Gvim selection-to-clipboard problem

Hi
Recently I have noticed that selecting text in gvim does not always make it register in the XFCE Clipman clipboard. The first selection always seems to register but subsequent ones do not. Other apps I tried always register every selection in Clipman.
Apologies if this was already reported, my clumsy searches did not bring it up.
My thanks in advance.

Hi,
Enter the mentioned t-code in BW system.
Select your specific Query(View)
In the next screen, you can see Extract button on top .
You will be able to proceed further.............

    Glad it helped. Everyone has been bitten by this at one time or another. Fortunately you only get bit once
    Well if you haven't already read it two or three times the User manual is really very good. Apple really did a nice job with it. The on-line version is nice because it is searchable.
    After that the Apple Pro Training Series book Aperture 3 is very useful. Its basically split into three parts. The library, adjustments and sharing. In addition if you get all the way through it you can take the Certification test and become, well certified.
    Rwboyer who posts here on and off has a good site and a couple of ebooks that I found useful.

  • ClipBoard problems with Views

    Hi
    I once tried using views in ClipBoard
    It worked
    However now Views don't seem to be working at ll
    In the sense , it permits to insert a row but not the BLOB or image data into the table thru the view
    Well, the details are as follows
    Table CONTENT
    id number(10) PK
    content OrdSys.OrdImage
    View CONTENTVIEW
    select * from CONTENT;
    Now I use this view for uploading the documents thru Clipboard
    It permits to insert a row but not upload the document itself
    The error is
    "table not found"
    I tried having the table as well as the view in the same schema, it still does not work
    Any solutions please
    nandeep

    Well, Mizuno
    Thank you once again.
    i recollect that you had warned me .
    I have a problem here.
    We have around 10 content managers
    And each need to have his own login name and password.
    Haveing seperate schemas does not seem to work out.
    Any solutions
    Also security is a problem
    One more thing is that we wanted to have a history table which will store even the versions of the content.
    Do database triggers work with OrdImage type or the BLOB datatypes?
    Or will they give some problems?
    Or is there a better approach for this problem
    Even synonyms do not work in ClipBoard by the way.
    It is only the table and nothing but the table
    Thank you

  • Clipboard Problem in JTextArea

    I am writing a text editor in swing and when i used the system clipboard for my JTextArea, the pop-up menu of cut,copy,paste delete and select all that normally appears in TextArea didn't appear. What could be the possible solution? Please note that when i use TextArea instead of JTextArea, my menubar goes behind the text area, and thus creates problem.
    Could anyone give me a hand please? I would request you to be elaborative and give me some lines of codes if you can find the solution.
    Thanks

    JTextArea by default does not show the drop down menu. You have to trap the right click on the JTextArea and show the JPopupMenu. Also, to enable cut, copy, paste etc.. you have to call the JTextArea.cut(),copy(),paste() and the selectAll() methods on the action event occuring during the menu item selection of your popup menu.

  • Selection screen field problem

    Hello experts..
    i have a selection screen , in that i have a field   s_bwart for mseg-bwart.
    some times the user will input the data in the field and sometimes he wont. we have fixed movement types combination like
    11-21 , 13-24 , 13-56 , 101-543 , 101-544 etc.
    if the user did not input any thing in the selection screen , i am populating s_bwart in at-selection screen event with all the mvt types. after executing the report when user presses the back button to come to the selection screen, there the s_bwart field is containing all the mvt types in single values ie in the select options screen. So the user dont want that, if he comes back nothing should be there in the selection screen field s_bwart if he has not inputted anything. if he inputs only 11 mvt type then when he comes back after executing the report he should see only 11 in the select screen field ie s_bwart. Please send the replies on how to solve the problem.

    hi,
    in ur program try to display values for users in START-OF-SELECTION event as it triggers after the selection screen displayed for users. if user doesn't give any input then display default values in this event. and also create a variable
    for ex:
    data: ws_flag type c,
             p_value type i.
    after u display default values for users in selection screen assign the flag as ' X '
    ws_flag = 'X'.
    before leaving ur program based on flag try to do like this.
    if ws_flag = ' X '.
        clear s_data. // s_data is the select options for u.
    else.
         s_data = p_value. // the value which user gave in selection screen as i/p.
    endif.
    if helpful reward some points.
    with regards,
    Suresh Aluri.

  • Select query join problem

    hey guys,
    i've used a select query to get details from KNA1, KNVV, ADRC, KNVP, pa0002. tables by joining. but i'm getting only about 170 records. there are more than 3000 records in the database. for each tables. here is my select query
    SELECT KNA1KUNNR KNA1NAME1 KNA1NAME2 ADRCSTR_SUPPL1 ADRCSTR_SUPPL2 ADRCSTR_SUPPL3 ADRCCITY1 KNVVVWERK KNVPPERNR PA0002VORNA PA0002NACHN KNVVVKBUR KNVVKDGRP KNA1STCD1 KNA1~STCEG
        INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE IT_FINAL FROM KNA1
        INNER JOIN KNVV ON KNA1KUNNR = KNVVKUNNR
        INNER JOIN ADRC ON KNA1ADRNR = ADRCADDRNUMBER
        INNER JOIN KNVP ON KNA1KUNNR = KNVPKUNNR
        INNER JOIN PA0002 ON KNVPPERNR = PA0002PERNR
        WHERE KNA1KUNNR IN S_KUNNR AND KNVVVWERK in P_VWERK AND PA0002PERNR IN S_PERNR AND KNVVVKBUR IN S_VKBUR AND KNVV~KDGRP IN S_KDGRP.
    can anyone tell me the problem in the above query.
    thanks.

    Hi
    you are using tables KNA1, KNVV, ADRC, KNVP, pa0002.
    Create internal table for each table mentioned above with all the primary keys and find the links between them
    then select data in one table and select data from another table into your internal table for all the entries exists in firs internal table.
    go for below links.

  • JTree custom renderer setting selection background color problem

    Hi,
    I have a JTree with a custom icon renderer that displays an icon. The JTree is part of a TreeTable component. Iam having a problem setting the selection background uniformly for the entire row. There is no problem when there is no row selected in the JTable.
    My present code looks like this:
    Iam overriding paint in my renderer which extends DefaultCellRenderer.
           super.paint(g);
            Color bColor = null;
            if(!m_selected) {
                 if(currRow % 2 == 0) {
                      bColor = Color.WHITE;
                 } else {
                                                    bColor = backColor;
            } else {
                 bColor = table.getSelectionBackground();                  bColor = getRowSelectionColor();
         if(bColor != null) {
                           g.setColor(bColor);
             if(!m_selected) {
                   g.setXORMode(new Color(0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF));
             } else {
                 g.setXORMode(new Color(0x00, 0x00, 0x00));
                  I have a color I arrive at using some algorithm that I want using method getRowSelectionColor(). The other cells in the row have this color. But the cell containing the tree node shows different color. Iam not able to arrive at the right combination of the color to set and the xor color so my tree node also looks like the other cells in the row.
    It is not a problem really as the table still looks good. Its just that the tree node looks like it has been highlighted and this might cause a problem when a table cell is highlighed later on in the application ( two cells in the row would be highlighted causing confusion).
    Any help would be appreciated.

    vidyut

    Hi Camickr,
    Thanks for the reply. Iam sorry I didn't include the sources the first time around. There were too many of them. I have created a small, self-contained, compilable program that demonstrates the problem and including it herewith. Still there's quite many files but they are all needed Iam afraid. The only one you will have to concern yourself fior this problem is the file IconRenderer.java. The treenode background and the other cells background are not in sync when table row is not selected in this example though. But they are in my real program. I just need them to be in sync i.e have the same background color when the row is selected.
    Your help would be very much appreciated.
    These are the files that are included below:
    1. AbstractTreeTableModel.java
    2. Bookmarks.java
    3. BookmarksModel.java
    4. DynamicTreeTableModel.java
    5. IconRenderer.java
    6. IndicatorRenderer.java
    7. JTreeTable.java
    8. TreeTableExample3.java (contains main)
    9. TreeTableModel.java
    10. TreeTableModelAdapter.java
    The copyright and javadocs information has been stripped for clarity.
    cheers,

    Clearly Acrobat Reader has a problem.  If you point me at the symbols for AcroRd32 I'll help debug it for you since I can repro it easily.

    Here are few solutions:
    1. You can configure firefox to open pdf in external application like acroread. This way plugin problem is bypassed. - I use it this way. It looks to be faster this way.
    2. "C:\nppdf32Log\debuglog.txt" is created every time in directory from where you executed firefox/opera/other browser and opened any pdf file in browser. So this is not only home directory. You can fix this problem by yourself by hex editing nppdf.so file and replacing C:\nppdf32Log\debuglog.txt path in this file with /dev/null path. See my post here for detailed instructions: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1253800

  • JComboBox selection and highlight problem of the selected item

    Hi,
    I have a question how can I make my newly added item to the combo-box selectable and highlighted. I am adding new items to my custom comboBox dynamically and I want whatever item I add to be selected by default. I am using my own custom ComboBoxModel that extends AbstractListModel and implements ComboBoxModel and TreeModelListener, and my custom Renderer that extends JLabel and implements ListCellRenderer. Because I am trying to get a tree structure in my comboBox model and that's why I have my own custom model and renderer. Now when I add a new node or item to my comboBox it is being added and shown in the combo-box textField, but as soon I pull down the combo-box my parent directory is selected though my current selection is the last node added. That's how I am adding new nodes and making it selectable
    treeModel.insertNodeInto(tempNode, (DefaultMutableTreeNode)nodeCollection.lastElement(), 0);
    int nodeTotal =((CMRGlobals.myTreeGlobals).getModel()).getSize();
    Object lastNode = CMRGlobals.myTreeGlobals).getModel()).getElementAt(nodeTotal - 1);
    ((CMRGlobals.myTreeGlobals).getModel()).setSelectedItem(lastNode);
    when I do this my node is added under my parentNode and is shown in the comboBox but when I try to pull down the combo my parent node is high lighted and when I move out of the combo-box my parent node gets selected and show in the combo-box though I haven't selected it,and the contents of my last node are shown. I am just writing my own custom model that simulates the effect of JTree. I am using these......
    DefaultMutableTreeNode and
    DefaultTreeModel
    and in my JComboBox I am setting my model as
    this.setModel(new myModel(treemodel));
    this.setRenderer(new myRenderer());
    I am building my own FileDialog that just works like FileDialog I have all the functionality except this problem.Thanks for any help. I know I have posted this same thread yesterday but I didn't get any response hoping now may somebody can help me.Thanks again

    never mind I got it
    Thanks

  • Native -- DataFlavor clipboard problem

    I'm trying to access vim specific clipboard data (to get visual block info). This is on windows XP (unix is next) I've registered the formats with addFlavorForUnencodedNative, see java code below. But when I look at all the clipboard flavors, when clipboard contains vim stuff, no vim flavors show up, see output.
    Any ideas of what/where the problem might be?

    In vim, from its os_win32.c, there is
        clip_star.format = RegisterClipboardFormat("VimClipboard2");
        clip_star.format_raw = RegisterClipboardFormat("VimRawBytes");and when a vim copy to clipboard command is issued, in vim's os_mswin.c. Note that cbd->format is clip_start.format, returned from RegisterClipboardFormat above.
    SetClipboardData(cbd->format, hMemVim);
    SetClipboardData(CF_UNICODETEXT, hMemW) != NULL)
    SetClipboardData(CF_TEXT, hMem);When I run the java program I get the following output. First are the mimetype of the 3 native flavors I added; in cb.getAvailableDataFlavors() none of them appear in the 27 flavors available.

          <html:options collection="${myProfile.services}" property="idSoc" labelProperty="descrizione" />
                        </html:select>it doesn't works..the console says
    Cannot find bean under name [it.object.Services@16b5518, it.object.Services@19fdafc]
    I've read the documentation.. but I don't understand if in the collection attribute I can put only the name of a bean that identify a collection...
    I can't use EL?
    I try do use a bean:define and to put its name in the collection attribute
    <bean:define id="myBean" value="${myProfile.services}"/>
                   <html:select property="societaId" >
                             <html:options collection="myBean" property="idSoc" labelProperty="descrizione" />
                        </html:select>but it still doesn't work.. it says
    Cannot create iterator for [it.object.Services@16b5518, it.object.Services@19fdafc]
    what the way to solve this problem
    thanks
    martina

    <html:select>
    <html:optionsCollection name = "myProfile"
    property = "services" value ="idSoc" label =
    "descrizione"/>
    /html:select>yes evnafets
    you're right
    this code works!
    but there's a problem. To simplify this post I say I've a bean with a Collection inside that I want to iterate.
    In my real application I've a session bean with another bean inside that contains the Collection. I've one more level (3 levels instead 2)
    whit the code you suggest I can't search inside it...
    I mean over myProfile I've onother bean that contains it and it's in the session
    bean1 -> myProfile -> List of Services
    from the session I can take by name only the "bean1"
    do you know what's the solution in this case?
    I've used some code like this
    <bean:define id="myBean" name="bean1" property="profilo"></bean:define>
    <html:select>
            <html:optionsCollection name = "myBean" property = "services" value ="idSoc" label = "descrizione"/>
    </html:select>it works..as you suggest I can specify only attribute names so I think this is the right way... or?!
    thanks a lot for yor help

  • MS-SQL - Oracle SELECT INTO conversion problem...

    Under MS-SQL (T-SQL) Select statement is defined as follows:
    SELECT select_list
    [INTO new_table_]
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    FROM table_source
    [WHERE search_condition]
    [GROUP BY group_by_expression]
    [HAVING search_condition]
    [ORDER BY order_expression [ASC | DESC] ]
    Q:How under PL/SQL can one redirect sorted (ORDERed BY) results
    from SELECT query to another table.
    Slawek
    null

    I have asked the question because of the following reason:
    I have a large select query that returns rows from a table in
    different sort orders depending on user inputs, and I wonder if
    there is any way to return just the rows between two specified
    positions.
    I figured that I'm going to either create one temporary table
    with all the data (1000 records for example), sort the data in
    the prefered order and use the rownum method to obtain the row
    range (works fine under T-SQL). Other way is to try an inline
    view that return the rownumber. I can then restrict the numer of
    fields, e.g.
    select empid, rowNumber from emp,
    (select empid as id, rownum as rowNumber from emp) x
    where empid = id
    and rowNumber between 2 and 5
    The problem is that under Oracle the subquery is not allowed to
    have an ORDER BY clause (even if it had, rownum reflects row
    numbers before they were sorted) and there is no SELECT into
    TABLE_NAME.

  • Selection screen validation problem.

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a report with a selection screen.
    The report has 2 radio buttons.The radiobuttons are grouped together.
    My Requirement is to display different blocks based on radio button selection.
    These blocks have mandatory fields.
    The problem is that when I switch from one radiobutton to other.
    It checks for the mandatory fields which I want to avoid.
    The mandatory fields should be checked only when I process the report (F8).
    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance.

  • StarOffice 8 calc - select/delete  range problem

    I use calc for long time till now works fine.
    Lately I encountered a problem when I want to select a range that I defined before, I'm using Data->Select Range.
    but no range name appears at the list for selection.
    I defined few ranges, but none appears.
    The defined ranges show when I use Data->Consolidate but then it is not what I need to do.
    The problem repeats when I want to delete a range (I couldn't find a way to edit it) using Data->Define range.
    Is there a fix for that problem?
    I'm using version 8 (update 9) on a windows Xp Home
    Thanks for your kind help,

    You can specify dynamic WHERE clause in the DELETE statement. Check this SAP online documentation for the same: [http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPDELETE_ITAB_LINES.htm#!ABAP_ADDITION_4@4@].
    Try this:
    DATA: V_COND TYPE STRING.
    V_COND = 'FIELD NOT IN LR_RANGE'.
    DELETE <FS_C> WHERE ( V_COND ).

  • Mandatory Select-options field problem

    Hello Gurus,
    I have the below scenario:
    In my Z report I am having a select-options for material selection(s_matnr) on selection screen and that is a mandatory field.
    But when the user tries to enter the multiple single values by pressing the arrow icon present near the select-option it gives an error message " Fill in all the required entries "
    So the problem is I cannot enter the multiple single values in select-options until and unless I fill s_matnr-low. Once I fill s_matnr low then its allowing to enter multiple standard values.
    And as per the requirement the user must be able to enter the multiple single values in s_matnr even if s_matnr-low is not populated.
    Is this the standard functionality of SAP or there is some way out of it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sachin,
    Remove the obligatory addition from the declaration of the select-option....
    see the example code below .... it will help you resolve your issue for sure.....
    TABLES : scarr, sscrfields. " Tables sscrfields is a must to be declared in your code...
    SELECT-OPTIONS : carrid FOR scarr-carrid.
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
      LOOP AT SCREEN.
        IF screen-name CS 'CARRID'.
          screen-required = 2.                " though obligatory is not mentioned it will give you tick mark
          MODIFY SCREEN.
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN.
      IF sscrfields-ucomm = 'ONLI'.
        IF carrid IS INITIAL.
          CLEAR sscrfields.
          MESSAGE 'Fill in all required entries' TYPE 'E'.       " once the user press F8 then only this error
    " message will be displayed
        ENDIF.
      ENDIF.
