GTC Reconciliation events error
Hi all,
Do you know what's happened when the status of Reconciliation Events tab(Reconciliation Manager) in Design Colsole said those processes are matched and no users weren't created on database table?
-Product versions-
OIM: 9.1.0.2
SO: RHEL 4 update 5
Database: 10.2.0.5
best regards,
And all of them are provisioned twice. So, i have two equal lines in my csv file , the process definition form have all columns listed in this file as a key and reconciliation rules have these conditions:
1- No matched found(Assing to ADM..); 2- One Entity Match Found(Establish link); 3- One Process Match Found(Establish Link).
So, the other question is:
For reconciliation process doesn't create to provisioned resources for the same account twice, what should I do?
1-Create another rule condition to Multiple process matched found and action none?
Any advise will be helpful.
regards,
Thiago Leoncio

Problem with GTC Reconciliation (Update event)
Hi everyone,
I have a GTC as Trusted Source Reconciliation. When the event is an insert, it runs OK, but if the event is an update, the reconcilliation logs the following error:

Well if for update type events you provide a blank value for mandatory fields, it will still process the event because OIM already has the value fed in for those fields at the time of creation. So it really does not throw those missingRequiredFields error. The only case when you can see those errors in update events is when you have checked the Required checkbox in the RO Attribute definition. So if you have not marked it as mandatory in the Resource Object then update event will not bring any error.
*@Ariel*
As you told that this is throwing the same error in Create/Update events both. So best would be to do a re-apply from design console and see what the exact error is. Now if its for create as well then as per *..375* it could be mandatory fields as well. Go to Reconciliation Manager, open up any event, click on Re-Apply Rules. Now see what the error is:
- If its says attribute * . . * provided does not exist in OIM like error then you are providing some wrong value for any OIM attribute *(Organization, Employee-Type or user-Type)*
- If it says Mandatory Values not Provided for User creation the you are missing some mandatory fields.
Thanks

OIM11g - GTC Trusted - Events are in Data Received state
Hi all,
I ran GTC Trusted Recon. I have received close to 15k events. But all the events are in data received state. I can see the keyfield given in recon rules in event manager.
I have set the recon batch size as 300.
I tried to evaluate manually, which is invain. Gives me exception stating "Cannot be re-evaluated because of the batch is processed yet."
Also, I cannot find "Resubmit Reconciliation Events" schedule job in OIM11g.
What is "Data Received" state and how to make these events get processed.
Any help is appreciated.
Regards
VickyHi vicky.
Could you solve this problem? I am working in a project that is facing the same problem. The costumer created an GTC connector and all events reconciled by this connector are in 'Data Received' status. It is happening in the Production Enviroment and it is clustered. This problem does not happen in the other costumer enviroments.

False alarm when processing reconciliation events.
Hi,
I use OIM 11.1.1.3. I create reconciliation event and process it with tcReconciliationOperationsIntf.processReconciliationEvent(). It works like a charm, but always produces annoying log error messages

GTC means Generic Technology Connector. Go to Advance Console there you'll find it.Yes I know, my question is what GTC creates as output. If it creates reconciliation events, then the problem will persist, since it happens during recon event processing. -

We have configured a GTC to Reconcile with a table from an Oracle Database.

Creating reconciliation events from a flat file--a design question
Hello,
I am currently evaluating an existing OIM implementation to rebuild it using OIM 11g and have a question regarding the ideal method to create reconciliation events from a flat file.
The current implementation is using a web service call to process a flat file and creates the reconciliation events. This runs every hour.
Although this looks cool but I thought there was no need to go to the extent.
If OIM cannot consume the flat file directly, meaning if it needs some data massage, I can always load the data from the flat file into an external table, write a pl/sql procedure to transform the data and put it into a temporary global table and create reconciliation events like that.
What would be the ideal method to load data from a flat file into OIM?
THanks
KhanhIf it's a flat file, then have you looked at GTC option? And why any staging in between? OIM can read flat files just fine either through GTC or write up your own recon code.

OIM11g Reconciliation Event Problem for UNIX SSH Default Connector
Hi OIM gurus and masters,
I having problem on reconciliation event using default connector for UNIX SSH. I'm using 9.0.4.15.0 connector version.
The reconciliation job was run, but when i saw it in reconciliation event there are something wrong with it.
The all Current Status was Data Received and the Job ID was -1.
Does anyone can help me why this is happening?
Thanks,
Ivan P.In reconciliation via GTC only postprocess handlers get called, preprocess handlers don't. See thread 1129910.

How to delete child table records while creation reconciliation event
Hi,
I developed custom scheduler task to create reconciliation events with child form information:
if (!reconOperations.ignoreEventAttributeData(objectName, attrs, "Roles", childs)) {
long eventId = reconOperations.createReconciliationEvent(objectName, attrs, eventAttributes);
for (int f = 0; f < childs.length; f++) {
reconOperations.providingAllMultiAttributeData(eventId, "Roles", true);
reconOperations.addDirectMultiAttributeData(eventId, "Roles", childs[f]);
reconOperations.finishReconciliationEvent(eventId);
but when I delete roles from target system roles won't delete from OIM.
How config recon Operations to do this?objName - The Name for the object for which the reconciliation is taking place
parentRecord - A map containing the field-value pairs for the data received from the target.
childTableName - The name of the multi-attribute reconciliation field that the data is for
childRecords - A List containing the Hashtable objects. Every Hashtable will have field-value pairs for the data record pertaining to that attribute received from the target. -

I have run into this problem a number of times- Where I kick off a misconfigured reconciliation task. As a result, OIM then potentially creates thousands of records which ultimately fail and remain in event received status. Due to a number of reasons, the reconciliation processing time may last for hours. To avoid having to wait for a reconciliation job I already know will fail to complete, my question is this-
How do I remove the reconciliation tasks which are still in queue/have not been processed by OIM? I would rather kill all the tasks OIM is currently reconciling than wait around for the task to complete, especially if I know these tasks will will fail.
So far, I know a few things -
1. The "disable" and "stop execution" checkboxes in the DC are useless.
2. The reconciliation events all reside in the RCE table
I have been trying to find a pattern in the table counts, but have not come up with any conclusions. Any ideas on how to cut this down?
Thanks.Hi,
I did this long time back but you can try this one but please take a backup of your database as this is direct sql query. I won't recommend untill its inevitable.
delete from rcb where rce_key in ( select rce_key from rce where rce_status='Required Data Missing' );
delete from rcd where rce_key in ( select rce_key from rce where rce_status='Required Data Missing' );
delete from rch where rce_key in ( select rce_key from rce where rce_status='Required Data Missing' );
delete from rpc where rce_key in ( select rce_key from rce where rce_status='Required Data Missing' );
delete from rcm where rce_key in ( select rce_key from rce where rce_status='Required Data Missing' );
delete from rcd where rce_key in ( select rce_key from rce where rce_status='Required Data Missing' );
delete from rcp where rce_key in ( select rce_key from rce where rce_status='Required Data Missing' );
delete from rce where rce_status='Required Data Missing';
You can change your rce_status.

Disable Reconciliation event similar to deleteDetectedAccounts
Hi,
I would like to know whether there is any method or functionality we can use to create a reconciliation event of type "Disable".
Currently we are using "deleteDetectedAccount" method in tcReconciliationOperationsIntf and it is deleting the accounts but I want to know how can we disable the user resource assinment in OIM instead of deleting.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,Pretty Simple
- Create an RO Attribute, say Status
- Grab any of the two values for this field while performing reconciliation. Enabled or Disabled
- Map it to OIM Object Status field in the Process Definition of your Resource Object
You are done.
Thanks

Items.Id,
Item.Id;By using //, i am able to use the same query for both. Is there a better way?If using a single query is a must, then I guess it's OK.
Ideally, however, i would like the text of each (without tags), separated by commas.The fn:string-join() function can do that, e.g. :
ItemLinkDesc VARCHAR2(4000) PATH 'fn:string-join(ItemLinks/ItemLink/Description, ";")'But I'm not sure it's a good idea because you'll be losing the structured nature of the data.
Maybe it would be better to collect repeating elements into a collection of SQL object types, but again it all depends on how you want to use the data later.
So, following your advice, i removed the XMLAGGs and GROUP BY clause, but, again the query works, the CTAS does not:Strange...
Works for me :

Pro Debug Event - Error 290 /tick time
Suddenly a project I was working (and all the auto-saved folders) could not open anymore by giving me the following message: "Pro Debug Event - error 290 tick time"
Whenever you enounter an error, as a general rule, search the forum to see if it's already been addressed, or to join the discussion:
TickTime.cpp-290 error after opening a specific project | Premiere CC 2014.2 | Windows 8.1
Also, I always convert/ingest my media to use the same format that runs natively in PPro and does not require conforming.
Second, with regards to losing work with projects that can't be fixed. I always save my projects incrementally to new names as I go. When I hit an issue that cannot be resolved (and occasionally I do), I reopen the previously saved project and try something else. In fact today I hit a stack error. It was a three-day edit, and I was on version "(project name)_028.prproj" I just opened up the previous version "..._027.prproj", repeated the few edits that I lost in "028" and rendered without error. Follow that?
Anyway, read the link above for a possible fix. -
Can uninstalling and installing CS4 fix the debug event error message?
Hello,
Can uninstalling and installing cs4 solve the debug event error message?Can uninstalling and installing cs4 solve the debug event error message?
Well, that DOES seem to be the scripted mantra of Adobe TS in some out of the way country. According to most reports, that cures everything from trying to Capture over a USB cable to working with footage from your cellphone camera. In most cases, it has cured very little, though maybe the Debug Event error IS something that will be fixed by this.
Good luck,
