Help needed on retreving QID from APQI table

Hi Gurus,
I am using RBIBGL00 standard batch program in my report to create a batch session and in turn execute it.
Batch session is getting created and it is getting executed as well.
Issue:
Now i need to retreive the batch information (succes/failure msgs) from the log
so i am writing code as:
select QID to display session log
SELECT SINGLE qid
    INTO gv_qid
    FROM apqi
    WHERE datatyp = gc_bdc
      AND groupid = p_group
      AND progid = sy-repid
      AND userid = sy-uname
      AND credate = sy-datum.
But qid is not getting fetched.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

I am using RFBIBL00 program in my report in 2 modes,
to Create Batch session and
in Call Transaction mode as well. ( is my requirement)
1. In Call Transaction mode, i am passing the option xlog, so that after documents are loaded, a log is displayed.
2. In Batch Session mode, batch is getting created and to execute that batch, i am calling another program RSBDCSUB.
Batch is getting executed and result gets exported to memory.
I am fetching the results from memory using function module
"LIST_FROM_MEMORY"
Then converting that to ASCI fromat using function module
"LIST_TO_ASCI"
Now i need to display the session log
so i am retreving session data (QID) from APQI table.
Please let me know if there are any alternatives.

my part is to find a way to extract the data from PCD tables for creating

i have selected the following tables for the data extraction
WCR_USERSTAT,WCR_WEBCONTENTSTAT,WCR_USERFIRSTLOGON,
WCR_USERPAGEUSAGE.
My questions are
1.Did i select the Exact PCD tables?
2.Can i use UME api for accessing the data from those tables?
3.can i use the data extracted from PCD tables in JSPdynpage or
webdynpro apps?
4.can i Querry the PCD tables from JSPDynpage or Webdynpro
Please help me in finding a solution for this

I need to copy data from a table in one database (db1) to another table in another database (db2).
I am not sure if the table exists in db2,,,if it doesnot it needs to be created as well data also needs to be inserted...
How am I supposed to this using sql statements..?
I shall be happy if it is explained SQL also...

How many rows does the table contains? There are manyway you can achieve this.
1. export and import.
2. create a dblink between two databases and use create table as select, if structure doesnot exists in other database, if structure exists, use, insert into table select command.
example:
create a dblink in db2 database for db1 database.
create table table1 as select * from table1@db1 -- when there is no structure present
-- you need to add constraints manually, if any exists.
insert into table1 select * from table1@db1 -- when there is structure present.
If the table contains large volume of data, I would suggest you to use export and import.

Need assistance searching records from multiple tables - Please Help!

Hi, I've been trying to solve this problem for several weeks now, and I have exhausted all of my knowledge and experience. I need help, and I hope someone here can give me some direction.
I am using VB 2008, and the CR that comes bundled with VS 2008 Pro. My database is a SQL Server 2005 CE v3.5 (a *.sdf file). I am connecting to the database through a dataset, and I am displaying the report in a CrystalReportViewer.
My dataset consistes of two tables:
1) tblCustomers which has a primary key "CustID", and contains only customer contact and personal information.
2) tblDateVisited which has a primary key of "VisitID", but it also has a column titled "CustID". Basically, every time a customer visits the business, details of that visit are recorded in tblDateVisited, and that record is associated with the customer by their CustID.
Here's what I'm trying to accomplish: I want to be able to display only Customer records when the customer has visited and that visit matches certain criteria. Right now, I am trying to match visits from the "tblVisitDate.PlayerType" column. If the customer has ever had a visit where they matched a particular player type, I want to see those customer records.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, though. I can search a dataset if I am only querying one table and pulling records from that table. However, whenever I try to add a second table and perform queries on that table to get records from the first table, I can't return any records.
If it helps, I am trying to use one CrystalReportViewer to display multiple reports (user choice) and here's how I'm loading the report into the viewer:

Any attempt to assist me with this will be greatly appreciated, successful or not.

No, I am connected via ADO.NET. I don't think SQL CE can connect through ODBC (or if it can, I haven't been able to figure out how, yet). So this isn't a stored procedure.
When I examine the link, I can only choose an Inner Join or a Left Outer Join. Right Outer and Full Outer are not available. Could this be a problem with the dataset I'm using?
Could you explain what you mean by display all of the records and then choose the selection criteria?

Need to fetch value from a table based on data range

I was hoping that the community could give me a hand with this little puzzle I got.
I am currently creating a Time Dimension for a data wharehouse, and I have the requirement to populate a column named SEASON (e.g: Summer, Winter, Spring, Autumn) for each date row. So for the 20/Dec/2013, the Season column must say Winter.
Here is now my Time Dimension table looks like, without the Season information (which I yet have to load):

As you can see, Season wasn't populated. Since the solstices and equinoxes vary for each year, I can't just say that Summer start at a given date (e.g: 21 of June) because one year it could be the 19/Jun, another the 22/Jun, etc. So in order to solve this problem, I have a table named Season which defines the START and END dates for the seasons:

i need to delete rows pertaining to perticular table and all the child
tables basing on certain code.i need to write a procedure to which i will
pass the table name and code..
like del_info(tab_name,code)
example:
suppose if i call as del_info(clients,760)
the procedure should delete all info reg. code 760
and the table clients and also all the child records of this table
perting to code 760.
simply .. i need to delete from the table passed and also
all the child tables down the heirarchy regarding certain code ...

I need some serious help if someone can spare the time. I am completely new to XML and don't really understand it yet but I need to be able to load an XML file (example) below.

</BookCollections>I have read through the documentation I could find but I can't get it to work. I had a simple procedure which loaded the text file as a CLOB and then inserted it into an XMLTYPE column but even that wouldn't work. I would rather it loaded as above in seperate columns.

I need to make an import from a custom Payroll application into GL. Everything would be working just fine, if I could use the JE_LINE_NUM from GL_INTERFACE table. In the tech documentation it was stated that this column is not used in version 10. Nothing stated about 11.03 or 11i
If this doesn't work, any ideea how could I manage the journal detail line number the transaction is imported?

If I interpreted your requirements correctly, you wish to supply the JE_LINE_NUM in the GL_INTERFACE table.
Unfortunately, you cannot do so. The GL_INTERFACE.JE_LINE_NUM column must be NULL for Journal Import to function correctly. This is mentioned in the User's Guide. Since the grouping of lines into batches and headers is done dynamically by journal import, it is not possible to support a user-specified journal line number. This will cause duplicates or gaps.
This is true for all GL releases.

Help needed recovering project files from trash

Hi everyone, I am hoping that someone will be able to help me. I just did something stupid!
I created two new projects in iMovie this morning and then needed to clear out the mac in order to speed up a clip as I was getting the warning that my disk was full. So I copied a lot of files from iPhoto onto a hard drive and then moved them to trash including the raw files that I was using for these projects. (I got a bit carried away!) Yes the video files were in iPhoto and not iMovie Events as the last time I uploaded files iMovie was not playing the game.
The files are still on the mac as I have not emptied the trash and they are also backed up on an external drive connected to the mac, but I have emptied the iPhoto trash. I tried importing the files back into iPhoto from trash and only got so far before the disk full message came up again. But even those ones that I did manage to re import are not showing up.
Is there any way that I can continue with these projects or have I effectively ruined them? Do I need to start again from scratch? I hope not as they took me hours and hours to create and had pretty much finished them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :-)

Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
On the set-up tab change the MTU Size to 1365 and click Save Settings...
Click on "Administration" tab and disable the option UPnP and click Save Settings...
Click on "Applications and Gaming" tab and then click on "Port Range Forwarding" subtab...
1) On the first line in Application box type in ABC, in the start box type in 53 and End box type in 3074, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box, click Save Settings once done...
2) Once you return to the set up page click on the Security tab and uncheck Block Anonymous Internet Requests and click on Save Settings...
3)Click on the Status tab and take note of DNS1 and DNS2 Addresses...
4) Goto the XBox Network Settings and IP Address Settings and select manual IP Settings and assign the following on your Xbox IP Address :- 192.168.1.20, Subnet Mask :- 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway :- 192.168.1.1...

What device is upstream from the router? If you have a modem that acts as a router as well, then you might have a double NAT problem. It's a well documented problem and can usually be solved by bridging the modem or configuring the router to work as a switch only.

Problem retreving data from cluster table

Iam facing a problem while retreving data from a cluster table..

          where knumv in s_agnm.
In s_agnm i have 8 entries ie: iam giving manually 8 entries in s_sgnm-low.
If i do the above way iam getting exactly the 82 entries which i have in KONV table.. This is perfect..
But when iam using for all entries iam getting only 58 records from the KONV table..
ie :
    SELECT KNUMV
           KPOSN
           KRECH
           KAWRT
           KBETR
           WAERS
           WAERS
           KPEIN
           KMEIN
           KWERT
           FROM KONV
           INTO TABLE ITAB1
           FOR ALL ENTRIES IN ITAB

Here F1 is the field which is same as S_SGNM as above and it also contains same number of records as above
Now when iam running the 2nd select statment iam getting only 58 entries ... instead it should get 82 entries as above...
Can any one tell me how to correct..

Initially for s_sgnm which contains 8 values , for those 8 values iam getting 82 records it table gt_tybh. But later when iam using for all entries iam not getting those 82 records in the 2nd select statment in the internal table gt_konv.
Why is this happening...

Help needed to insert data from different database

Hi ,
I have a requirement where i need to fetch data from different database through database link .Depending on user request , the dblink needs to change and data from respective table from mentioned datbase has to be fetched and populated .Could i use execute immediate for this, would dblink work within execute immediate .If not , could pls let me know any other approach .

What does "the dblink needs to change" mean?
Are you trying to dynamically create database links at run-time? Or to point a query at one of a set of pre-established database links at run-time?
Are you sure that you really need to get the data from the remote database in real time? Could you use materialized views/ Streams/ etc to move the data from the remote databases to the local database? That tends to be far more robust.
