Graph api - applications assigned to user

Hello,
I am working with azure active directory. What I am trying to do, is to check what applications are assigned to user. I am iterating through users but I can't see any properties to get this info. I have also tried to iterate through applications/service
principles but I still cant see who is assigned to what app/sp.

Graph API licence assignment failed due to a strange error

Hi, I'm looking for help in resolving quite strange issue on license assignment to a newly created user.
I use Graph API v.2013-11-08 (tried with API v.1.5 with the same result) calls like :
"https://graph.windows.net/{domain}/users?api-version=2013-11-08" + JSON body
"https://graph.windows.net/{tenant}/users/{userPrincipalName}/assignLicense?api-version=2013-11-08" + JSON body
to create new accounts and to assign licenses to it. While account is created successfully license assignment can't be done because of the next error:
Server response: {"odata.error":{"code":"Request_ResourceNotFound","message":{"lang":"en","value":"Resource '{userPrincipaName}/{or sometimes something like User_<alphanumeric String>}'
does not exist or one of its queried reference-property objects are not present."}}}
Actually this error is strange because:
a) the account exists on the moment of the license assignment call;
b) passed skuid exists and is valid;
c) the error appears only on production environment, meanwhile the same account (same URLs, same data, same license skuid) can be normally created on another environment;
d) the error appears only for one domain. If I do test for other domains it works on all environments. It means that the problem is not with the code (all the API calls are performed within Java Web App), but with something different that i can't find;
e) This error doesn't allow assign licenses to any users within one problematic domain using API calls, but they can be assigned to the same accounts in PowerShell.
Can you please advise where to look and/or what may cause such a problem?

Add external users to WAAD Tenant with Graph API

Hello,
is there a way to add an external user to my tenant in WAAD using Graph Api. In Azure Portal when I'm adding new user there are several options (Hotmail acc, User from existing AD) and those are the actions I'm looking for in Graph Api. Is there any way
to do that programmatically?

I am not sure you could use Graph Api to add external user.
The API only provides operations on objects inside the AD of your tenant.

Graph API Directory Extension (User)

I have registered a Directory Extension on User Object using Graph API. But I'm wondering where I can see this new extension visible on the User in Azure Management Portal or in Office365 Admin Portal??.
And how can it be exposed on Application Attributes for WAAD SSO /SAML assertions???

The idea is, we have on-premise directory with bunch of custom schema (classes and attributes). we are considering to move on to the WAAD as our cloud core directory. and then to store information from custom attributes that we currently have on on-premise
needs to be copied over to the cloud directory namely WAAD.
furthermore, these attributes(extension properties) would help us building claim rules and would help us making dynamic group membership rules in WAAD.
Graph API is exposing very limited attributes set from the WAAD.. so its not enough for our use. On the other hand we know can use Azure AD-Connect. but then its exposing lots of WAAD attributes but most of them are not exposed from Azure or
O36 UI portals anyway and besides we do not have any directory strategy which would focus on directory on-prem once we have moved out completely.
May be we are first comers in this thinking, but i guess this would happen soon or later!

Error while assigning an application to a user

Hi All,
I am new to Oracle Database Lite. I have created a new user and i want to assign a Sample application which comes while installing the mobile server. But while assigning the Sample application to a user through the application page, i got "ERROR: VIRTUAL PATH IS NULL" and when i wanted to assign the Sample application to a user through the user page, i got "Error in executing " Save application ":oracle.lite.web.resource.ResourceException: CONS-10050: Rollback failure: java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Connection reset by peer: socket write error "
So can any one help me how to resolve this error so that i can assign the application to a user?
Any help is welcomed.

Thanks Scott. I've also been looking for a pattern of consistency that would point to the cause of the problem but have been unable to find one. I was hoping that others may have experienced the same error and could help to shed some light here.
I dug around some and found that the wwv_flows_alias_idx constraint is a unique index on the alias and security_group_id columns of wwv_flows. My application has an alias that is the same for all installations so I thought that somehow a previously used value for security_group_id was being generated causing the unique constraint violation. Can you tell me how that value is generated during the install process? Is it some sort of hashing function?

Write to application log in user exit

Hi all,
I want to write a collection messages to the application log in user exit EBIA0003, user exit for transaction EA00, but I only can write one if I just use
message eYYY(x) with lv_msgv1
                                  lv_msgv2
                                  lv_msgv3
                                  lv_msgv4.
It will be placed in the log after the exit.
I've already tried with the BAL functions, but it doesn't seem to work or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Is there a way to write a collection of messages in to the application log in this user exit?

Hi Pieter,
you can do using BAL functions if the lop is already opened. Try to find out what parameters the transaction uses for LOG access (handle!). Do the calls in the exit accordingly.
We append messages to the current log using FUNCTION 'BAL_LOG_MSG_ADD'. If the log handle is not available, you might access it using dynamic assign like
ASSIGN ('(<program>)<field>') TO <field> .

Assign multiple users to a single role?

I have a process where I need to assign multiple users to a given role. In this case, I want one of the users to 'win', and take ownership of the process step. (Imagine the situation where one user is the primary processor, the other is a backup; if the primary is out of the office, i want the secondary to have the ability to pick up the request).
I've tried to assign multiple users to the same process role as follows:
rtm.addRuntimeDefinedUserToRole(prInstance, roleName, user, userContext );
but the process is only assigned to a single user - from my testing, it seems to be assigned to the first user specified using the above api call.
Is there a way to do this programatically?

I am using Visual composer as my UI. But with looks like i am not able to pass a structure from VC so i can map it to "Assign Users to Process role" CO.
Per my understanding I need to write a program using GPI API which populates the User_List structure of the above CO. But after that i am not sure how to use this CO. Can anyone give me detailed instructions on how to use the "Assign Users to Process role" CO to assign multiple users to the role dynamicallly?

Filter Criteria with where condition in graph api query

The differential query syntax does not allow for a filter other than $filter=isof(<directory entry type>). You are not able to use any other query string for this type of query. Please see the following MSDN link for details:

The initiator of my GP passes some data to a web service. The web service determines on the basis of the data the user of the next step in my GP. Is this possible? And how can i achieve this scenario?

Hi Matthias,
Unfortunately, the GP external service callable object only works for RFCs. You cannot use it for a Web Service.
Therefore, I would propose the following solution. You can import a Web Service as an external service in CAF (using the Composite Application Services perspective in the Developer Studio). Then you can use the external service from a CAF application service. The application service can already be exposed as a callable object, and you can take the user ID as an output. Then you can use the predefined callable object Assign Users to Process Role, and map the application service output to its input. To enable the assignment of the relevant user to the next action, you must consolidate the role created for the Assign Users action to the role created for the next action, and set the type of the new role to Runtime Defined. Then, at runtime the Assign Users object is executed in the background and the user is assigned to execute the next action.

Live video application for multiple users with RTMFP

We developed a live video application in Flex that uses RTMP. In one session up to 5 users are able to publish their stream and up to 20 users can join a group. For saving bandwidth costs and making use of lower latency with UDP we check RTMFP. From reading the documentation it seems that RTMFP multicast is the way to go.
Our frist results and additional research surfaced two 2 issues:
- Streams have a live delay (which seems to be multicastwindowduration + buffertime) that takes up to 30 sec to disappear but seems to increase again
- The application allows one user to change the size of a published video (camera.setMode). This causes a freeze with RTMFP for the publisher and all subscribers. Changing the size several times can cause to make the video work again for the publisher and subscriber (some bugs are already reported here)
For solving these issues I wonder:
1.) Is RTMFP multicast able to deliver a low latency solution that is needed for face to face v/a communication?
2.) if yes - are there any settings suggested by Adobe for the RTMFP NetStream multicast properties (like multicastwindowduration property) and if not can you give me some hints what would work for reduce the latency that face to face communication gets acceptable?
3.) How to deal with the setMode issue - does this happen because I misconfigured RTMFP or is this API not supported? Will unpublish and publish solve the issue (what api series do I need to use to do so?)

1) any practical use of P2P multicast will have a delay measured in seconds. it shouldn't go to 30 seconds unless you have a large NetStream.bufferTime.
2) i strongly recommend against changing the multicast stream parameters. they all interact with each other. decreasing the window duration will decrease the effective reliability of the stream, by reducing the amount of time to receive all of the fragments of the stream as they pass through the P2P group -- especially when people join or leave the group, which can disrupt the low latency "push" trees that are constructed in the group.
3) you should be able to change the encoding parameters on the fly without a major disruption. are you using H.264 or Sorenson Spark? it's possible that your camera doesn't like to have its capture size changed and it is freezing temporarily. i'm not having any trouble changing the capture size with my camera (and using H.264). i recall there being some issue with changing the frames-per-second on the fly (at least some time ago, and i don't remember what the issue is) -- there was enough of an issue that i disabled it in my little app while actively publishing.

In order to set the employee correctly, don't use the Contacts object, but instead use the Activity object.
In the Activity object there's a property called HandledByEmployee.
Note that in order to create an Activity object, you should use the ActivitiesService object.

The trivial way will be to do it sequencial one by one, but i dont want to make 20 different calls to the server.

Service Desk: Support Team Assignment from User not in a Support Team

I am working on configuring the Service Desk and all has been going pretty well until now.
The issue surrounds automatic assignment of Support Teams when a ticket is submitted.
In cases where people assigned to the org structure (PPOMA_CRM) submits a ticket, the support team is assigned correctly (via Rule 13200137 in PFAC_RESPO), but when an end user submits a ticket, it doesn't assign a Support Team.
I have not assigned end users to the org structure because they are not part of the support team and have been using PPOMA_CRM to only establish the support org structure.
So the question is what am I missing to configure SolMan 7.0 so tickets from general users are assigned to the appropriate support team?

It sounds like you did not maintain the identification tab with the ibase for the end users. You have to list every system a user can create tickets for on their identification tab in the General Partner role.
It should look something like:
<system ID> <identification number> <client> <userid>
DEV 1234567890 100 BSMITH
QAS 1234567890 100 BSMITH
PRD 1234567890 300 BSMITH
the very left field's value should be CRM001 for all three.
You do not have to fill out the employee role for end users for the functionality you desire.

Move an application from the "users" folder to the "applications" folder

I downloaded 2 adobe trial applications to the "users" section of my drive due to the fact that I misunderstood the directions - I have not launched them as yet. Is it Possible to MOVE/DRAG the 2 applications to "applications" folder? I am running MAC OSX10.7 on a MAC MINI . As these were really large downloads, I am crossing my fingers that this may work. Thank you.

While that DOES work, this is still an incredibly annoying problem. I have never noticed this as a problem before (although I can't even really remember the last time I moved something out of my Applications folder). I would really like it if this would just stop happening and allow me to just move applications wherever I want by clicking and dragging. This seems like some type of feature that could be turned off. I even noticed that when I try to drag something out of the Applications folder, my cursor turns into the alias arrow, indicating that it will only make an alias of the application, and not actually move it. Is there any way to prevent this from happening to begin with, rather than just working around it?
