Gurented Delivery in PIP Using queue

Its written in the oracle AIA integration developer guide that using queue and topics gurenteed delivery can be achieved. For that we should use queue before Requestor ABCS and EBS and queue/topic between EBS and provider ABCS. This architecture along with property setting for participating application, will make the services in transaction.
But when I have gone through product hub PIP, the architecture used there is completely different. There is no queues in betweek source and requester ABCS as well as ESB and provider ABCS.
Still it has mention that the PIP architecture provides the gurenteed delivery.
Can any one please explain how PIP can gurenteed the delivery of message without using queue or topics? Also I would like to know that which architecture I should use if I want to develope customized PIP.

  • How do I set the delivery policy for a queue in iMQ 2.0?

    The list on page 67 of the 2.0 administration guide appears to be
    incomplete. Specifically, I'm interested in knowing how to set
    the default delivery policy for a Queue through the jmqobjmgr command.
    I need the valid attribute name to pass in to jmqobjmgr.

    The "queueDeliveryPolicy" is an attribute of a queue
    created in the broker - not in the administered object
    destination so that is why you are not seeing that
    attribute on the list on page 67.
    By default, the broker by will use the "single" queue delivery
    policy unless you choose to change the values of the property
    "jmq.queue.defaultdeliveryPolicy" to SINGLE, ROUND-ROBIN, or
    FAILOVER. If you would like to do this, see the Chapter 4
    in the admin guide on "Starting and Configuring the Broker".
    It may be easier to set the delivery policy for just one queue.
    To do this, you can use the following command:
    jmqcmd create dst -n myQueue -t q -o "queueDeliveryPolicy=f"
    where valid values to queueDeliveryPolicy is f, s, r.
    You can do a 'jmqcmd -H' to get more info on queue attributes or
    see Chapter 6 in the admin guide on "Creating and Destroying Destinations".

    Hi,
    MCEX02,MCEX04,MCEX05,MCEX05_1,MCEX08,MCEX11,MCEX12,MCEX13 these are the extract structure names of the datasource for the applicaitons Sales, Billing, Delivery, Purchasing....etc.
    If you goto LBWE based on the application component number you can find the datasouurces like 11, 12, 13 are for sales, delivery, billing repectively.

  • Goods Receive for Outbound Delivery Without Reference using MIGO

    Dear Colleague ...
    We might need your insight on the case below related to Goods Receive of Outbound Delivery without Reference using MIGO:
    (1) In the current SAP Enjoy screen of MIGO, we are allowed to select the reference document (e.g. = PO, Material Document, Inbound Document, Outbound Document, etc.)
    (2) We did 3 (three) kind of test set: GR for Inbound Delivery, GR for Outbound Delivery with STO and GR for Outbound Delivery without reference.
    (3) The first 2 (two) cases work just find with MIGO.  We believe it is because the receiving plant is pretty much determined in the reference document, which is PO (case 1) or STO (case 3)
    (4) However, the last case came up with the error message "Goods receipt not possible for delivery 8000610236: error code 5".  We believe that this is the standard design of SAP, that the receiving plant is required and it is not defined explicitly in the delivery document.
    (5) Moreover, we also believe that that's the reason why SAP (via the Logistic Execution module) provide the Handling Unit and Shipment, which can be used to perform such receive function, which will imply the MM posting (goods issue and goods receive) IF there is stock transfer involved.
    Appreciate for any thoughts or input on the above.  Many thanks,
    Alvon Sibarani

  • Delivery Output determiantion using Delivery type & Item category

    Dear all,
    I am facing a problem while triggering output using Delivery type/Item Category access in access sequence xyz. I have maintained the condition record for this access and did all the necessary customization settings.
    When i maintain the condition record for other access in Access sequence xyz the out put is being triggered.
    After some analysis i found that the Delivery type/Item category is using different communication structures.
    ie. Delivery type is using KOMKBV2-LFART. where as Item Category is using KOMPBV2-PSTYV. The output is a header output.
    can any one explain the problem here in maintaining different comm structures for an access for generating header output.
    Thanks in advance for your inputs.
    Best Regards
    Satish

    Hi,
    You mean to say its not triggering the output automatically.....
    If that is the case then goto the condition type in IMG and in tab "default values" make the dispatch time as "send immediately when saving the application" this will automatically triggers the output based on the condition records.....

  • Delivery Document creation using buffered data?

    We're using BAPIs to create an STO with estimated volumes/dates.
    But, when the Actual information comes in, we first update the STO with actual volume, then create a delivery document. The problem is that the delivery document is using the estimated volume even though we've committed the volume change and can pull up the STO to see it prior to Delivery create.
    For STO, we're using:
    BAPI_PO_CREATE1 and
    BAPI_PO_CHANGE
    For Delivery creation, we're using:
    BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_STO
    It seems that the Delivery is reading buffered information rather than what's actually been committed to the DB. Is there a way to bypass the buffer when calling this BAPI?
    thanks,
    Robert

    Hi
    In VL02n->Extras->Delivery Output->Header
    Check if you see any message type (LD00 ?).
    If you do not see any, insert a message type LD00.
    If you want to check the IMG settings, see Txns : V/71 (for delivery types RL/RLL) and V/73 (for Item category RLLN)

  • How to reverse goods issue for delivery note by using IDoc

    Hi all,
    I would like to reverse goods issue and picking request for delivery note by using inbound IDoc.
    I used message type SHPCON and IDoc type DEVLRY03 for posting goods issue in inbound processing and it's work but I couldn't find solution for posting reverse goods issue.
    Pls let me know which IDoc type or any ways for posting goods issue reversal and cancelling picking request.
    Thanks for your time.
    Su R.

    Hello,
              For this requirements we can actually follow two Approaches that I can think of. Here they are.
    Approach 1
             Little Complex Approach. What we can do is to make use of the Same Function Module (Posting Program) IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY to do the Delivery Updates (Except reversing the Goods Issue). During this,  we can make use of one of the Customer Functions available in the Enhancement V55K0001 and satisfy our Requirement.
    Approach 2
            We can actually code a Custom Posting Program (Function Module) in which the first part will take care of updating the Delivery & if the PGI is done, then we can make use of the Function Module BAPI_GOODSMVT_CANCEL to reverse the PGI.
            I think the later Approach is much easier rather than going for the Standard Function Module (Posting Program), Exits and find a place where we have to find another Enhancement Spot / Enhancement where we can call the above FM to Cancel the Goods Movement.
    Hope these inputs were helpful.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Porting varray data from one db to another remote db using queues and jms

    We are trying to port a varray from one db to another db using queues and java jms. The varray is embedded in an object type (necessary according to oracle docs). The varray, embed object, and the queues are identical between the 2 dbs. We have used the capabilities in jdeveloper to generate the necessary classes to access the embed object and its payload the varray.
    However, when we attempt this:
    public void publish( com.wgint.sql.EaiType payload )
    throws JMSException, SQLException
    Connection dbConnection = ((AQjmsSession)session).getDBConnection();
    AdtMessage message = ((AQjmsSession)session).createAdtMessage();
    message.setAdtPayload( payload );
    ( (AQjmsTopicPublisher) publisher ).publish( publisher.getTopic(),
    message,
    agents );
    we get a ora-00902 error, invalid datatype. I cannot find a single example on technet or the internet in which someone has done something similar. I do not know if it is feasible or not.
    Steve

    Do you really need JMS to do this? If not, just let the AQ layer propagate your messages from your local to your remote queue. See the online doc how to do this.

    how to put gradient effect on a 45 degree curved pipe using single object

    Sudhanshu,
    You may use a smooth blend between a dark/black solid fill object with the full width and a white narrow fill object in the middle.
    Yoy may:
    1) Create the full width object with the bend, remember to have two anchor points at the inner corner, on top of each other if it is to be sharp; you may create it with a surplus length, see below;
    2) With 1) selected, Object>Path>Offset Path by a negative value equalling half the width less a point or so, to create the inner fill path, then turn it white;
    3) You may ClickDrag across each end of the paths with the Line Segment Tool, then Object>Path>Divide Objects Below and delete the unwanted end parts;
    4) Object>Blend>Objects, use Smooth and Align to Path;
    5) Object>Blend>Make.

  • UCCE Custom Routing Using Queue To Agent

    I have a customer interested in performing their own agent selection using a database lookup rather than selecting agents based upon skill group assignment. The suggestion has been made to perform the database lookup and use the queue to agent node. This would be used in a mid-sized environment, several thousand agents, and the there could possibly be hundreds of agents listed in the queue to agent node for a particular call. Has anyone had any experience on using queue to agent in this manner? I'm curious if pushing the queue to agent functionality beyond it's intended purpose would cause issues.

    Queue to agent indirect with a DB lookup is workable - the result of the lookup must be their agent ID.
    What would be the lookup criteria?
    You need to establish an Enterprise Skill Group and an Enterprise Route using a skill group that will NEVER be removed from the agent (say by dynamic reskilling), so give it an artificial name like Q2Agent. Agents would also need to be in an overflow skill group.
    You won't have to touch the script - there will be just one Queue to Agent node.
    Don't queue if the agent is not logged in - overflow to a queue to skill group. Don't queue too long at the selected agent if they are logged in - again, oveflow to a queue to skill group.
    You will have to manage the DB when an agent leaves, but it doesn't matter much because they won't be logged in. When a new agent arrives you will have to add an entry to the DB - but even if you don't it will be OK as the lookup willl fail and you will just queue to the overflow.
    It's actually worth playing with.
    Regards,
    Geoff

  • Tips to remember when using Queued State machine

    I have been able to work through to convert my State Machine architecture to a QSM thereby eliminating using Local variables/property nodes to send values/data to my State machine but instead sending them through queues.
    I would like some tips/advice on making use of them perfectly. Especially, "Not to do" stuff with queues and How to efficiently release a queue etc. What is the convention when using queues? Thanks!

    Hmmm!! I jumped the gun... I would have to say, Neither... I guess it isn't really QSM or Queued message handler. My State machine is the generic one. But, data for the SM is obtained from a queue and feedback is sent back from the State machine through a queue. Does that clarify ?
    BTW, good to know more variations.. Thanks!
    That is a QSM.
    I will defer to those that use them regularly.
    I would only use such a a construct if the queue was limited to a single entry and prevented inserting multiple states at the front or back of the queue.
    As long as the queue is limited to a single entry then a State Transition Diagram could be used to described all of the states.
    The multiple entry version can be thought of as a method to implement a "goto" statement in LV. Very useful for those that come from a background working with stacks and pushing and popping off work and those that use them often love them.
    But for me let me refer to a letter from Dijkstra quote from here

    Everything is ok with NDPS.

    Question is: why? If it works with NDPS then use NDPS and if you need a
    queue for anything, then just have the NDPS-printer servcice it.
