Graphical mess-mapping help needed: select single segment from many

Hi All,
I am sending a standard PO IDOC from R/3 and converting it into a file before sending to 3rd party.
The IDOC used is ORDERS.
In this IDOC segment E1EDK14 gets repeated in R/3 and I want to use the value of 009th occurance (E1EDK14 009) to map my values.
When I look at XML, it looks as follows

I need to get the ORGID value of 009th segment( i.e when QUALF (above) has value '009'.
I tried to put a simple if condition in mapping (if qualf = 009-->then get ORGID), but it does not work.
Can you help.

Mapping Help Needed

Hello Gurus,
I need help in message mapping. I have a requirement as below.
E1EDP01 segment contains many E1EDP19 segments
E1EDP19 segment contains QUALF, KTEXT and many other fields.
in the output field, for every QUALF = "002", I need the value of KTEXT of the same E1EDP19.
the output group is repeated per E1EDP01 (this is working fine)
The problem is that KTEXT segment is not coming in every E1EDP19, so the result is erratic.
the present code looks like
Qualf (context E1EDP01)--
                            Equals --
               const-002 --           IF   --Outputfield
           KTEXT(context E1EDP01)--
I tried many other things as well, but result is not as expected
pls help.

I am not sure why it is not working in your case. I developed same mapping and it is giving correct result.

Target field gets value as "SDN".
Is this your requirement?
Answers to your questions:
1) the context cannot be E1EDP19, cos there are multiple P19 segments in P01 and it should be done on P01, as the output is based on per P01.
Even if you are creating target based on line item level (E1EDP01), every E1EDP01 segment will have E1EDP19 and KTEXT with QUALF = 002. Also KTEXT of same E1EDP01 should go to target. Hence in your mapping context should be at E1EDP19 level.
2) the Qualf comes more number of times than KTEXT, so they are not "matching" at context level.
Map with default function will take care of this.

The error is coming because you have done one spelling mistake. In the declaration you have decalred 'l_ennda' but in the select statement you are using 'l_endda'.
Kindly copy the below select statement:
SELECT single endda stat2
          FROM pa0000
          INTO (l_ennda, emp_status)
          WHERE stat2 = 0
          AND begda LE so_date-high
         AND endda GE so_date-low.

Help needed on retreving QID from APQI table

Hi Gurus,
I am using RBIBGL00 standard batch program in my report to create a batch session and in turn execute it.
Batch session is getting created and it is getting executed as well.
Issue:
Now i need to retreive the batch information (succes/failure msgs) from the log
so i am writing code as:
select QID to display session log
SELECT SINGLE qid
    INTO gv_qid
    FROM apqi
    WHERE datatyp = gc_bdc
      AND groupid = p_group
      AND progid = sy-repid
      AND userid = sy-uname
      AND credate = sy-datum.
But qid is not getting fetched.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

I am using RFBIBL00 program in my report in 2 modes,
to Create Batch session and
in Call Transaction mode as well. ( is my requirement)
1. In Call Transaction mode, i am passing the option xlog, so that after documents are loaded, a log is displayed.
2. In Batch Session mode, batch is getting created and to execute that batch, i am calling another program RSBDCSUB.
Batch is getting executed and result gets exported to memory.
I am fetching the results from memory using function module
"LIST_FROM_MEMORY"
Then converting that to ASCI fromat using function module
"LIST_TO_ASCI"
Now i need to display the session log
so i am retreving session data (QID) from APQI table.
Please let me know if there are any alternatives.

What device is upstream from the router? If you have a modem that acts as a router as well, then you might have a double NAT problem. It's a well documented problem and can usually be solved by bridging the modem or configuring the router to work as a switch only.

You can use the analytic ROW_NUMBER function.
I don't have a copy of your table, so I'll use scott.emp to illustrate. In scott.emp, there may be multiple rows for a single job. To display just 1 row per job, the row with the most recent hiredate:
WITH got_r_num AS
     SELECT empno, job, deptno, hiredate -- Or whatever columns you want
     ,       ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY job

What results do you want in case of ties? Depending on your requirements, you may want to add tie-breaking expressions to the analytic ORDER BY clause, and/or use RANK instead of ROW_NUMBER.

How do I create a Search Help which selects some rows from a table?

Well, I'm trying to be specific.
I have a parameter with a search help that shows columns BUKRS and BUTXT for ALL rows form the table T001. What I need is restrict the search help to show only three Values: BUKRS = 1000 BUKRS = 2000 BUKRS = 3000. This is like a search help with a SELECT sentence. How do I do it?

you can go through thomas sir's suggestion. But my suggestion is If you are working in a custom Report , dont change it at Table level or Domail Level., Instead, use Function Module for Custom F4 help.,

Help needed recovering project files from trash

Hi everyone, I am hoping that someone will be able to help me. I just did something stupid!
I created two new projects in iMovie this morning and then needed to clear out the mac in order to speed up a clip as I was getting the warning that my disk was full. So I copied a lot of files from iPhoto onto a hard drive and then moved them to trash including the raw files that I was using for these projects. (I got a bit carried away!) Yes the video files were in iPhoto and not iMovie Events as the last time I uploaded files iMovie was not playing the game.
The files are still on the mac as I have not emptied the trash and they are also backed up on an external drive connected to the mac, but I have emptied the iPhoto trash. I tried importing the files back into iPhoto from trash and only got so far before the disk full message came up again. But even those ones that I did manage to re import are not showing up.
Is there any way that I can continue with these projects or have I effectively ruined them? Do I need to start again from scratch? I hope not as they took me hours and hours to create and had pretty much finished them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :-)

Ringtone help needed -- Galaxy 3 - downloaded from VZN and cannot find

Downloaded Ringtones for Samsung Galaxy 3 cannot find on phone. How do I find them and activate them. Did come thru as attachments in a TXT msg from Verizon

FIGURED IT OUT! Not easy to figure out at first. Also, I see where Verizon's ringtones expire after 12 months, so you may want to manager your finances accordinly...
******Essentially you need to copy it from your dowload folder to a ringtone folder. Then set it as your setting for sound.****
Go to Apps icon --> Choose MY FILES folder icon
Select file folder called "SDCARD0"...
Select file folder called "DOWNLOAD FOLDER"...the ringtones from Verizon were downloaded in here. Scroll down to the to your ringtone... it will be listed by the name of the ringtone song.
Select the ringtone you downloaded. You'll have to complete action using Google Play Music or Sound Player. I chose Soundplayer just once. The song will play. You can pause it.
Hit the SETTINGS KEY on bottom left of you phone on that next to the raised button.
Select SET AS and chose to save it in the PHONE RINGTONE.
To activate it,
Hit the SETTINGS KEY on bottom left of you phone on that next to the raised button.
Select SETTINGS
Select SOUND
Select DEVICE RINGTONE and it will be in the folder!

Help needed to insert data from different database

I have a requirement where i need to fetch data from different database through database link .Depending on user request , the dblink needs to change and data from respective table from mentioned datbase has to be fetched and populated .Could i use execute immediate for this, would dblink work within execute immediate .If not , could pls let me know any other approach .

What does "the dblink needs to change" mean?
Are you trying to dynamically create database links at run-time? Or to point a query at one of a set of pre-established database links at run-time?
Are you sure that you really need to get the data from the remote database in real time? Could you use materialized views/ Streams/ etc to move the data from the remote databases to the local database? That tends to be far more robust.

Can we created a single role(not composite) from many roles?? i.e. all the authorisations of n roles being copied into a single new role??

You can create a composite role in PFCG and just include the other roles within it. But there is no functionality to merge roles into one another.

Time mapping help needed

I have used the time mapping feature to speed up/fast-forward a segment of my video. It looks just the way that I want it to. However, after the fast-forward segment is over, the audio does not work for the normal-speed section afterwards. Any suggestions?

The audio is going to need special considerations in this Time Remapping workflow. This is one way to get around certain feature limitations to cooridinate audio with the video clip to which fast motion has been applied to a portion of it.
Remember, in the fast motion area of the video clip, frames have been removed by the technique in order to apply the fast motion effect, and duration is shortened in the process. So, when you are finished in the Time Remapping workspace and returned to the Premiere Elements Expert workspace, that fast motion video is going to have a shorter duration than the original. And, your audio track will be at the original duration of the file.
1. In the Premiere Elements Expert workspace, unlink the audio from the video (to do that, right click the file on the Timeline and select Unlink Audio and Video).
2. Identify the segment of the video to which fast motion is to be applied with Time Remapping. Note the times, example, segment 00;00;24;22 to 00;00;45;07.
3. With the Scissors Tool (using tab on Timeline Indicator stem or shortcut Ctrl+K), cut the audio at 00;00;24;22 and at 00;00;45;07, giving you 3 audio segments.
4. Select the Timeline video, go to Tools Menu/Time Remapping, and open the Time Remapping workspace.
5. In the Time Remapping workspace, establish your Fast Motion Time Zone using the times of 00;00;24;22 to 00;00;45;07 for the Time Zone. Click Done when finished.
6. When you are back in the Premiere Elements Expert workpace
a. You will work on your 3 segments of audio.
b. Leave the first audio where it is. Move the second audio down from Audio 1 to Narration or Soundtrack, just to get it out of the way.
c. Take the third audio and move it to the left so that its end matches up with the end of the fast motion video clip above it.
d. Then adjust the duration of the second clip which has been out of the way on another audio track.
Two different effects can be produced here...the second audio will be placed on Audio 1 directly below the fast motion portion of the video clip AFTER its duration has been decreased while it is still in its "out of the way" location.
One way...with the mouse cursor drag the end of the audio to the left to decrease its duration to fit the gap between first and third audio. Move the duration shortened second audio up to fit the gap between the first and third audio on Audio 1.
Second way...determine the duration of the gap between the first and third audio, and use Time Stretch to decrease the duration of the second clip so that it fits the gap between the first and third audio. Move the duration shortened second audio up to fit the gap between the first and third audio on Audio 1.
Please check out the details and see if any of that works for you. I have road tested it. Please let me know if you need clarification on the details. I will provide screenshots if necessary.

Value Mapping -- Help needed.

I have 2 fields in my source structure and based on these two fields,i need to fetch 8 field values from a table to map into idoc control record.
The table might be in SAP or in Legacy
If it is a Ztable in SAP, how can I achieve this?
If it is in Legacay , how can I achieve this?
My client told us to do this through Value mapping?
Please help me in acheiving this.

Use the RFC Lookup API to call an RFC from the mapping and get the values from the Table in the R3 system . Look into this document by Michal to understand RFC lookup,
