Applescript Studio app crashes with link error (dyld) image not found

I've built a small Applescript studio app that works fine on the development machine but when I run it on other machines it crashes with a dyld error, specifically:
Link (dyld) error:
Library not loaded: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ZeroLink.framework/Versions/A/ZeroLink

Does any one know why this happens and how I can fix it?

looks like you built the application in "Development" mode - switch the build style to "Deployment" and most probably things will be fine in the other machine.

Hello folks,
When i am trying to run a OLT scenario using localhost as VU Agent, i get the following message. Although using other VUAgents the test works fine.
"Request error : agent image not found on disk: empJAgent.exe"

Hello everyone,
I'm building my first Cocoa app (well, other than my "hello world"). I'm running into a strange problem when I try to build. The linker gives me the following error when I try to init a custom class (called 'RailsApp'):
Undefined symbols:
".objcclass_nameRailsApp", referenced from:
literal-pointer@_OBJC@__clsrefs@RailsApp in MainController.o
ld: symbol(s) not found
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Now, there is an import statement in the header file to the 'RailsApp' header file. I've tried moving this around, etc to no avail. I really don't know what else I should do.
If anyone can help a beginner it'd be greatly appreciated!

I know this question has been answered - but I thought this might help someone:
I had added the security framework via the method above (right click on frameworks > add existing frameworks...) but only applied it to my Main.app as a target.
I have a small bundled app which implements a 'request for admin password' when running a sudo command within my main app. I had to delete the security framework and add it again to apply it to the both the bundled app as well as my main app.
It's confusing as I hadn't realised it needed to be bound to both - nor in fact realised that the framework, when it exists isn't visible to both - but happy I've solved this problem. Hope this is useful to someone.

Outlook 2013 Mail Setup Add Account crashes with Rundll32 error and will not connect to Exchange in Windows 8.1

I got a new Acer laptop with Windows 8.1 over 3 weeks ago, and installed Office Professional Plus 2013. I have an Office365 E1 subscription, but this Office 2013 is not associated with the subscription.
When I go to setup any email account using the automatic mode (primary will be Exchange Online with my 365 account, but I've tested POP email accounts with the same result), the Mail Setup crashes once the email address and password is entered and Next is
pressed. This error message is displayed:
"Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
The step displayed as in process when the crash occurs is the "Searching for [email address] settings". The first step "Establishing network connection" is checked complete.
I've run an Office Repair, and there's no change. I've run a clean boot, and even uninstalled/reinstalled with the same error still appearing.
If I use the manual setup mode and input the server outlook.office365.com, both the Check Name function and the Next button result in the error message:
"The action cannot be completed. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." The folks in the Office365 support community have told me that Office365 ExchangeOnline
servers have to be configured with the auto-setup and cannot be setup manually.
I've done both a system refresh and a system reset, and I'm still getting the Rundll32 error. I tried to run a reset from a disk, but the laptop does not want to run it from the external DVD drive (giving error messages), so that doesn't appear
to be an option.
I've searched extensively, and there doesn't seem to be any existing threads where anything like this problem is discussed.
Can you offer any ideas or solutions?
After THREE WEEKS of troubleshooting this, and some significant delays in getting help from support, I'm really close to returning this laptop.
I need an answer on this ASAP to see if you've got an insights before I return the laptop for a new one.

IMPORTANT: I found the solution. Another user figured it out and posted the answer on another thread.
Please spread this around to all other Outlook support techs so they know to point people in the direction of the quick (though very obscure) fix to this problem.

Hp pavilion dv6 recovery system with win 7 dvd image not found

Hello everyone, I have a hp pavilion dv6 I going to restore the operating system win 7 that I previously saved in an image of the system in 2 DVDs. I need to restore the entire computer because I do not want to lose all installations made within a year , including software installations regularly purchased online which do not have the original CDs . I tried to go in :
1 - "Backup and Restore Computer"
2 - Control Panel and select the " Restore system settings or your computer "
3 - then " advanced recovery methods "
4 - next page select " Use a system image you created earlier to recover your computer "
5 - At this point it asks me to do a backup, but I do not care because the computer is pretty much with the factory settings as has just returned from assistance hp and after ignoring the message I restart the computer in recovery mode expecting to reinstall the system with the image .
After a series of steps at the time to reload the image from the second DVD that I had previously saved , the computer can not find even one image to be restored where am I wrong?

Photo Booth won't open ... crash log says "image not found"

I had a new hard drive installed on my MACBOOK. When i got it back, photo booth was not on my mac anymore.

and then because the "great Check Point VPN" software doesn't support Leopard I reinstalled Tiger (10.4) from supplied CD's

1) first, using Finder, locate your "photo booth" and rename it [or delete it]
2) using Os X tiger cd 1 find the "Install Bundled software only" icon
3) Pick "custom install", then expand the "Bundled Applications" until you see Photo Booth
4) click ALL of them off, except leave Photo Booth flagged [when I pick it, office 2004 TEST drive turns on too, unflag that too]
5) Press the Upgrade button [don't select easy install, as that will install EVERYTHING]
6) Photo Booth shows in your Dock and it works

I have a PUBLIC entry in SMLG and I have a valid entry in etc/services. The problem I think is with SMLG the PUBLIC entry does not have a green box under the status field. Can someone elaborate on this more?

Ensure that your host file contains three entries pointing to IP addrsss of Discovery System:
<IP ADDRESS>[tab] SAPDiscoverySystem<space>iwdfvm2160<space>owdfvm2160.wdf.sap.corp
This addresses the internal file names as well as SAPDiscoverySystem. This can also be accomplished with three entrie in your company DNS but many companies do not allow out-of-domain entries.
I will modify the instructions on Prerequisites page.

I am using Tobias Powalowski's 2008.10 archboot to install archlinux
everything seems fine, except with "setting password", and i skipped that.
after rebooting, grub comes up with an error 15: File not found
It appears that grub find /vmlinuz but not /kernel26.img..

- gnome-terminal (when clicking on menu)
- gnome-control-center (when choosing Users or Date & Time and some other tiles, choosing account in GOA)
- epiphany (when clicking on new tab button)

I did a little test:
- upgraded to xorg 1.14
- switched from catalyst to xf86-video-ati drive
Most of the errors dissappeared (GOA still crashes).
But now i can only see message tray using keyboard shortcut (super + m). I read that I need to move my mouse fast to the botton edge of my screen - does not work - instead it show up randomly when i moved mouse near the bottom edge.
I don't want to use the open source drivers (slow and laggy with multi monitor setup I'm using). I hope gnome devs will fix this bugs soon.
SOLUTION (to still use catalyst):
I found out that this is an Xorg 1.12 bug.

To solve this use patch from this bugreport to compile xorg 1.12
I used this aur packages:

Safari 7.0.6 crashes: Dyld Error Message: Symbol Not Found

After I did the latest MacOS update (10.9.5) Safari (7.0.6) no longer runs. I repaired permissions and also rebooted in safe mode so I could potentially remove any spurious plug-ins, but the last time I did this was with MaxOS 6 so I have no idea where to look in the current version.

If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

Excel crash with MSVBVM60 error

Hi
I have a problem with my input schedules, everytime I send data excel crash with an error in msvbvm60.dll.
I have checked that the version of msvbvm60 is the newest one and it is.
I havn't made any system changes in the past dayes and we have the error on at least 2 different PC's and on 2 different AppSets. It was working fine this morning.
The error occures when the dialogbox showing the send data result appear. The data are saved in the database.
Any suggestion on why and how to fix this problem is greatly appreaciated.
