Graphs not rendered in firefox

Graphs are not rendered in firefox though firefox has native SVG support. Also tried using Adobe plug-in with this workaround (check here - http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/windows-all.html#AdobeSVG). It requires installing latest version of Adobe's SVG viewer 6.0 with Firefox. It showed up the text on the graphs, but not the graph.

from my point of view, FF can sometimes find itself (through certain profiles) in problems.
So the best way to get out that situation is to uninstall FF (check that "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" is empty, or doesn't exist) and phisically REMOVE all profiles entry in user profile (C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla and C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox)
Then uninstall SVG plugin (it should be in Control panel/add remove app).
So after that try to reinstall FF (2.0.2 is prefferred version now) and SVG from Adobe (current is 3.03 version) and all should work cool and smoothly.
We found on some users PC that upgrading-downgrading versions as well as "transporting" profiles under curious circumstances may result in inappropriate profile and...all went wrong.

  • Graphs not rendering in IE 7.0 but perfectly shown in Firefox after SSL

    Hi All,
    I am facing a problem.
    I have two instances
    1) Stage instance - SSO wired but not SSL verified.
    Reports + Graphs are rendered properly in IE 7.0 and firefox
    For deployment from stage to production, we copied Repository and the web catalog folder.
    Our production instance is new one and there has been no earlier deployment
    2) Production Instance - SSO + SSL enabled.
    Reports + Graphs are rendered properly in Firefox but not in IE.
    I have imported the certificate in IE but still it does not show any Graphs.
    Is this issue with SSL implementation or missing Flash Plug ins.
    Your help and suggestions will be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    (S.Prashant)

    Yes, its working, but you must change settings in Internet Explorer.
    Do the following:
    1. Go to Tools->Internet optins
    2. choose Security tab
    3. choose Local intranet
    4. add sites (www adress) of your CRM portal
    5. confirm the settings and log again in PCUI CRM
    in IE6 it was enough if you added CRM portal address under Trusted sites, but in IE7 you must add this adress to Local sites and from Trusted sites will be removed.

  • Graph not rendering at refresh

    Hi everyone,
    I have a problem with a graph (a pie graph) I created with datacontrols: When I load a page, I'm able to see it, but when I change of page and come back, it doesn't appear. The usual message "Fetching data..." appears like always, but the graph is not displayed. This problem is really strange because it is always okay on the first load. I have checked the visibility attributes, but I didn't find anything. When I reload the page (F5) on the page when the data is displayed correctly, it's okay, but on page change, even if I reload with (F5), it is not rendering the pie graph. The other components render correctly.

    Hi Navaneetha,
    there is my code for the pie:
    <af:panelAccordion id="pa1" styleClass="AFStretchWidth">
    <af:showDetailItem text="showDetailItem 1" id="sdi2">
    <dvt:pieGraph id="pieGraph1"
    value="#{bindings.MomEmployeeView1.graphModel}"
    subType="PIE" threeDEffect="true"
    shortDesc="salary">
    <dvt:background>
    <dvt:specialEffects/>
    </dvt:background>
    <dvt:graphPieFrame/>
    <dvt:seriesSet>
    <dvt:series/>
    </dvt:seriesSet>
    <dvt:sliceLabel/>
    <dvt:pieLabel rendered="true"
    text="#{portalBundle.SALARY}"/>
    <dvt:legendArea/>
    </dvt:pieGraph>
    </af:showDetailItem>
    </af:panelAccordion>
    I tried to change the imageFormat to all the different formats, and it didn't work. It's always rendering correctly the first time, it's only when I change page and come back that it doesn't render.

  • Graphs not rendering properly

    I am using Discoverer 4i with Oracle Applications 11i

  • "Upload" Button not rendering in firefox for multiple file upload

    This is driving me nuts. The "Upload" Flash button is not appearing in one of my apps in firefox only. The even weirder thing is I have another app which it does work. I've tried copying the includes folder for the app that works over to the one that doesn't. Deleting the includes and doing a basic test dynamic form and then adding the multiple upload beahviour.
    When i test it, the "upload" button simple isn't there. any one else run into this?

    OK, sorry, i guess it was a firefox cache issue. I right clicked on the window for the upload and hit "reload". The "upload" flash button now appears.
    man, that was driving me nuts.

  • Graphs not rendering when reports deployed to Report Server

    I'll make this short...
    I have several reports that contain graphs that preview just fine in Visual Studio but when I run them via our report server they don't display anything.
    Has anyone encountered this before? If so, how did you resolve it?

    Hi Northwester,
    According to your description, there are several reports that contain graphs, when you preview the reports in Visual Studio, the graphs can be displayed. After you deployed the reports, the graphs could not be displayed when you preview the reports.
    To troubleshoot the problem, please refer to the following steps:
    The issue may be relevant to compatibility of browser, please use different browser to check whether the issue persists.
    If you are using embedded image of jpg type, please change the extension of the image to png.
    In order to use an external image in another folder, for example “Resources” folder, we need to deploy the image to the “Resources” folder at first, and then specify the image value in the report to the full path of the image URL.
    If you want to use an image file and the file cannot be accessed through Anonymous access, you can configure the unattended report processing account and grant the account permission to access the file.
    Reference:
    Adding Images to a Report
    Configure the Unattended Execution Account (SSRS Configuration Manager)
    If the problem remain unresolved, i would appreciate it if you could provide steps you add the graphs to report and screenshot of the report, it will help us move more quickly toward a solution.
    Thanks,
    Wendy Fu

  • PDF not rendering right in firefox

    I have a PDF file I created on my website and noticed that in FF it is not rendering the images correctly (specifically the background image) The file renders fine in IE and Chrome but not in FF, which produces a lot of odd lines in some images and the background. I have had several people check this for me and they have the same problem, the PDF will just not show correctly in Firefox, even one person that tried it, FF will not show any pictures for her on the PDF. Did not know where to post this, as it is not really a question but an observation.
    Shy

    I am sure this is helpful for those that are computer savvy like myself, but most readers of my PDF newsletter on my site are not. So it will not help them much, heck I spent 10 mins. in chat last night explaining to them what a URL is, most still did not understand. I will pass the info on anyway just in case, telling them this is only a problem if they are a FF user, or that they can use IE or Chrome if they like so it renders correctly.
    Thank you
    <blockquote>
    Hey Shyannes,
    It is rendering differently because IE uses the Adobe reader plugin to display PDF's and Chrome uses a custom PDF viewer. Firefox also has a custom PDF viewer (different than both IE & Chrome).
    Firefox users can view the PDF using Adobe reader by following these steps:
    #Click on the Download button (the one to the right of the print button).
    # Change it from Save file to Open with: '''Adobe Reader'''
    #Click OK.
    Hope that helps.

  • Server Side Includes not rendering correctly in Firefox with Layers

    Hi
    The server side includes are not correctly rendering with layers in firefox. From my site here:-
    http://www.osteriastecca.com/index.php
    the home_page.php content renders above a layer on the index.php page. Initially I thought this might be a Flash layer issue but the wmode is set correctly to transparent and it works fine with a normal ssi. It also works fine in Firefox without a server side include as you can see here:-
    http://www.osteriastecca.com/index_old.php
    Works fine in IE and Safari, but not Firefox.
    How can this be rectified?
    Regards
    Glennyboy

    What testing server setup do you have? Are you using something like WAMP?
    What do you see on screen which tells you the SSIs are not rendering? Any error message?

  • Firefox 35 not rendering some progressive jpg files

    Followed with interest discussion about a similar problem being experienced by EGCDAN ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1044546).
    Before trying to follow the possible solutions offered, I checked the same page with IE 11 and all the images rendered perfectly as they did at one time with Firefox.

  • Firefox OS is not displaying correctly. it appears that the CSS and JS are not rendering! Any help would be most appreciated!

    I would have preferred to show anyone a screenshot of the web pages, but there is not an attach file on this forum. Anyway, with only Firefox OS , not my other browsers, the web pages are not rendering correctly. For example on Facebook there is no header or footer. JS is active in the browser and as I said Chrome and Safari are NOT having any problems. I am surmising that the CSS and JS files are somehow not being displayed. I may be very wrong, but I would gratefully accept any help someone has to offer. Thank you and have a great day!

  • Firefox not rendering webfont in 25.0.1 on some pc

    I am using a webfont hosted on my website's server and it shows up perfectly in all other browsers, and in most versions of Firefox 25.0.1 on Mac and PC, except some versions of PC's are not rendering it.
    I have had one of the problematic users check their "Allow pages to choose their own fonts..." and it DID NOT fix the problem.
    I have added the webfont into a header design built in HYPE. Here is the webfont coding I'm using, and again, it works fine on most PC's, but at least two users are having problems:
    URL to test:
    *http://www.artacademy.edu/index.php
    Coding used:
    <pre><nowiki> <meta name="viewport" content="user-scalable=yes, width=960" />
    <style>@font-face{
    font-family: 'bebasneue-webfont';
    src: url('http://www.artacademy.edu/css/webfont-header/bebasneue-webfont.eot');
    src: url('http://www.artacademy.edu/css/webfont-header/bebasneue-webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'),
    url('http://www.artacademy.edu/css/webfont-header/bebasneue-webfont.woff') format('woff'),
    url('http://www.artacademy.edu/css/webfont-header/bebasneue-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'),
    url('http://www.artacademy.edu/css/webfont-header/bebasneue-webfont.svg#webfont') format('svg');
    }</style></nowiki></pre>

    Did you also make them check the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled pref on the <b>about:config</b> page to make sure that downloadable fonts are enabled.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:config
    You can also use the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer;Ctrl+Shift+K) to check for errors and use the Fonts tab in the Inspector to check which fonts are used.

    Hi charlesmoizeau, why do you want to install Firefox 18? To be compatible with a particular website or add-on? There might be a better workaround, but without the details, it's hard to say.
    See this help article: [[Install an older version of Firefox]]. And be aware that Mozilla discloses [https://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox.html security flaws] after each new release.
