I have a outputText tag <h:outputText value="#{displayParts.marketingDesc}" styleClass="marketingText" /> in a jsp page that is not displaying what is in the database I'm connected to. When the page is renedered I'm expecting the outputText to look like this

When the page is renedered I'm expecting the outputText to look like this Your wrong assumption would lead me to believe you do not know much about (X)HTML - which is the very content that you are generating in your JSF page. After all, paste this in a html file and open it in a browser:

is
all
on
one
line.
</body>
</html>You'll be surprised to see the same result as your outputText content.
So if I'm right, I highly recommend you to brush up on your basic HTML + javascript knowledge before going on with JSF. For example, one possible solution to your "problem" can lie in the "pre" html tag, which preserves formatting.

Hello All,
I have a jsp page in that if i click one link it will open another jsp file in a popup. In this jsp i have to display one image that image location i am dynamically creationg and displaying properly in ie6. now i have migrated ie from 6 to 7. so now that image not displaying

Assuming you're using JSF 1.2 and Tomcat 6, you can reference/load images onto your web pages using two different ways:
The first way*
Add image directory (and sub-directories, if required) to your project and include this image directory in your build process via Ant, Maven or whatever tool you used. Disadvantages of this method: 1) Size of your WAR file will grow when you add more images to the image directory e.g. logos, emoticons, banner ads, etc; 2) Can't change images dynamically without having to stop/restart your web server.
The second way*
a) Create an image directory (and sub-directories, if required) on your file system external to your J2EE project. File system here refers to a folder (Windows), or directory (Linux & others). Advantages of this method: 1) Size of WAR file won't be big; 2) You can change images on-the-fly without having to stop/restart your web server.
b) You also need to define the images' path in your web.xml as in the example below:

DataGrid does not display XML data

I am having a problem displaying XMLList data in a DataGrid.
The data is coming from a Tree control, which is receiving it
from a database using HTTPService.
The data is a list of "Job Orders" from a MySQL database,
being formatted as XML by a PHP page.
If it would be helpful to see the actual XML, a sample is

All is going well until I get to the DataGrid, which doesn't
display the data, although I know it is there as I can see it in
debug mode. I've checked the dataField property of the appropriate
DataGrid column, and it appears correct.
Following is a summary of the relevant code.
...An HTTPService named "get_all_job_orders" retrieves
records from a MySQL database via PHP...
...Results are formatted as E4X:

So, I just had to manually go through the selected Tree node,
copy each XML attribute into a simple Array, then ADD this Array to
an ArrayCollection being used as the DataProvider for the DataGrid.
It's not elegant, but it works and I don't have to use a Label
Function, which was getting way too complicated. I still think that
Flex should have an easier way of doing this. There probably is an
easier way, but the Flex documentation doesn't provide an easy path
to it.

out the examples you have at www.cflex.net and they are very
helpful. I bookmarked the site and will be using it as a resource

OID can not display some users - java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException:0
We have set up AD to OID synchronization for users and groups using Import connector, and it worked fine. The users in OID can log into applications protected by OAM. But recently I found that some users that could be displayed in OID before can not be displayed now. If I click on the DN in Oracle Directory Manager, a error window pops up. It is a long error message, and the first a few lines are as follows :

I don't see any error message in the integration profile or log files. I am testing things on an account that is having this trouble, and the strange thing is that it can not log into application protected by OAM any more, but it can log into OAM console.
We use OID 10.1.2.3 on Windows, and OAM 10.1.4.0.1.
I searched in Metalink but didn't find anything helpful. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Yes I do see some pattern. There is one change on the problem user's dn - the "\" after the last name is gone.
Before: cn=smith\, john, cn=users,dc=abc,dc=com
Now: cn=smith, john, cn=users,dc=abc,dc=com
However I check in Active directory "\" is presented. In OID if I right click on cn=smith, john and try to delete it, I got a error message "LDAP: error code 34 - Error in DN Normalization". Is that caused by the missing of "\"?

This user can log into OAM identity system, but when I click on "My profile" under "User manager", I got a error message "You do not have sufficient access rights".
If I log into identity system as orcladmin, I was able to modify it and save the changes. But in OID the user is still not displayed. Same error message. When I tried to add it as administrator, I could search on it, add it, but when I press "done", it didn't show up on the admin list. The users that can be displayed in OID can be added to admin list without a problem.

Question: My spry menu bar is not displaying correctly in Dreamweaver

I am new to Dreamweaver CS5, so coding isn't my area of expertise. My problem with my spry menu bar is that it does not display the tabs on the menu bar correctly. When I try to apply new changes to the CSS of the horizontal menu bar, half of the tabs will change and the other half will not. Also, I am unable to drag and move the menu bar itself around, a function that I was once able to do before. At times, only one tab of the menu bar will display itself, without any of the other tabs as well.
I have a hunch that my problems stem from some coding errors in the SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css, and possibly in the SpryMenuBar.js. On the CSS Styles panel, my SpryMenuBarHorizontal.CSS list reads as follows:
I also have a hunch that something about this line-up is also incorrect, but I don't exactly know what the problem is.

I'm not sure if I have to keep making a new spry assets folder in my website or not or if I have to drag and drop the spry assets into the root folder. I have restarted my website over at least a dozen times by now. I have tried changing folders, dragging and dropping various spry assets folders everywhere and I have also uninstalled and reinstalled my copy of Dreamweaver CS5 in the hopes of getting my spry horizontal menu bar to act normal. I am completely new at Dreamweaver and I really, really need some help with this.

I'm not sure what to make of these messages. I tried to put a new spry horizontal menu bar on my main page, and when it appeared, it displayed as a spry vertical menu bar.

SSRS report not displaying data in correct order
Guys,
I have a SSRS 2012 report not displaying returned records from SQL in the correct order. Running the stored procedure in SSMS and supplying the parameter values returns the data correctly and running Query Designer in SSRS using the stored procedure
on the dataset in question, likewise returns the data correctly. Only when I run the actual report does the data display incorrectly(always last name order). I've done similar reporting using very similar stored procedures and I've never had this
problem. Below is the stored procedure. "@SortBy" is the parameter with the sorting value. 1=Due Date; 2=Denial Amt and 3=Last name and is passed by SSRS to SQL. Wish I could supply screen shots.

According to your description, when you render data in report, you find it always shows the data with unexpected order. Right?
In Reporting Services, if we don't set any sorting in tablix, it will order the data as your query in SSMS or Query Builder. In some scenario, for example, we add parent group for data rows, it will have the rows sort by the group on data field by default,
and the "order by" in your query will be ignored. So please check the Sorting tab in Tablix Properties, in this scenario, we suggest you delete any sorting in the Sorting tab so that the "Order By" clause can work.

Error raised using 'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT' not displayed in Web UI

I have implemented the badi CRM_ORDERADM_H_BADI and based on certain conditions i raise an exception and display the error message using function module 'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT'. The application log is populated with the error message and I am able to see the error message in SAP GUI . However when the same transaction is triggered via WebUI , even thought the exception is raised , the error message is not displayed.
I know i can use the method ADD_MESSAGE of the class CL_CRM_GENIL_GLOBAL_MESS_CONT if i want the error message to be displayed in Web UI .
However I want the message to be displayed either if the transaction is run from the SAP GUI or web UI .
Have anyone come across the similar situation , is there something I am missing.

I got the solution . The error message was raised properly . The problem is message filter at every view or viewset of a component is actually switched off by default.With standard components the filter gets activated at runtime if the component controller contains a BOL entity.
In our case , since it was a custom component with no BOL entity the filter was switched off and hence the messages from the application level were not read.
Therefore we redefined the filter method IF_BSP_WD_STATE_CONTEXT~GET_MESSAGE_FILTER at the view/viewset level and turned on the filter by default.hence even if the component does not return an entity the message filter gets activated.

was recently sent a very large emoji message amd now when i try to acces messages it will not display mesagges and then will bring me back to the home page
Quit the messages app and reset your phone.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it jiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
After the phone restarts go into Messages and delete the thread containing the problem message. -
JDialog not displaying correctly
Hi all,
Im having this problem with displaying a JDialog. I have a lengthy delay in my app and want to display an animated GIF while the user is waiting. The below code is what im trying to run. The JDialog wil display, but the title text, message text and the ImageIcon are not displayed on the JDialog. Anyone know what is wrong? Do i have to wait on the Image to load before i .show the dialog? But that wouldn't explain why the text doesn't show. Any help appreciated

}I fear the problem isn't with the JDialog itself, everything is from from that point of view. I forgot to mention that if you set it as Modal, it will display fine (however, the modal method is blocking, meaning the createNetConnection method will not be executed until the dialog is closed, entirly defeating the purpose.
I believe the problem is that the createNetConnection function stops the rest of the JDialog from loading. So i guess my question to begin with is, is there anyway to completly display and paint the JDialog before allowing it to continue onto the next function? -

We don't use Oracle DB roles to grant users access to Forms from the menu. We use a template and role system of our own. Basically a few tables with templates and roles.
We want to convert our normal Forms menu to a tree menu and one of our key requirements is that when the tree is populated ONLY nodes with programs (i.e. forms) he has been granted to execute is shown.
Since we don't use Oracle Roles how to do this in a tree?
I created a function to show/hide LEAF nodes, BUT problem is that there are sub-menu nodes showing even if the leaf-nodes under it has not being displayed. My function has suppressed it.
My tree query is like this:

Hopefully someone can help me. I am currently running Crystal Reports profession version 10. I have applied service pack 1 and recently service pack 6. I am having a problem with the display of a report within adobe. My report is a bit complex. It is a 8.5x11 one page landscape report. It is set up in a grid format with multiple lines and boxes drawn on it. Here is the report information: Report Definition----

I use the report within a web project. The user requests the report and it returns to the user, an adobe file of the report. However, this is where I am having trouble. On my local development machine, the report displays fine. In CR developer, the report displays fine. When I export the report to Adobe from the CR Developer, it exports fine. BUT when I run the report from my web site, the adobe file that is returned is broken up over 42 pages. What seems to be actually happening is the return adobe file seems to think that the page size is 2in X 4in.. Where it got that, I don't know.The server running IIS is a windows server 2003. It has adobe 8.0 reader on it. I also have Crystal 10 Server Distribution loaded on it. And I have loaded CR10 Service pack 6 on that as well. Updateable Report/Pagination - rows found but not displayed
Bear with me if there is a post that covers this, as the SEARCH facility seems to be hanging when I search on Pagination.
I have a SQL Query (PL/SQL Function Body Returning SQL Query) which creates an Updatable Report.
If I run the Query and the selection criteria results in more than one page in the "search results" and then I go to page 2 or page 3, etc and then peform another search that only results in 1 page of "search results", the actual search results will not display, but the pagination will show the number of rows that should be displaying.
For example, I search on Coroner "John Black", which returns 55 rows. The first 50 are displayed. The next 5 are on page 2. If I then searchon Coroner "Jim Bean", 22 rows are returned (all on page 1). If I then search on "John Black" again, and this time, go to page 2 (to see the final 5 rows in the result set) and then search on "Jim Bean", I won't get any data in the report for Jim Bean, but a message showing that there are 22 rows of data. However, I cannot get that data to show (even if I select NEXT or PREVIOUS for the pages.
Then if I go back and select on "John Black", get the same problem. I basically have to sign out completely in order to get this reset.
Note that the problem occurs if you are on a page greater than that of the result set on the next query. For example, if I am on page 3 of 5 pages and perform another selection that has 3 pages, it is fine. But if the result set only has 2 pages, the form becomes confused.
If the "Layout and Pagination" has a "Pagination Scheme" set to "Row Ranges X to Y of Z (no pagination)" I get an error like "Minimum row requested: 2401, rows found but not displayed: 46".
If I use "Row ranges 1-15 16-30 (with set pagination)" I get "1-46" as a hyperlink, which if I click on, will show me the report.
If I use "Row ranges 1-15 16-30 in select list (with pagination) I have a problem.
If I use "Row Ranges X to Y (no pagination) I have problems.
If I use "Row Ranges X to Y of Z (no pagination) I have problems.
If I use "Row Ranges X to Y of Z (with pagination) I have problems.
Basically, the one one that seems to work is those that have a hyperlink. Uing NEXT, PREVIOUS or a select list does not seem to work.
Do you know what is causing this problem?I have the same issue, but cannot resolve it following above suggestions. I have a report page with search criteria and a "Go" button to submit the search. The branch back to the same page has "reset pagination for this page" checked, but still if run a query that returns just one row after having paged forwards, I get no rows displayed and a pagination link "1-1" that when clicked brings up the selected row.
I tried adding a "Reset Pagination" process to run on submit (unconditionally), and it made no difference.
I am using HTMLDB 2.0.
