My client has an absolute need to be able to measure the performance of its suppliers based on delivery dates and delivered quantities. That is to say he needs to be able to compare what dates and quantities were asked to what has been really delivered.
Most of the procurement processes used are based on scheduling agreements : schedule lines are generated by MRP and forecast is sent to supplier while firm requirements are sent through JIT calls.
It seems that when doing GR in MIGO, it is done against the outline agreement number, and not against the call. Therefore, we have no way to compare dates and quantity with what was expected (in the JIT call).
Do you know if SAP proposes a standard solution to this, and what could be a solution to this issue ?
    Thanks for your help
    E. Vallez

    Hi,
My client faced the same problem and we ended up developing an own analysis in LIS. Since the GR is not linked to specific schedule line (SAP does some kind of apportioning, but it doesn't have to correlate to the correct match), one needs to do assumptions. Our assumption was the closest schedule line, i.e. each GR is related to the schedule line with the closest date. Then all GR the same day are totaled together before the quantity reliability is calculated, since the very same shipment can be reported through several GR transactions in SAP (one per pallet).
If anybody has info about what SAP has to offer in this question (or is developing), please tell us!

  • Order of delivery schedule line counter at schedule agreements from MRP run

Currently we are using schedule agreements for our long term external suppliers, but we are facing a problem with the order of new delivery schedule lines created during MRP run.
Because of master data settings like, lot size, rounding value, plan delivery time and planning time fence to set as firm new requirements, multiple schedule lines are created with no order for schedule line counter.
Does anyone is aware of a BADI, user exit or customizing control to have this schedule line counter in order?
