Grouping by ID column, but showing Name column in the Tree View.

Hi, i'm using Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010. I'm grouping my report by TenantID column. When i generate the report, it shows the TenantID in the TreeView (on the left side). Is there a way that i can group by TenantID, but show TenantName column in the TreeView? How would i do that?
P.S. The reason i don't want to group by TenantName is because, sometimes some tenants may have the same name, and i don't want the report to combine them.

Here the solution with screenshot-wise:
Step1: Go to Group Expert
2. Click ptions -> options
3. Check Customize Group Name Field > Choose TenantName column -> ok

In Mac OS X 10.7, any applications left open when you shut down or restart are re-opened at startup, and any documents left open in an app when you quit are re-opened when you launch them again. The former can be controlled by unchecking the box in the restart/shutdown alert:
You will need to do this each time you shut down or restart, it won't remember that setting.
The latter can be deactivated by unchecking the box in System Preferences -> General:

That does not sound normal, but I don't use a mouse with my MBP, so I can't provide a solution, other than to try replacing the batteries in the mouse.

Show your tasks in the calendar view - Outlook Web App

Hi,
Is it possible to show your tasks in the calendar view in Outlook Web App 2013 ?
Some explanations of what I want to do :-)
We use Project Server so user can encode their work, this tasks are sync with an Exchange Server 2013 so tasks can be view in Outlook Web App. It's working really fine but we also want that in OWA, tasks are showed in a calendar so users can share what they
have to do.
How can we add the tasks into a calendar or how can an user can easily share what he do ?

Tasks are not listed in
calendar in Outlook/OWA, To view task you will have to go to
Tasks folder or view the task
in To-do bar. You can also see the tasks for the day
in calendar folder if you go to Daily Task List. There are no Add-ins from Microsoft that can add
tasks in the
calendar along with Meetings/Appointments.

Catalog manager not showing the tree view

I cannot see the tree view when i login in the catalog manger in the online mode.What could be the reason? I can see only the \ folder but not the shared,system and users folders.I checked even the instance config file and made sure the path was right.

was working fine after installation. I restarted the
Oracle Service (DB Service, TNS, iSQL, DBControl)
from services in Control Panel. Database is up and

My iPad used to organize TV shows by show name, now all the shows are in one folder.

When I used to sync my iPad with iTunes, all my Tivoed TV shows would neatly organize according to show name. Now they are all dumped into one folder. It is frustrating. How can I get them organized again?

To move a library from an old machine to a new machine:
Simply copy the old Library to the Pictures Folder in your new machine and launch iPhoto. There is no importing involved.
When you imported the old library you lost all the albums and imported all the duplication.
Do you still have the old library? Then trash the new one and start over.

My iPhone 5 connects to wifi but shows one bar on the wifi signal meter but my iPad2 and Macbook Air both show full wifi bars when all three are side by side next to my apple router. Do I have an antenna problem with my iPhone 5?

It appears that my iPhone 5 has a wifi signal reception issue. I only show one bar on the wifi signal meter even when I an next to the router. Both my Macbook Air and my iPad2 show full wifi signals at the same time. Rebooting the Apple router and each device results in the same meter readings.

Does this occur with any Wi-Fi connection? Or only a specific one?
If it occurs with any Wi-Fi connection, take it to Apple.
If it is only occurring with a specific Wi-Fi connection, it is an issue with that Wi-Fi connection.
Try the following, it may help:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Forget the Wi-Fi connection on the iPhone then reconnect.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).

How to hide a tree node from the GUI but still keep it in the tree model?

I used a JTree in my project in which I have a DefaultTreeModel to store all the tree structure and a JTree show it on the screen. But for some reason, I want to hide some of the nodes from the user, but I don't want to remove them from the tree model because later on I still need to use them.
I searched on the web, some people suggested method to hide the root node, but that's not appliable to my project because I want to hide some non-root nodes; Some people also suggested to collapse the parent node when there are child to hide, it is not appliable to me either, because there still some other childnodes (sibling of the node to hide) I want to show.
How can I hide some of the tree node from the user? Thanks for any information.

Here's an example using a derivation of DefaultTreeModel that shows (or does not show) two types of Sneech (appologies to the good Dr Zeus) by overiding two methods on the model.
Now, there are many things wrong with this example (using instanceof, for example), but it's pretty tight and shows one way of doing what you want.
Note: to make it useful, you''d have to change the implementation of setShowStarBelliedSneeches() to do something more sophisticated than simply firing a structure change event on the root node. You'd want to find all the star bellied sneech nodes and call fireTreeNodesRemoved(). That way the tree would stay expanded rather than collapse as it does now.

Hide column, but show results.

I am having trouble with hiding columns in BEx Analyser. The trick is not hiding the colomn, but hiding it and still showing the result.
It is been a long time since someone answered a question of mine on the forums, so I hope this one isn't too difficult as well (or unclear).
 
This is the situation: 
I have two key figures in the Column pane (Actual Cost and Forecast cost) as well as Calender Month. 
On the rows, it is grouped by Program Position and project. 
For the key figures I want to do the following... 
Forecast Cost: I want to see it for every calender month, and a total at the end. 
Actual cost: I only want to see a total at the end. 
 
Each Program position has multiple projects, and I want to see the total for all the projects in a program position. 
 
It will look like this:

If I check the "Also Apply to results" for either colums or rows, it removes all the results.

You may want to do this in a copy of your existing query.
Remove anything in your columns for starters. Let's just look at Actual YTD first and we can do the Forecast afterwards.
Right mouse click on your Column and select Create Structure.
Right mouse click on this structure and select Create Selection.
In the selection dialogue box drag over your time parameter (Fiscal Period), the Value Type = 10, Actual and the key figure. We need to put a variable on Fiscal Period to allow the user enter a From / To range. Suggest that you do not pick a time interval - select a Value Range and then pick two Period single value mandatory selection prompt.
The reason we pick two prompts, is that when we look at the Forecast we will pick the first value they entered (presumably period 1 year x) and use offsets to create the following 11 periods.

Works perfect, It connects 3 tables: apps, servers, link and groupy by column servers. So,
link table is auxiliary connection.
Output is:

Can you post DDL? What little you showed us is a mess. You have a magic generic “description” that transform from servers to applications in violation of ISO-11179 Standards, logic and data modeling. Likewise, you have the classic noob “id” that also morphs

Auxiliary connections?? I never head that term before and I think been around SQL for awhile :). The term “link” comes from 1970's network databases. It was a type of pointer structure. Pointers connect, references do not. We would never use it in RDBMS. We
have n:m, 1:m or n:1 relationships and the relationships have real names. Using OUTER JOINs makes no sense.
Next, I see you hate Dr. Codd and First Normal Form (1NF). You use XML to make the code hard to port, hard to maintain an unpredictable. Good SQL programmers write and do not do display formatting in the query. This is the principle of any tiered architecture,
not just SQL.

Auto size columns but with hidden columns

I want to hide some columns for interal use with the following statements:
jTable.getColumnModel().getColumn(i).setMaxWidth(0);
jTable.getColumnModel().getColumn(i).setMinWidth(0);
jTable.getColumnModel().getColumn(i).setPreferredWidth(0);
Now I find that the widths of hidden columns become not zero.
But I still want to auto-size the columns, so I add
setAutoResizeMode(JTable.AUTO_RESIZE_ALL_COLUMNS);
Then I find that the widths of hidden columns become not zero.
Could anyone tell me how to auto size the columns while keeping the hidden columns with zero widths?

If you want to hide columns then remove them from the TableColumnModel. The data is not removed, the columns are just not painted. Here is an example:

Group employees by dept but show dept only once

Hi Gurus...
I have a query that returns the following result set...

However, I would need to have my result set as following, ie., show dept# only once for the list of employees in that dept...

I have an ipod touch 4th gen its currently updated on sowftware 6.1.6 but shows its connected to the laptop but only says apple iod not the name of the ipod it wont connect to itunes on the laptop.HELP!!!
