Gwibber and python3 : no way to make them work together.

Question

After I upgraded my archlinux with python3, gwibber stopped working :
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/gwibber", line 10, in <module>
    import sys, gtk, optparse, dbus, wnck, time
ImportError: No module named gtk
And of course, pygtk is installed.
I tried to rebuild it and get this :
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "setup.py", line 6, in <module>
from DistUtilsExtra.command import *
ImportError: No module named DistUtilsExtra.command
Any idea ?

It used to work, but a change made in pygtk breaks it again :
Cannot run it anymore with last pygtk update on testing :
[fred@fredo-arch gwibber]$ Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/gwibber", line 10, in <module>
import sys, gtk, optparse, dbus, wnck, time
RuntimeError: could not find _PyGtk_API object
And here is the patch which breaks - again - gwibber :

And you're the creator of the patch...
The only workaround I found : using choqok
