Hi experts ,
Could someone please correct me on this :-
PARAMETERS:
p_wbsele TYPE C AS CHECKBOX MODIF ID '123'.
SELECT-OPTIONS:
s_bukrs FOR CSKS-BUKRS NO INTERVALS.
Now if the checkbox is not checked then the input field s_bukrs should be disabled and if checked the input fieldshould be enabled.
Follwoing code was mentioned at
Initialization
loop at screen.
if screen-name = 'p_wbsele'.
screen-invisible = 1.
modify screen.
endif.
endloop.
At selection-screen output.
Loop at screen.
if p_wbsele = 'X'.
screen-invisible = 1.
modify screen.

But the input field is not greyed out.

ok now in PBO.

GIven the program name and the Screen #, i need to figure out all the Input fields , Data type and Length for that program( SAP STD REPORT).
I checked out the Element List in Se51 for the program name and screen number, I need something similar to it ..I need to pull out that data. How should i approach.

Output checkbox, means that it is a "disabled" input field. Output Only checkbox, means that it is more like a static text box.

How to hide input fields on selection screen using variant attribute

Hello all,
I want to know how to hide input fields on selection screen using variant attribute conpletely.
As you know, when setting the attribute of variant "Hide field" checked, the field is temporarily hidden, but when clicking "All Selections(F7)" button on the selection screen, the fileds become appeared.
I want to hide the field completely. Di you know how to do ?

Use this attribute hide field and save the variant. Then create transaction for this program setting default variant for parameter Start with variant . The user who runs it will have it by defualt set.
Otherwise
in PBO simply use LOOP at screen and output = 0 for this field. This will ensure that field is invisible in any case.

Adding a new input field on selection screen after input in a select option

There are 2 input fields on the selection screen.
I would like to add a new select option field when a value is entered in the 2nd field <b>only</b>. If there is an input in the 1st field or both the fields, the new input field should not appear.

Controlling the space between label and Input field in SELECT-OPTION

Hi ,
I am using WDR_SELECT_OPTIONS as a used component in order to dynamically generate the Select option in my WD Component.
Can any one tell me if there is a way to control the spacing between Label and Input field? This is because rest of the UI elements are in one particular order but for this dynamically generated UI.

Hi Kavitha,
The label is required for accessibility reasons. It's not possible to remove it and to use your own label from outside the component to point to it. Labels cannot point to targets across views (and hence acress component) boundaries.

Want to check whether input field in selection-screen is numeric or not

i have a select -option in selection-screen in which user enters a value.i just want to check if this value is numeric then it should be 18 positions prefixed with zeroes if numeric like 000000000000400000 and needs to be left justified if not numeric like G0032-BTI.
i check the fourm also but it didn't helped me.
i m using the code.

SCREEN - INPUT = '0' i.e.Dis-abling input field in Selection screen????

Hi Experts,
I hv a selection screen with,
1)SELECT-OPTIONS: input_fld_1 with domain value range of A, B, C, D, E, F
2)input_fld_2
3)PARAMETERS: input_fld_3 has the LIST BOX
So, my requirement is,
If the user selects/enters A, B, C, D in input_fld_1, the next moment/second (here, prog. shuld not ask the user to press any ENTER/button)
the input_fld_3 shuld b automatically dis-abled/un-able to input!
(I tried with MOD ID GRP1, but in this case, user has to press ENTER button, which is not suits to my requirement!)
So, Is it possible? If so How?

hi Srikhar,
It is not possible to have your requirement.
As the AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT will be triggered only when you press the ENTER key.
You need to ask user to press the enter key or you need to have USER COMMAND to the selection screen parameter, which I think is not available with select-options.

I have some problem in getting of input value from View to customcontroller.
My problem is I have created a Input field in the view and if Iam giving the value to that field I can capture the value from View to customcontroller and send it as BAPI input.But My input filed is in the view Context.
How can i capture InputFiled value from View to CustomController.

In my customcontrollerView all my BAPI mathods instances and execute methods are declared.All the attributes directly getting from model class.
But I have two views , in first view I created a input field(for that i created valueAttribute in that context).
Here I want give the conditions If the input field is empty then directly call the execute method of BAPI.
Otherwise give any input to the inputfiled then capture that value and send it input to BAPI from view to BAPI.
In my customcontroller
BAPI b = new BAPI();
b.Param1();
b.param2();
and
execute BAPI()
I done like this.
How can i capture the view input value how to send as a b.parama();

Setting input fields to an empty string BIG PROBLEM

Hi Rob, thanks for your rerply, It makes sense alright, but I am using 2 seperate input fields. I have discovered what is causing the problem .
After the user types into the inputfield and moves on to a different frame, I have set the input field to an empty string and this is what is causing the problem.
I have tried setting the input field to an empty string in a movie script and on individual sprites and the first right answer is not excepted.I have to type in the right answer twice to get get a right response. I am actually using three seperate input fields in total, each with a different name and behavior. Even If I use one input field I still have the same problem. Its driving me crazey. Any Ideas.

I believe that the FIM Service always does trims on string, so you may be out of luck.
What is your scenario / what are you trying to accomplish by setting a space in an attribute? A space is not an empty string in my definition.

Is it possible to use 'Select-options' in web dynpro for the input field like we use in abap?

To Display Input Field Value in Pop Up

hii guys i want to display a input field value in a pop up dialog box.
For this i have taken a input field, a pop up component and a button.
In the dialog box of pop up element i have taken an output text which will display the value of input field.
Everything seems to be work fine if i am giving the value to input filed at design time.
But when i want to display the input field value entered at run time, the dialog box of pop up displays nothing..!!!

setValue and getValue..
Then i set the value property of both input text and output text as #{package.BeanClass.value},

How to link label with an input field in data table?

I am curious if there is a nice way to link a label to input field in a data table directly in JSP? Data filling the table are dynamically bounded.
Sample, simplified code below. Values of "label" property are unique in the collection binded to dataTable.

Selectable doesn't works for input field

I wonder that the selectable property doesn't works even for
input field in flash 8'
I can't see, select, type anything.
Is there any reason for it and how can I tackle this issue.
But it's not a problem in IE7 and works fine in IE7 even it
doesn't do in flash IDE

Are you saying you have an input field and cannot select text
you type?
BTW, setting an input field's selectable property to false
locks the field.
