Had to reinstall PS CS3 and lost link to LR2

I had to reinstall Adobe common files because of a problem with a crucial file. Now LR 2.6 says it can't launch CS3 (altho CS3 is open already)
Any ideas what to do?

You don't mention what OS you use, but in windows 7 (and I think vista but I can't check it) you can go into control panel/programs and features and there is a repair option for Lightroom. I'm not sure what all it does but it would be worth a try.

If you are using Help 》updates, it is outdated. You can however go to Product Updates on the Adobe.com website and download your updates there. I am not at my desk b<t when I get back, I'll get the links unless someone else can do that sooner.

I have taken all apple products off my computer per other suggestions, I have run malwarebytes with no viruses found, and have even tried installing itunes as a different user on my computer but get the same message everytime.

I had to have my computer fixed and had to reinstall my itunes and now it won't let me burn or put any of my songthat i have emported off my cd's. only the songs i have bought from iturnes. can anyone help with this problem.

Why will it not let you add them? What specifically are you trying to do, please provide steps.
Frankly, the only thing that should need to be done it restore the iTunes folder from the backup onto the computer. There is no reason to add or import anything.

It should be like the very first time you synced your phone with I-Tunes. It will notice you haven't synced before and just copy everything from your phone into I-Tunes. It shouldn't delete anything from the phone, at least it never has for me. It just puts a copy of everything into I-Tunes and even if you delete an app for example from your phone and you decide you want it back later, you can just go back into I-Tunes and copy it back over. Hope this helps.

You should be storing everything on your computer and you should always backup your computer. Have you failed to do these things?
If so, not good, then you can redownload some iTunes purchases in some countries. Open iTunes store, click Purchased under Quick links
