how to get a hard enter into a csv file?
when i open the generated csv file in notepad, there apears a squere sign.
how to get a "real" enter ??

It will depend on what you are using to generate the CSV. If you are using VBScript, for example, you would use vbCrLf. The ASCII would be Chr(13) + Chr(10)

If you mean that you are being redirected to enter the password, you are now to the point where you have to restore the iPad. But frankly, I'm not sure I totally understand what you are saying.
if you saw the iTunes logo and the USB cable of the iPad screen - that means that you have to restore the iPad. Is that what you are seeing? If so, and you keep being instructed to enter the password, you will have to use Recovery Mode to restore the iPad. Instructions here.

Upgraded OS: How Can I Get iCloud Photo Library or Photostream to Sync to a Dedicated Mac Folder?

I'm totally frustrated and confused even after Googling. Hopefully someone can help me understand what it is Apple wants me to do.
As of yesterday, when I took a photo or uploaded a photo to any of my devices, it would transmit via Photostream to all my other Apple devices (iPad, another iPhone, Windows PC, and MBP).
Now I found it infinitely frustrating that while the photos would neatly deposit themselves in a specific Photostream folder on each device, even my PC has a dedicated Photostream folder provided by Apple's iCloud app for PC, there was no such folder or provision for Macs!
In order to access my Photostream on my MBP, I either had to open Aperture or iPhoto, or go to iCloud.com and then import the photo.
I upgraded to iOS8 on my primary phone to finally to take advantage of iCloud Photo Library and have the photos sent directly to my Mac's (running Yose) iCloud Drive folder --- or so I thought. Not only do I not get photos on my Mac's iCloud Drive Folder, it seems to have broken the link between my other devices!
To add injury to insult, my Phone sent me a "Could not back up - iCloud Storage almost full" message. Considering I had 2GB of iCloud storage available, I was shocked to read the fine print on iCloud Photo Library ... it uses your iCloud's storage, unlike Photostream which is totally free.
Is there any way or program anyone has found to deliver a seamless and intelligent Photostream folder on a Mac that behaves seamlessly and intelligently as it does with Apple's PC iCloud App and iOS native Photostream?

Printing on an HP Laserjet 5M through a Windows XP PC

Hi,
At our office we're running 10.3 and 10.4, as well as Windows XP.
The XP computers are hooked up to the printer (HP Laserjet 5M & HP Deskjet 820 Cxi For Windows).
Now, I've gotten my Mac (running 10.4) to actually see and communicate with the printer, but when it starts printing I get a single line of code, followed by umpteen blank pages.

I'm assuming this is because though both my Mac and the PC have the correct drivers installed, the combination of drivers isn't working. Any ideas what to do?

It's been a while since I installed those things. I'd take a look at the hpijs web page and be sure to follow the instructions - is it possible you have the wrong version of something? Have you selected the driver that says hpijs in its name? Maybe your printer is one of the unfortunate ones that somehow got left out of the package -- no problem, get (download) the ppd and use the driver choice "other" in Printer Setup to navigate to that ppd and choose it.
What you have described is again postscript output, meaning that the Mac is bypassing ghostscript and sending postscript to the PC to be passed to the printer.

How can I get iCloud to sync between iOS 6.1.3, OSX 10.6.8 and OSX 10.8.3?

I am running both OSX 10.6.8 and OSX 10.8.3 on my iMac with iOS 6.1.3 on my iPod Touch.
Everything is checked ON in the iCloud settings where those are available, in iOS, OSX 10.8 and in iCloud.com on my OSX 10.6.8 system.
I either get no synchronisation, or a duplication of events. Apple Store Events which need to be clumsily downloaded from the website, double clicked on and hopefully added to Calendar, only randomly appear and rarely get announced. I can't see a pattern to anything.
It currently won't sync between iCloud.com and Address Book, Calendar etc on the Mac let alone with iDevices (my wife has an iPad as well), despite partially syncing previously.
It is erratic, obscure and totally unreliable as well as being a huge waste of my time.
If I follow the iTunes instructions as well as the iCloud.com instructions generally nothing happens.
In the Advanced pane of iCloud.com settings, I have selected the “In-app notifications” checkbox, and Saved. Doesn't work. Then I unselected and saved and closed iCloud.com. Then checked it all over again, still doesn't work.
According to the settings it says it is sharing with the iPod Touch, but nothing happens.
Previously a few events appeared belatedly at some later time, often after the event they were supposed to announce. Currently nothing is syncing.
Most frustratingly I can't sync my Address Book/Contacts so have to manually include all the contact info in all my individual devices and systems.
Has anybody got a surefire method of making the sync happen?

Mapping: CR (\n) tag in XML node gives # sign in R/3

My flow is JDBC to R/3 via a BAPI call. I have a problem transporting carriage returns (hard enters) from my DB table to R/3. IN XI the CR comes in as '\n' sign, afterwards it's mapped to the BAPI but when the BAPI is executed in R/3 the CR becomes a '#' sign in my textfield.
I already tried more then 30 possibilities in a UDF function:
Replace \n by: \r\n , \r , System.setProperty("line.separator", "\r\n") , #xD , #xA , \xD , \xA ,  , 
 0D0A , %0D0A% , ...
I also tried with 2,3 or even 4 backward slashes...nothing gives me a real CR (or linefeed in UNIX?) in my textfield in the backend system.
Anyone experience with transporting CR/LF signs via PI to your backend system?

Saving custom tone mappings

I'm trying to save custom tone mapping curves for later reference and use. I can record the "action" of constructing the curve in Image > Adjustments > Curves and applying it to an image. Unfortunately the "actions" panel does an incomplete job of describing this. Instead of reporting where all 16 control points were set, it reports the resulting first 72 of the 256 mappings, like so:

The ellipsis is Photoshop's, not mine.
How to verify what's in an already created mapping curve "action"? I can make a tone scale, apply the mapping to it, and then take RGB data off the result. There must be a simpler way than that. Where are custom "actions" stored? Can the files be read? Can they be edited?
Also is there any way to input a tone mapping curve purely numerically and skip the control points business?

Saving the action set did produce an .atn file, here attached.
It's hardly gibberish. Notepad shows how it works. BinEditor 2.0 reveals it completely.
Look at what precedes the repeating word "long" (written 6C 6F 6E 67). After 32 (written 20) comes 34 (written 22), then 35, 36, 37, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45, 47, 48, ...

How can I get PE9 to backup? Stops at step 1 and goes no further.

I have never been able to get PE9 to back up. As a result I back up in My Pictures. I like to file the pictures in different folders. When I do that PE9 will look for "missing files" when I return to PE9. This whole process is a pain. Any help? I am ready to switch programs.

How do I fix %E2%80%8% when pasting in Address Bar?

Whenever I copy a nonhyperlinked web address to a specific image, video, forum post, etc. and paste it in the address bar and press return, the page does not display. When I view the history it is adding characters %E2%80%8% in the sublink information area.
For example if I want to visit a posted youtube video the link will look something like youtube.com/watch?v=gGqQgal-BcI4 and instead will display it as youtube.com/watch?v=gGqQgal-BcI%E2%80%8%B4 (yes I know the http is absent and the example may
not be a real video link - this is only to serve as an example of what is happening) when pasting a direct (non-hyper) link from somewhere into the address bar, hitting enter and viewing the history.
Given everything I have tried, I am sure it is not a third-party (addon) feature. I have tried: Disabling ALL addons, turning off all startup services and programs, deleting temp files/internet cookies/temporary/history. I have reset all internet settings
- including the advanced tab and there has been no change in the result. Even if I copy and paste it in a search bar and the recopy/paste it in the address bar the result does not change. The only work-around I have found is copy the desired link in a
word type program such as MS Word 2010 and then pressing spacebar or hard-enter so the link becomes hyperlinked. Then I right-click and left-click open hyperlink.
Any other solutions would be appreciated.

Seems like some factor (a software on the system or URL redirection policy, etc.,) appending extra characters to the URLs. You may want to have a capture of procmon while you run into the issue which should give you a possible i\hint on what going
around URL load.
BTW, Is this happening for a particular user or all users on the system? Was that system working fine for that user in the recent past?

HP ProBook 4720s - Keyboard problem

Hello all,
Recently I've bought HP Probook 4720s, and sometimes keyboard stops working normally, some buttons not print on the screen (in any editor, notepad or ms word etc)
For example, if I print 10 times button "1" then "enter" in notepad, and repeat that several times, result will be:

PC system is Windows 7 Ultimate, BIOS is 16/09/2010, same problem occurs in Safe Mode.

Help with code please

Hi, I am new to Java and am trying to write a program for a class, but I can't seem to get it to work correctly.
The program is supposed to ask you to enter "A,B,C, or Q" and be case sensitive. If you enter A,B,C you get a message, if you enter Q it quits the program and if you enter anything else you are supposed to get an error message. It is supposed to keep looping the program until the user enters Q. We are supposed to use Do--While and If-Else loops.

Can't see my new iMac on my PC's thru my wireless network.

I can see both pc laptops on my iMac and the laptops can see each other.
But. I can't see the iMac on my pc laptops.
I would like to share ALL files and folders not just my public file.
Any help would be appreciated, I've been working at it for 2.5hours.

Yeah, you will have to obtain the mac's IP address on the local network in System Preferences>Sharing, and 'hard enter' that in to the PC side's Network Neighborhood depending on your OS. One thing to keep in mind is susceptibility to intruders/viruses whenever you open up and share, say 'everything' as you said. Just throwing bit of caution. Lots of variables here..

I can only give some hints since I don't know in detail what you want to achieve:
- are the additional fields characteristics, key figures or only technical fields you need
- are the additional fields key fields of the table to be created
- is the contents of c_th_data only for reference or will you change something there or even add records
In ABAP you can create any internal table you can imagine on the fly, based on existing run time objects or by hand. The methods to use are RTTI ( run time type information), e.g. in SE24 read the documentation of CL_ABAP_TYPEDESCR.
When you need c_th_data only as a reference and you know your additional fields at implementation time of your exit (this seems to be the type l_modif_c_th_data), then you can link your table and c_th_data by a reference technique. You don't need RTTI here.
