Handle pop pup screen in BDC background
Hi Experts,
I doing XD01 bdc,in foreground ,
based on one conditon i am getting pop pup screen and i need to select first record from the pop pup. It is working fine in foreground because we pressing ENTER key.
I want ot handle in background. How to do it.
Any suggestions.

Hi harsha,
First thing to do is record the process using sm35. Click on Recording > New Recording. Enter your transaction code.
Follow through with the process and see what steps are performed.
For the ENTER click, you should see:
BDC_OKCODE =ENTR
You then also need to look at the line before this that says: BDC_CURSOR (and whatever value it has recorded).
Insert this code into your BDC and the step should work properly.

Problem with pop-up screens in BDC
I have recorded a transaction in SHDB.
when i run the recording from SHDB, it is running fine,...but after I transfer the recording to a program or function module and then run it, the second screen which is a pop up screen is not getting displayed.

OK, I encountered this before. There are two scenarios here:
1. The screen pop up. (Because this is the first time you get into the transaction for this login session.).
2. The screen will not pop up. (Because this might be the second time or after, you get into the transaction.)
In the second case, because the parameter ID (or what ever SAP's memory is holding) got the value after the fist time entry through the pop up, so it wouldnt pop up again. You have to select it from the menu and enter it if you want to change the value. I believe there is a place for you to change the value.
So, now, come to your BDC. Your BDC records could only handle one of the case.
To cater for both cases, I did a Dummy BDC (which did nothing on the transaction, using the RED Cancel ( 'BDC_OKCODE' '/EEESC'.)button.), fill in everything required, then press cancel button.
Then only, do your actual processing. This time, remember to fill in your value of the pop up window through the menu button to invoke the pop up.
Bellow is my dummy BDC:

I seen one post on how to handle popups.
the post is like this...
Many times in transaction pop-up screen appers and for this screen you dont pass any record but some indication to system telling it to proceed further.
For example u have a screen (pop up) with YES, NO Buttons on it.
To handle such screen, system has provided a variable called BDC_CURSOR. we pass this variable to BDC_DATA and process the screen.
Usually such screen appers in many transactions, in this you are just passing information that YES you want to save the information, that means YES should be clicked. so you are transferring the information to BDCDATA i.e., field name of YES, which is usually SPOP_option. Instead of BDC_OKCODE. you are passing BDC_CURSOR.

I checked transaction PA40, but I am not getting any pop up message. Have you done the recording for PA40 in SHDB? I think in recording, you just need to press enter if any pop up comes. One more suggestion, instead of BDC, a function module ''HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION' can be used for HR infotype update. I have used the same FM forinfotype 0017( travel privileges) update.

Don't worry about information popup box.
Go to SHDB transaction and record the transaction for which u want write BDC using bdc recording. That will handle all the screens accordingly.

With this code what is happening is, when user double clicks a line on Pop-up screen with ALV grid data, the program is able to successfully get into the class implementation but the control is not going to PAI module to execute the OK_code handling part.

I am doing the LSMW-Recording for Pricing Conditions.there are so many condition types are there.
my problem is while uploading the data from flat file,if record alredy exists in SAP system, it will display one Pop up screen, says "the record already exists do you want to overlap it".so that time it has to hit enter and has to overlap the existing records.
can any one please help me..this is very urget to me.

I have written a report using BDC for tcode CO11 thru recording using CALL TRANSACTION.
Case 1:
If I go to transaction CO11 (screen number 100) and give the order number which has more than 1 operations to be partially confirmed and press ENTER a pop-up screen (screen number 140) appears where in I need to select the operation number and after selecting the required operation number it automatically takes me to another screen (screen number 150).
Case 2:
If I go to transaction CO11 (screen number 100) and give the order number which has only 1 operation to be partially confirmed and press ENTER it directly takes me to screen 150 skiping screen 140.
When I enter the order number which has more than 1 operations to be partially confirmed on my selection screen, my code is working fine as needed.
But, when I enter the order number which has 1 operation to be partially confirmed on my selection screen, it is giving me error in my BDCMSGCOLL saying that the screen 140 doesn't exist.
Is there any way, Can I skip screen 140 using IF statement?
My thoughts:
1. calling screen 100.
After calling screen 100, I have put the pop-up operation numbers in an ITAB.
DESCRIBE table lines ITAB <variable>.
At NEW <order-field>.
IF <variable> = 1.
2. calling screen 140. "I need some help here to skip the screen 140
" Will this logic work?
ENDIF.
ENDAT.
3. calling screen 150.
Rest everything is working fine.
Will my above logic works correctly? I would appreciate if someone could help me with this.

Try something like this:
1. Call Screen 100.
Check if screen 140 needs to be called depending on your custom logic. Lets say you populate a variable as 'X' if it needs to be called.
Then write:
if valiable = 'X'.
Call screen 140.
Enter Screen 140 details.
endif.
Call screen 150.
Here the 'Call Screen' is nothing but the code you extracted after BDC recording.

Pop up screen for stock overview in ME51n through user-exit/BADI
Hi,
User wants that at time of Purchase Requisition creation for any material system should give a pop up window of stock details to provide the status on inventory.
For stock summary the t code u201CMMBEu201D for combination of plant and material should run in background and produce output in pop up window. Basically MMBE report output is required for each item line in a pop up window.
Can this be done through user-exit. I have implemented many user-exits but not sure about the report output in a pop up screen through a user-exit.
The material stock ia already available under menu enviornment - Material stock(MMBE) but user wants the stock as soon as the material is enetered.

Step 1 (Create new structure for table control)
Type is name of structure (ZTC_EKKO) and press create
Step 2 (Create Program)
Goto transaction SE80(Object Navigator) -> Repository Browser -> Program.
Enter your program name, please ensure that is begins with SAPMZ as this is a module pool (dialog program).
Press enter to create, and press yes!
Ensure that you create a top include, and press Enter.
Accept the name created for the top include.
Press Enter.
Press Save
Step 3 (Create TOP include)
Double click on the top include and enter following ABAP code:
Tables: ZTC_EKKO.
controls: tc100 type tableview using screen 100.
data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
data: it_ekko type standard
table of ZTC_EKKO initial size 0,
wa_ekko type ZTC_EKKO.
data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
Press Save and Activate
Step 4 (Create screen)
Right click the program to create a screen 100 for the dialog. Enter Short description, set screen type to Normal and enter 0 or blank into Next screen. Then move to Element List tab and enter the OK code as OK_CODE (i.e. the same as what you declared in the top include with data: ok_code type sy-ucomm).
Step 5 (Create table control)
Press the Layout button to bring up the screen painter editor.
Press table control button and drag it on to the screen, enter the name of table control created in TOP include (TC100). Now press the yellow button for attributes and set the table control as below options
Step 6 (Populate table control )
Press the orange button (Fields). On the next screen enter ZTC_EKKO and press the Get from Dict button. Select the fields you want (all) and press enter. Now drag them onto your Table Control.
Below is the result, there will been syntax errors if we check now! So Save and go back into the flow logic tab.
Step 7 (Create flow control )
Within the flow logic of screen 100 and create two modules, one to select the data from the database and the other to move the selected fields into the table control. Also insert the two loop statements to populate and retrieve the lines of the table control.

Adding selection Parameters to the POP-UP Screen
Hi my requirement is i need to add all the line items netweight and gross weight and need to show the total line items in a pop up window when i press enter after entering the line items in ME21N.
Here iam using the user exit : EXIT_sapmm06e_016 .
It is working fine But now i need to add selection parameters in this pop up window.
The two selection parametes are Shipping Point and Shipping Condition.
So how to add selection parameters in POP UP Screen and how it will be updated in ME21N Line items,.in ur custom defined screen, you can add the selection parameter which wouldbe called within ZXM06U41.
Validate ur entries.. and you can make use of BAPI/ BDC to update those details in ME21N -
If I click on an e-mail address link in a web page instead of a blank message opening I always get a pop up screen with a log-in for googlemail. I do not have and do not want a googlemail account. I just want to be able to send e-mails using Outlook.
OUtlook was already set as the mail client for FF, and is my operating system (XP)'s default mail programme. therefore problem not solved at all. what I get whenever I follow a link in a webpage to send an e-mail is a little pop up window asking me to sign in to gmail or open an account. any other suggestions?

Pop-up screen not showing while accessing transactions in SAP CRM WEB-UI
When we are logging on SAP CRM WEB UI, for transactions like Lead, Complaints and Activities-
Sometimes Pop up screen is showing for selecting transaction types, but sometimes it is not showing.
We have tried it on different work stations with same user id and standard business roles , but we are not able to trace the problem. Also with same id sometimes error shows, "No business roles attached, not allowed to logon,
after that when we tried on other workstation with same id we were able to access all transactions.
Please suggest what would be the problem.
RishikeshThis is sporadically occurring issue hence I cannot pin point one single reason. Since sometimes you are able to logon and some time not certainly it could not be a Role authorization issue.
Just check if your business role is properly configured. Thats all i can say.

Hi there. I also bought an iWires mini Display port to HDMI cable and have an LG LED/LCD TV. I plugged it in to my MB Pro and followed the very small writing that came in the package and got both audio and video going. You need to change the audio settings from within System Preferences on your Mac to select your TV as the audio output.
My concern is the data latency - do you experience a delay between moving your mouse on the MBPro and the TV displaying the movement? It is only a fraction of a second, but certainly enough to be annoying, especially in a cable as expensive as the iWire. -

I am having a problem with my Mac OS X 10.7.5 mac book air , there are constant pop pups and small windows with ads blinking constantly opening up on my safari in front of everything?? it is constantly interupting me and makes me mistakingly click on it then another new windows open behind the one im using..

If you require anti-virus protection Thomas Reed recommends using Dr.Web Light from the App Store. It's free, and since it's from the App Store, it won't destabilize the system. If you prefer one of the better known commercial products, then Thomas recommends using Sophos.(Thank you to Thomas Reed for these recommendations.) If you already use Sophos, then be aware of this if you are using Mavericks: OS X Mavericks- Sophos Anti-Virus on-access scanner versions 8.0 - 9.1 may cause unexpected restarts

The facts are:
1. There is no anti-malware software that can detect 100% of the malware out there.
2. There is no anti-malware that can detect anything targeting the Mac because there
is no Mac malware in the wild, and therefore, no "signatures" to detect.
3. The very best way to prevent the most attacks is for you as the user to be aware that
the most successful malware attacks rely on very sophisticated social engineering
techniques preying on human avarice, ****, and fear.
4. Internet popups saying the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on
your computer is intended to entice you to install their malware thinking it is a
protection against malware.
5. Some of the anti-malware products on the market are worse than the malware
from which they purport to protect you.
6. Be cautious where you go on the internet.
7. Only download anything from sites you know are safe.
8. Avoid links you receive in email, always be suspicious even if you get something
you think is from a friend, but you were not expecting.
9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume it is malware.
