Has anyone the OpenGL running with the Intel 3000HD?

I just bought a Macbook Pro 13 with the Intel 3000HD and the After Effects doesn´t allow to use OpenGL for render.
I read the card is cappable, but it´s a driver issue.
Anyone got a clue?

While it's a good idea to ask here (once people actually have them), hopefully you are asking over in the Adobe forums too, where there is a much higher chance someone will have tested it (once they actually have them).

Export the slideshow from iPhoto, that makes a movie of it.
Do you want to use this DVD in a domestic DVD player? If so, then the disk will have to be 'authored' to make it the correct form for that. If you have iDVD then that's the app you use. However, iDVD is no longer developed or distributed by Apple. You may be able to get it on an old iLIfe install disk.

Both of you have registered the same email address for iMessage. If you were using a shared Apple ID and you updated your phones to iOS5, the default will be the Apple ID. Go into settings and change it.

I'm having the same issue as most of you on this forum. my current OS is 4.3.5 and after a factory reset, the camera started working fine, however, once i done the restore the camera reverted back to the same issue - "the shutter on the screen wont open, and the still/video switch just flashes" - what is more strange is, i have the HP home&biz app installed and this has a camera function and the camera seems to work fine with that, therefore suggesting there is nothing wrong with the hardware and this is a software issue. I'm currently awaiting a member of the Apple support team to call me about this, will keep you posted. BTW - someone suggested, going into Location Services and switching off the camera and apparantly, the issue was resolved for them, unfortunatly, this didn't work for me extremly odd issue indeed!

It's more likely the OP's router. I have a wifi only iPad 2, yet location services work just fine on my iPad. If I open maps, my location is found quite nicely. I have seen that some routers do not provide location services and I suspect the OP has such a router.

SuperDrives wear out - it seems that yours might be on the verge of a mechanical failure. I'd just replace it, buying a new drive from Other World Computing and installing it yourself (because Apple would charge a small fortune).

If your Mac is truly running MacOS 10.2.x, you are limited to using 128-bit WEP security - WPA is not supported.
On the Linksys router, select 128-bit WEP and enter a passphrase. The router will generate, from the passphrase, four hexadecimal-format WEP keys. Copy down the FIRST of those four WEP keys - and use that WEP key on your Mac when prompted.

Has anyone else had problems with the recent iMovie update?

I installed the latest iMovie, iWeb, iDVD, QT, and Security update this morning. I restarted and opened an iMovie project and it crashed three times within about 10 minutes. All I was doing was editing some audio clips on the timeline, I wasn't even rendering anything.
Just wondered if anyone else has had any problems since the update?

I had a similar problem. After i extracted the audio track from a clip (so i can edit it down for a drop zone in iDVD) iMovie aborted and i couldn't get it to run correctly with that video again. Each time i tried to open it, iMovie would hang with the startup dialog saying there was less than a minute left to load the video.
I trashed the video and pulled up my backup from my outboard drive (tedious; >.5hr over USB 2), i'm going to try again.
I have QT Pro also (i upgraded for the file conversion features, mostly).

I have an iPad 1 and am being prompted to upgrade to the latest version software. Has anyone had any problems when doing this? Our PC runs on Wndows 7.
Having just resolved iTunes not connecting to the store after the recent upgrade, I'm reluctant to do something that could potentially screw up the iPad which does what we want as it is.

That's probably a good idea. If you are happy with the system as is, I'd wait to upgrade. I can report that my friends and family have mostly upgraded to iOS 5 without any problems, but as you can probably tell from other posts on this board, lots of people have run into problems.

I'm running WinXP and presently have Adobe Reader 9.4.3. Before I upgrade I would like to find out if anyone has had any problems with the new release? The last time I upgraded an Adobe product (Flash) it screwed up my ability to watch videos on my browser.

Adobe Reader has the original 10.0.0 with its associated vulnerabilities and the patch of 10.0.1 which seems unable to run in protected mode in my environment or any that have roaming profiles. The vulnerabilities that prompted the last two patches (would have been 10.0.2 and 10.0.3) have been forgone by Adobe, because "Protected Mode mitigates those vulenrabilities". In my opinion, Reader X is not ready, they are soliciting for testers for a new release. Version 9 with its attendant problems seems to be the only viable solution for me, if I can get the patches to apply properly, and the installer to work properly.
