Grievance against Service Centre in India

I am very disappointed with the Blackberry Service Centre in Khar, Mumbai,
India. as I had put my phone is under warranty and had put it for repairs
for the side rubber panel and keypad issues. however, they replied saying
that the phone CANNOT BE REPAIRED whatsoever, even with paying repair
charges. The reason being, PCB Liquid Damages and resulting into the
warranty lapsing. I replied saying that my phone had not been in any moist
area nor any water had entered my phone but they never reverted back with a
satisfactory solution. Just to shun your liability off they posted a
standard reply. I know for a fact that my water had not entered the phone
and hence no questions of liquid damages. Can you please look into it or
should i wash my hands of BB and never even think about buying a Blackberry
everafter. I have to regrettably admit that i have been deeply disappointed.

Can anyone help me with the email addresses of the executives at the corporate office at India or Canada???

    I visited Blackberry Service centre in Cunningham Road (Bangalore) to give my mobile phone for servicing.
    I purchased the mobile on 8th of August 2012 and as per the Bill date, I am under warranty. 
    However, when I went to the service centre, the lady (who was very rude, unaplogetic for her behaviour, was attending other non-customers while attending me) informed me that I am not under warranty as I had purchsed my mobile on 14th of May 2012.
    I showed the lady in the counter the bill date and she was not ready to accept and left me there without giving me an explainationa and forcing me to sign a job sheet in the meanwhile. 
    I ws disstressed by her behaviour and wanted to talk to the manager. Spoke to manager named Azar on 28th of November Thursday. He took my original bill and said he would get back in two working days, which he clarified will be on or before 2nd December Monday. 
    I have not heard anything from him and I have my original bill with Azar. He forced me to hive the bill to him as he said he would get in touch with the backened team. All I have got is nothing but false promises and a rude behaviour from the desk.
    I would appreciate if someone who would take this seriously in the meantime.

    iPhones do not have an international warranty.  Warranty is valid only for the country of purchase.  This is most likely because different countries require different iPhone models.  Not reasonable to expect all countries to maintain stock for all models.

    That is correct - there is no international warranty.
    Either send it to someone you trust in the US or fly back and have it looked at.

  • Pathetic service by Service centre in ahmedabad and blackberry

    i purchased a BLackbery Z10 last month but in few days its was not performing well so i gave it to the service centre for repairing . the concerned person told that there is a serious problem but dont worry we will replace this handset with a new one.
    i gave  the handset at the service centre i.e redington india pvt ltd in AHMEDABAD on 5/7/2014 , but still they are not delevering a new handset . its about to be a month but still the service centre people are not giving a proper response saying that the model is out os atock and will be still delayed .
    i am Journalist in TIMES OF INDIA  and hence require a handset for mailing and buying BLACKBERRY has tried to prove to myself a big mistake as because of the Pathetic service and Extremely poor after sales support
    If I am not geeting a new and defect free handset in this week,  m filling a complaint against blackberry and the concerned  service centre REDINGTON INDIA ahmedabad  at CONSUMER FORUM  for providing me a defective handset and not giving a proper service for replacement as its a month as folling the customer by fake promises done before purchase
    the competitor like SAMSUNG AND APPLE have a customer policy of max to max 5 day replacement against defective handset .
    I will Also apply an RTI as journalist of TIMES OF INDIA for providing data of people in ahmedabad who got such defective pieces and will write a column in my Newspaper TIMES OF INDIA as for TRIAL OF MEDIA

  • Service center in India

    I purchased a bb z10 from USA last year now I have moved to India. my z10 has started giving a problem. When I visted a service centre in India regarding that problem they said that they do not have the authority to accept any forign bb handset for repair. Please suggest me a way out so i could get my handset repaired  or will only be left with a option to dump it with my garbage and also will not suggest bb to any of the Indian living in USA if my problem is not solved.

    1. This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not BlackBerry employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. BlackBerry personnel rarely comment on queries posted here.
    2. The service centers in India are private vendors. From my understanding from others, what you were told is exactly true. They technically are contracted to Airtel, Vodafone and other Indian mobile providers.
    3. If you tell us here, with detail, etc., what's the problem on your Z10 we might be able to help you out.
    4. Since we're not BlackBerry employees, just users like yourself, threats etc., mean little and won't really get you much help around here. Being nice, extra detailed and all will get you a long way.

    If it was originally sold in the U.S, then the warranty is only good in the U.S

  • How to Approach to Senior People Against Apple Service Centre in Delhi & Apple Customer Care Bangalore ?

    I Had Iphone 5S and Display Issue is there.
    Device is under warranty and opened by service centre without issuing a Job Card.
    Apple Service Centre is out of Stock for Replacement and refer to other Service Centre.
    After reaffixing my Device the Glass is Loose and Because of That next day while visiting other service centre My Device got Black Spot.
    They Deny the replacement and Now it is almost 1 Month 7 Days.
    No one is going to understand the real cause and deny the replacement due to pressure damage.

    I tried Apple Care Centre and Speak to Many Senior Executive they closed my case and no written reply. By phone they mentioned the case is rejected due to Pressure Damage on the Display.
    I Also Contact the Service Centre Manager he is saying the same.
    Store Manager Goes through my problem he understand the case but denying to do that replacement.
    Actual fault is done by there staff. I visited the Service Centre due to some Pinkish Color reflecting on Screen on 15 July they open my Device without issuing the Job Card in two minutes when my turns come they said the device can be replaced due to fault in Display but they refer me to another Service Centre Because they are out of Stock for 1 Week to 10 Days due to some account part in there centre.
    They return my device but cannot reaffix my Glass properly I intimate them they said don't worry it will be replace tomorrow at other service centre. I approach next day and while waiting for my turn a black spot appears due to loose glass.
    Other Service Centre Deny due to Black Spot & Refer me back to the same service centre. They told me to submit my device and they mention the situation of 16 July and don't mention the situation of 15 July.
    I explained and send emails to ACC but no one explain the problem to Apple US they are considering the problem from 16 July onwards but the real fault is done by the employes of Service Centre and Closed my Case after just replying that it is due to pressure damage.
    The actual mail is very long which i send it and how should I approach to Senior people they said there is no option after talking to senior executive in ACC INDIA
    Please Help and Suggest.

  • Going to service centre again and again - Bangalore (India)

    I gave my Q5 for service on 20 Dec 2014 to fix calender settings issue. After a week it was ready for deliver by changing the screen, and I noticed the back panel was damaged by the service centre. Requested them to fix the panel, as per the service advisor it may take 10 to 12 days to receive the stock. Went back to the service centre after 14 days and was surprised the stock wasn't received to them.
    Making a note on the receipt they have delivered the mobile stating "back panel needs to replace". Accepted the same and took delivery on 9 Jan 2015. After delivery I noticed "alt" button was not working and hearing speaker was getting echo, rushed back to the service centre again on 10 Jan 2015. Took 4 days to fix the issue and delivered on 13 Jan 2015.
    And now I am finding the issues with the keypad light and proximity sensor. Need to rush to service centre again. Not sure when it has "The End".
    Do I need to rely on BlackBerry or do I need to move new competitive phones and tell good bye to BlackBerry?

    My Powerbook's fan is making a lot of noise and I suspect it isn't functioning properly anymore as the internal temperature, particularly on the bottomside of the processor, is over 70 degrees centigrade.   • The service centre cheating and insulting me as a costomer

    Sir, I bought a Sony Xperia ZL mobile handset from M/s Sony Centre, Kottayam, Kerala on 4 October 2013. After a mere 14 months of use, the phone developed complaints and I gave it at M/s Madona Care, the authorised service centre of Sony at Kottayam. I thought that it was just a software complaint. But the service centre told me that the phone was not repairable. They also told me that the company would give me some offers, so that my phone can be replaced. Their offer was that they would give me another phone, if I gave them 1/3 of the price of the handset. Accordingly I surrendered my ZL phone and remitted an advance of Rs.5000/- to them. After three weeks, I was informed that the replacement was ready and that I could accept it after remitting the balance amount of Rs.4240/-. So I got a replacement phone after remitting a total amount of Rs.9240/-. When I asked about the warranty, they told me that, in case the phone developed any complaints, I could approach them with the invoice given to me. After six months, the replacement phone also developed complaints and I approached the service centre with the invoice. When I contacted them after a week, I was informed that the complaint was not repairable and another replacement would be given within a week. When I contacted them after a week, they told me that approval was not received from the Company and that everything would be ok soon. When I contacted them next time, they asked me to contact the service manager and gave me the phone number of one Mr. Vinod. When contacted, he told me that the company was reminded about my issue and that the problem would be sorted out soon. Again I contacted him after two days, and was told that a complaint had been lodged to the company for getting warranty. I also got an SMS to this effect. When I called him again after two days, I was told that the set had no warranty. Actually, if they had not offered any warranty, shouldn’t they have repaired my set then and there?. If there was no warranty, why did they resubmit my issues to the company? I believe that, if one checks the emails sent by the service centre, one can get evidence that my set had been offered warranty. What I had narrated above is absolutely true. It is gross injustice that a world- famous company is treating a customer like this. Actually I was cheated by the authorised service centre of Sony. What I spent during last one and a half years for a phone is nearly Rs.40,000/- I request you to do the needful to redress my grievance and to remedy for the hardships I faced both financially and mentally. You may please take action to at least replace the phone as agreed by the service centre. You are also requested to take appropriate steps against the service centre for cheating and insulting a customer. Expecting a speedy response and settlement from your end, Yours faithfully K.     This is possible for sure what you need to do is to go at travel request . In travel Request there is an option of Enhanced Travel cost/ Alternative master cost center. if you click on it . you would find an option of cost assignmnet click on it
    there you would have option , like an excel sheet like fields of  the cost centre, wbs element, profit center, order number what eve is requred and save it.
    now the cot of trip would go that particulat cost center or der numbe or WBS rather then the cost center assigned at master data in ifototype 0027.

    I purchased my imac intel 21" 3-4 weeks ago and in the 2nd week i faced an issue with the machine. When i switched on in, there was a fan noise and a white screen. The machine had hanged. I reported the problem and gave to the service centre. After testing for a week, they said that there is no problem with the imac. Again i faced the same problem after receiving it from the service centre. They again tested the machine for 3-4 days and reported as no problem with the machine. Couple of days back, I received the machine from the service centre, and on the same day when i switched it on, there are flickers in the display. Please help me solve the issue. I am from India. The service here is very bad.

    Yes I agree with seventy one. It's common sense to do this, especially now. I would also contact AppleCare and report this issue with them, it will get documented and you will have a caseID that you can refer to when talking to them in the future should this issue go one.
    Be polite with AppleCare and your AASP. Hopefully everyone is being honest and trying to help you and not what might appear to be the opposite.
    Patience is a virtue, but I thoroughly understand your frustration.
    Let us know how it goes, we are here to help in whatever way we can.
    I encourage you to contact AppleCare to report this experience and get their recommendations. There is an expectation that you should have that AppleCare is there to help you as a customer. I am sure they will too!

    The iPhone warranty is not international and as you purchased in
    Malaysia the warranty is only valid in Malaysia
    You could try taking to an iPhone Authorised service provider
    in India but there have been many similar posts to yours
    and I am not aware  of them assisting  with an iPhone from
    outside India
