Has anyone ever had the quit message consistantly occur when 6 minutes of no activity takes place ? I have reinstalled the OX and spent 3 hours with applecare with no resolution....

I have been receiving the shut down signal continually every ~6 minutes now for two weeks. Apple care is unable to fix the problem....did the OS reload, and other permissions fixs without success......any help is appreciated.

We did the typical diagnostics with everything coming back clean after the first run of disc repairs. I also ran Onyx with no problems discoverd. Did a number of reboots and Pram reboots and finally reloaded the OS. They suggested that we completely wipe the drive and start fresh with a time machine backup. However this would take hours so........ any other option is preferable and I think our reload off the time machine will restart the problem.

Apple will not replace the glass. Instead, they will replace your iPod for a refurbished one for:

While shutting down a Mac OS9 g4 it crashed and i got the error message "your heat is probably corrupt". I cant find any reference to this anywhere, so if anybody has any helpful info it would be much appreciated

The "fix" is to stop using the program that seems to be causing this problem, such as Internet Explorer, and find a substitute. Thus the importance of keeping a log of what you are using so that you can catch the culprit, or at least develop a preponderance of evidence that a particular Application program is the problem.
Meanwhile, you can make sure you are using the latest versions available by checking manufacturer web sites.

The email seems genuine enough as it asks you to sign in with your Apple ID and password and takes you through to the Apple site but am a bit worried as they ask you in the section Update Your Apple account for bank and credit card details and for the security number on the back of the card. Also in the section where it asks for my mobile number it will only take 10 numbers and when ai try to put in the final (11th number) it won't let me. Sorry am new to all this and a bit confused! Has anyone ever had a problem with their iphone 4 not syncing and/or writing a backup file? Itunes locks up when i attempt a sync as well as when I transfer my purchases from my phone to Itunes. I'm running Itunes 10.4.1 on iOS 4.3.5. All of this is running on an 8 year old hp pavillian laptop running XP Pro that is fully updated. Could my phone have a bug or a hardware problem. Are there any known problems with iOS 4.3.5? Pretty frustrating problem so I'm hoping that someone has heard of this and can offer some suggestions on a solution. Thanks a bunch.

Did you used to have service and now suddenly you don't?
This happened to me a few years back, and several other iPhone users in my neighborhood, and after a while on the phone with AT&T they figured out that a technician had recently adjusted the receiver/sender on the tower and it was slightly off. They sent them back up and I actually had a better signal after than I did before it went out.
I would call AT&T and explain the issue you are having and see if they can fix it.
If you never had service there then like wjosten said it's probably just a bad zone.

This still doesn't make sense. The iPhone 4 may have come with a number of different versions of iOS out of the box depending on when it was purchased and how long it had sat on the shelf.
If you can't find it, check restrictions and make sure you haven't locked it out.
