Google Apps Provisioning with oim error

Hi All,
While I was doing the provisioning of Google apps by creating new user in oim I got this error:
" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/gdata/client/appsforyourdomain/UserService "
but have I copied the 4 jars into the ThirdParty dir.
1.gdata-appsforyourdomain-1.0.jar
2.gdata-core-1.0.jar
3.gdata-client-1.0.jar
4.google-collect-1.0-rc1.jar.
Please suggest any solution regarding this error.

set in class path then try once, it will work.
I think it is an OIM Bug. I did the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue:
1.Remove all the jars (from database third party as well using “DeleteJar.sh”)
2.Add all the four jars into the classpath and with the same window start Managed Server.

Has anyone written a .cfc to simplify the task of interacting with the Google Apps Provisioning API?
We are looking to transition over to Google Apps for our student email, and I see that libraries have been written for python, php, java, and .net but I have yet to come across a suitable interface in ColdFusion. I'd really rather not have to port that wheel from .net to CF.

as much as I love his (Ray Camden's) work, this cfc was last updated in 2008 and is "read only" on the google contacts api...
I need to find something that create contact groups and modify existing groups... Read Only isn't going to cut it for my purposes..

Crystal xi app terminates with no errors

I've installed Crystal XI Professional on a Windows 2003 R2 SP1 server. I am migrating reports from Crystal Reports 8.5 to Crystal XI on this server. I only have Crystal XI installed on the server, though. When I first attempted to open the reports the detail screen of the reports came up, but when I attempted to preview the reports the app closed with no errors. I have very few reports that were visible without being rebuilt. So this is what I've done to determine the problem:
1. I rebuilt a report from scratch in XI. The report had 3 subreports in it. Still not able to preview.
2. I applied Service Packs 1-4 and 2 hot fixes to the app. Now I was able to preview the main report and one very simple subreport. If I tried previewing the other 2 subreports the app would close. If I tried navigating to the subreport within the main report by paging over the app closed once it got to the page containing the subreport.
3. I separated the subreport and began to dissect it one piece at a time to see where it could be failing. I didn't get anywhere closer to the answer this way.
4. I created the subreport from scratch one field, etc. at a time. I first added a field and a simple formula to report expert. The report ran fine, and the correct data was viewable. Then I saved. Then I added another field and a date factor to the report expert formula, refreshed, and it was perfect. I saved it. Then I added 2 more fields, refreshed, perfect, so I saved. Then I added to the report expert formula a phrase that basically says to look for this particular field if 0.00 is not in it. The field is a number field, and this is how it is set up on the report in 8.5. After I added this and refreshed, the application closed. I didn't save the report before I refreshed it, so that portion wasn't saved with the report when it crashed. I reopened the report after the app closed on me, but I couldn't view the preview section just the detail section. The app continued to close each time I clicked on preview. This was the same report I was just previewing. This is what I discovered...
5. I was able bring up the details section of the report, just not able to preview it without the app closing. So, I deleted all the fields and started from scratch again. This time I saved & closed the app between each change. What I discovered is that once I save and close the app, I am not able to view the report in the preview section. The app closes each time.
Since I've applied all Service Packs and fixes, I'm not sure what else to do. I know this is lengthy, but I wanted you to fully understand what was going on. Please help, if you can.

Please provide the following information:
1)Did you manually un-install and then install Crystal reports again.
If no,then please try that first.
To manually un-install remove CR from Add and Remove and then remove the keys(if any) from the registry editor which are related to CR.
2)Are you able to open/create and preview the reports on any other machine except this one.
If yes, then would suggest you to copy all the set-up files from that machine to this machine and then try again to preview the reports.
3)What are the other softwares/packages instaleed on this machine.I mean any .Net dev environment kind of thing.
4)Are you able to preview the reports properly on the machine where 8.5 was installed(in CR 8.5).If not tried then could you please try to install CR XI on this machine and check.

Google apps sync with Pre2 failed

Hi
I was using google apps sync with my old Pre (1.4.5) and it worked fine.
Configuration is same as iphone. Just select Exchange EAS and use the manuel exchange settings to m.google.com
this synced all mails, calendar, contacts similar to an Microsoft exchange server.
However, I can't get it running on the Pre 2. It conncets but but no mails or calendar entries appear.
Any idea? Is this not supported anymore with WebOS 2. This would be a very big step back.

BTW: It's a google apps company account and Pop and IMAP is disabled, so for webos1.4.5 the exchange option is working pretty nice. Would be great if I can enable this in webos2.0, then the sync limitations mentioned in other forum threads won't be there.

Google Apps Email migration; Fatal error: tls_start_servertls() failed

HI,
I am piloting/evaluating a Google apps account at the request of one department and have hit a snag with email migration. Hoping someone here as performed a migration before and might be able to help.
My source is a 10.5.8 mail server and the only real modification to it has been the spam prevention techniques recommended by the fine folks over at topicdesk (works great). In any case, during the google migration API. it requests the following (and i place my entries next to it):
name: server
server software: cyrus
host: I input FQDN of server
security (the choices are SSL or STARTTLS, i use STARTTLS)
port: I input 993
That’s it and then I proceed. It asks for user credentials which I provide (and know are correct).
If I select STARTTLS, it errors out and in my mail logs (set to information), I see this:
Jan 15 13:28:01 host imaps[30911]: imaps TLS negotiation failed: mail-pz0-f30.google.com [209.85.222.30]
Jan 15 13:28:01 host imaps[30911]: Fatal error: tlsstartservertls() failed
If I use SSL (instead of STARTTLS) from the google API, it just silently fails on the mail server (nothing in the logs) and on the google side, it says unable to auth user name but it obviously isn’t even hitting the server when I use SSL since the mail logs do not show failed login attempts when using only SSL on the google migrator API.
So, I am choosing to attack the STARTTLS angle of this...
The local mail clients all can connect fine and they ARE using TLS as made evident here:
Jan 15 13:30:11 host imaps[31304]: login: client [xxx.xxx.xxx.xx] user CRAM-MD5+TLS User logged in
I experience no issues with STARTTLS from apple mail / thunderbird, etc. Only from the Google migrator API so the:
imaps TLS negotiation failed
Fatal error: tlsstartservertls() failed
seems odd to me in that I recall this issue long ago and it was related to TLS not starting but that obviously isn’t the case here since my other TLS clients are connecting to CYRUS using TLS.
Any ideas? Migrating the users via an IMAP client like mail will be a pain if this migrator tool doesn’t work

Well, setting tls to “use” instead of require did not help. Same behavior:
Selecting “SSL” with port 993 in google migrator tool immediately invokes the error:
Failed to authenticate IMAP username: user (I have tried a few users and verified name / password). The mail logs also show nothing so I don’t think SSL can work in a 10.5.x setup since TLS is involved since it seems it never even hits the server at all using this method.
Selecting “STARTTLS” with port 993 in google migrator shows a:
“failed to contact imap server” mail logs continue to show: Jan 25 10:28:21 host imaps[89058]: imaps TLS negotiation failed: mail-pz0-f3.google.com [209.85.222.3]
I’m sure it would work if I enabled IMAP in the clear (hence disabling IMAP SSL completely) but that isn’t going to happen for obvious reasons.
I’ll try contacting google and see if they have any suggestions :X

GOOGLE APPS PROVISIONING TASKS FAILS ABRUPTLY

we have a custom connector for google apps,where in we have some tasks that gets rejected initially for few user and is successfully completed on RETRY of that Task.

Business Catalyst Help | Setting up Google Apps email with Business Catalyst

I was able to do this, however I did have one issue. When users complete the business catalyst forms on my website the from field in google apps gmail has my business catalyst login name instead of the user information placed in the form.
Is there any way to correct this?

On my E72 I have set up two mailaccounts: My private Gmail account and my workmail which is a google apps account. Both work great and I have no problem recieving or sending mails.
My problem is that the inboxes on my phone do not update: When I recieve a new mail in either mailbox and read this mail on my computer, the same email is still unread on my phone.
Why is this, and how do I make my phone update properly?

I forgot to write that if I read an email on my phone it actually eventually shows as read on my computer, which makes this even more puzzling...!

How do I sync Google Apps mail with Mail 5.3?

There's a post here about setting up Google Apps email through MS Exchange on Mail.app 5.2, but this doesn't work for me in 5.3.
The email I've been using for well over a decade is from a former dial-up ISP (Worldshare.net) and I am paying $10/year to keep the address. They've since moved mail to Google Apps.
I'm looking to close that account, but I'd like to save some of the messages, preferably in Mail.app format. I'm looking at no more than 200 messages and, if I could only get those into Mail.app, I can preserve them in a folder "On my Mac."
I opened a standard gmail account, hoping to Import these Google Apps messages, from which they could be accessed in Mail 5.3, but gmail won't accept the Worldshare IMAP credentials. I've enabled POP on both accounts, but still no luck.
Any thoughts on how I might get this done?

It's posible the OID role Provisioning With OIM?

Hi experts,
I'm installing and configuring the OIM connector for OID. However I've found on the installation guide the next 'warnings':
- Reconciliation of roles is supported only for ODSEE and Novell eDirecotory target systems.
- Provisioning of roles is supported only for ODSEE and Novell eDirecotory target systems.
then my question is: how can I provision OID roles to any user using OIM??? If I can't do role provisioning to OID, I cant see so much utility for this connector.
My request its to provisioning roles that I've created on OID, using OIM interface.
Has anyone done this?

I have still one question about this. In the installation and configuration guide says:
- If you are using the default connector configuration, for every group in the target system, create a corresponding organizational unit (with the same group name) in Oracle Identity Manager. This ensures that all groups from the target system are reconciled into their newly created organizational units, respectively.
- You can also configure the connector to reconcile the groups under one organization.
Then, when I run the reconciliation of OID groups in OIM. I obtain one organization with one resource representing my OID group. Or, if I prefer, I obtaion one organization with many resource that represents all my OID groups. However, I dont find how to provision this resources to my OIM users, cause I need that one user be part of one o more groups. If I put the user in the organization that represent my OID group, how I can provision more groups?
Furthermore, the reconciliations of OID groups creates resources/organizations, but in my understending this no create OIM roles isn't?
I'm sorry for my ignorance. This maybe is a trivial question, but I hope you can clarify this concepts to me.

Hopefully someone can lend a helping hand. I am trying to provision to AD, but I am getting the following error:

I have imported all XML files and copied the necessary jar files to the xellerate\javatasks and xellerate\ext folders. Additionally, I fully configured the IT Resource (AD Server) and successfully compiled the adapter via Adapter Manager. FWIW, I tested my IT Resource settings in Softerra LDAP Browser successfully. I am NOT using any type of approval workflow. The failure message occured after I created an Xellerate User and tried to provision a new AD resource. The IT Resorce is using dc=happygolucky,dc=com as the root context (which means it should provision to cn=users,dc=happygolucky,dc=com) and I am not using SSL.
I am using JBoss 4.02, Windows Server 2003, and Oracle DB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think AD Server Cert to the Java keystore is required.
Anyway, besides that - I can tell you 1 problem. remaining name 'cn=Jeff Chang' is the problem area. Your remaining name should be something like cn=Jeff Chang, ou=WhateverOu,DC=HappyGoLucky,DC=com .
If you are able to add a user with the same credentials via LDAP Browser, this should work. I can even share a piece of code for doing the same:

GOOGLE APPS PROVISIONING TASKS FAILS.

We are using custom connector for googleapps.While am provsioning to googleapps some of the tasks are getting rejected like "create user" task. Also while trying to update first name ,lastname ,"firstname updated","lastname updated" tasks are being rejected. This is not always happening ,only sometimes it is getting rejected.when am trying to RETRY the task then it is being completed successfully.What i found in the resource history is :
Error Details
Setting task status... "com/google/gdata/data/appsforyourdomain/provisioning/UserEntry" does not correspond to a known Response Code. Using "UNKNOWN".
I am unable to trace the logs as it is not even triggering the java code in the adaptor.Is it like it is unable to find the dependent jars like appsforyourdomainclient jar,g-data-appsforyourdomain etc jars which are placed in domain home lib folder.for ex:/orasw/oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains/base_domain/lib location. If needed,i can provide the code also.
We are in UAT AND THIS IS A SHOW STOPPER FOR US TO GO TO PRODUCTION. SO PLEASE HELPME OUT.
How can i resolve this?

Applescript Studio app crashes with link error (dyld) image not found

I've built a small Applescript studio app that works fine on the development machine but when I run it on other machines it crashes with a dyld error, specifically:
Link (dyld) error:
Library not loaded: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ZeroLink.framework/Versions/A/ZeroLink

Does any one know why this happens and how I can fix it?

looks like you built the application in "Development" mode - switch the build style to "Deployment" and most probably things will be fine in the other machine.
