Has anyone ever had an email from Apple on IPad asking them to update their account details? The email seems genuine enough as it asks you to sign in with your Apple ID and password and takes you through to the Apple site but am a bit worried as they ask you in the section Update Your Apple account for bank and credit card details and for the security number on the back of the card. Also in the section where it asks for my mobile number it will only take 10 numbers and when ai try to put in the final (11th number) it won't let me. Sorry am new to all this and a bit confused! Has anyone else had problems with there iTunes account? I have downloaded numerous ringtones

i have downlloaded numerous ringtones from iTunes and then they disappear within hours.
I Have sunk my phone into iTunes library on my desktop and it still allows them to vanish. I have the iPhone 6 and I have reported numerous problems and they re download but then disappear again. I went to Apple store and they see my phone is having a software issue but said to call apple for a refund, to rebuy my purchases. Is anyone else having problems ?

I have also experienced this. I've downloaded the 'No Surprises' ringtone by Radiohead three times and every time I get charged for the ringtone by iTunes and every time it disappears after a while. This is really strange... I haven't talked to anyone at Apple about this, but I checked these forums out just now and, it seems, I'm not the only one with this problem.
I'm using my brand new iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.1.1 and I'm thinking it's a software-related problem too...

I'm running Itunes 10.4.1 on iOS 4.3.5. All of this is running on an 8 year old hp pavillian laptop running XP Pro that is fully updated. Could my phone have a bug or a hardware problem. Are there any known problems with iOS 4.3.5? Pretty frustrating problem so I'm hoping that someone has heard of this and can offer some suggestions on a solution. Thanks a bunch.

Did you used to have service and now suddenly you don't?
This happened to me a few years back, and several other iPhone users in my neighborhood, and after a while on the phone with AT&T they figured out that a technician had recently adjusted the receiver/sender on the tower and it was slightly off. They sent them back up and I actually had a better signal after than I did before it went out.
I would call AT&T and explain the issue you are having and see if they can fix it.
If you never had service there then like wjosten said it's probably just a bad zone.

You cannot deauthorize computers you do not have access to EXCEPT for when you reach your max authorizations of 5 and then only once per year.
If you need the authorizations back (you have 5 computers?) simply deauthorize all (click here -> About authorizations and deauthorizations)

Have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.
