Having problem contacting Web Services

Hi,
I have created a web application using BlazeDS and everything works fine locally. But when I tried to put it on the web, nothing happened. I don't succeed to access my Web Services, but my blazeDS application is well configured because when I try to contact the endpoint, I have the blank page. I put, in the flex compiler of my flex project, -services "../WebContent/WEB-INF/flex/services-config.xml", to set where is my configuration and you can find in attachment all my configuration files. My WS are deployed in the same web app so what's wrong ?
Thanks.

Hi,
   Copy that WSDL file on Local PC then Upload in SAp using Local Host Option.
   It will Work..

  • Having problems starting Web Services... need help!

    I'm running Mac Server 10.5.7 currently configured for email and I've just decided to start hosting websites. The problem I'm having is that Web Services will fail to start with any sites configured. Web Services will start if I don't have any sites configured. I've messed around with the Terminal app using some advice from online posts, but that didn't help. I'm not even sure I did it right.
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9508628
    I tried to understand the error log, but I'm not savy enough to translate. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening.
    Here's the log error:

    So, I've read through all the documents and tried to apply what I've learned. I must say, I dove in head first. There's a lot to digest here. Maybe I'm reading too much.
    I ran the Terminal and 'sudo' command you requested. This is the result.
    "Syntax Ok."
    Since posting this question I've installed mySQL, but I'm not exactly sure what it does.
    I've tried changing to the httpd.conf file, but nothing is working. All I get when I type in "localhost" is cannot "connect to web server". At least before I was getting the "apple default page".
    Need some advice on how to get this all straightened out. Looks like I made a pretty good mess of things.
    Thanks for all the help!

    Hi,
    since I did not find that BAPI in my system: what is the exact name?
    Did you test the BAPI directly in ABAP, i.e. function builder SE37, successfully?
    Currently it looks to me as if you did not provide sufficient business data.
    Did you specify the employee number before executing the call?

  • Contact Web Service (Web Service Tool in CRM 2007)

    Dear Experts,
    Has anyone got the Contact Web Service to work using the Web Service tool in CRM 2007.  I attempted in creating a web service but I cannot get the attributes such as first name and last name to show up in the XML request.
    I have created a service ticket with SAP but its been really slow.
    Thanks in advance.
    Nitin

    Yes,
    The steps you mentioned are correct
    1) Account Indentification
    2) Interaction Record created and displayed
    3) Select Service request from the Last 5 interactions from bottom on page
    4) Selected one of the Service request
    5) In Breadcrumbs dropdown I see
    1) Employee(Service) Request(XXXXXXX) --- the one I selected from Interaction history and being displayed
    2) Interaction Record (XXXX)*
    3) Interaction Record (XXXX)*
    4) Identify Employee
    I click on breadcrumbs to go back or I press END without pressing SAVE
    NEXT
    Open the Interaction Record by searching for the same from INBOX
    The NEW Employee Request (Service request) created is there
    If I use breadcrumbs to go back and repeat steps 1--3 (account Identification to select Service request), it does not create one, it is for only the first time the additional request is created.
    I hope I am clear....

    I'm having problems loading web pages on a vmware workstation 6.05 guest OS using Firefox 3.5.9. Also tried the latest 3.6 version. I can ping external websites fine from the guest. No proxy. Any ideas?
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == I installed a guest OS

    I'm using the same swear words as you. There are several threads about this problem - no answers.
    I have a LaserJet 8100N and 8150DN, get the 79.01FE error on the 8150 from print outs from Safari, Firefox, and Preview, for only some sites/documents. CNN.com has become my test site, seems I can crash the printer 90% of the time with their home page at any given time in the day.
    A summary of what I have tried:
    - Upgraded the firmware to the latest for both the JetDirect card and the printer.
    - Swapped the JetDirect cards between the 8100 and 8150.
    - Swapped ram on the 8150 board.
    - Disconnected external trays, bins, and removed extra RAM and hard drives from the 8150.
    - Tried setting the JetDirect link and matching switch port link to 100FD, 10HD, 10FD, 100HD, as suggested by a poster.
    - Tried having client's print to the printer through a XServer Print Server.
    - Can consistently create the error from multiple systems running 10.3.9, 10.4.5, and 10.4.6 (didn't have an install base of 10.4 before 10.4.5).
    Someone in the 'know' (which means they're likely not), said 10.4.7 will likely fix this. Being Apple has not even addressed that the problem exists (that I could find), I doubt the magic fix is a release away.
    Apple's software is triggering something that Windows systems appears not to be, so one could say it's an Apple problem; but ulimately it's HP's software/hardware that is at fault in that it is allowing their system to crash from input alone.

  • Problem in web service

    Hi All,
    I am having some problems in webservice.  I am calling  XMII via web service from external application and I have to get back the reply. I am able to make a call it also reached the XMII but I am not getting the reply back to external application. It goes in to fault direction with the error "WebService Error contacting the remote server: Format error: XML Error: line 1 col 1 message Invalid document structure".
    Thanks in advance,
    Murugappan.

    Hi
    Instead of using SOAPRunner use WSDLGen
    ie:
    http://<machineName>/Lighthammer/WSDLGen/<Complete path of your transaction w.r.t Transactions folder>
    eg:
    http://<machineName>/Lighthammer/WSDLGen/XXX_xMII_Transactions/TCL/SAP_xMII_TCL_Transactions/MPODownLoad.
    Also make sure that you dont write the .trx extension while calling the webservice
    Award pts if it helps.

  • Problem invoking web service

    We have a web service that is working some times and not
    others. It is local so it's not a problem with the internet being
    busy or anything like that. We do
    service.addEventListener(InvokeEvent.INVOKE, debugInvoke);
    service.send();
    and the times when it fails, debugInvoke (a local function)
    never gets called. We also have event handlers for RESULT and FAULT
    and those two don't get called either.
    The doc says
    "The invoke event is dispatched when a service Operation is
    invoked so long as an Error is not thrown before the Channel
    attempts to send the message" but I don't really know what that
    means. Can anybody shed some light on this? Thanks.

    I don't know if you're having the same problem, but when I
    was having timing issues, it was related to my calling of the web
    service before the WSDL was fully loaded.
    In my case, the service was being called when my app
    initialized. My solution was to add a load handler to my service
    like so:
    service.addEventListener(LoadEvent.LOAD, loadWsdlHandler);
    service.loadWSDL();
    My loadWsdlHandler method then made the actual service call,
    secure in the knowledge that the WSDL was fully loaded.
    The WSDL only needs to be loaded once before the first
    service call. If your service is first called by user interaction,
    then you could add the component in a disabled state, load the WSDL
    when the app initializes, and your load handler can enable the
    relevant control.

  • Problems with Web Services in Visual Studio

    (Cross-posted from WAS forums)
    I'm using VB.NET to access SAP BAPI's via web services from a 4.7 system. This works really well (and in my view is simpler than the .Net connector) until I try and add a Web reference to a SAP web service that returns a BAPIRET2 structure - as soon as I add the reference, I get a load of "Reference to a non-shared member requires an object reference" errors - one for each line in the BAPIRET2 definition that VS automatically adds.
    Specific Example (guess who's been using OSS too long!):
    1. Browse the R/3 Web Service Repository at:
    http://yourmachinename:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/WebServiceBrowser/search.html
    2. Search for BAPI_USER_GET_DETAIL, click the small "wsdl" link.
    3. Copy the resulting URL, in VS add a web reference and type the necessary security details
    4. Immediately in the task list 15 build errors show - one for each line of the BAPIRET2 definition.
    Would be very grateful for any help on this!

    Did you ever get this figured out?  I am having exactly the same problem in code generated by VS, with the BAPIRET2 structure.
    Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

  • Problem creating web service client using WSM Policies

    Hello everyone,
    I'm trying to make a simple java client to a Web Service secured using a WSM 11gR1 policy (from Soa Suite 11.1.1.2.0). The policy on the server side is oracle/wss11_x509_token_with_message_protection_service_policy which I attached via the Weblogic Admin Console. To implement the client I'm trying to follow the instructions from this documentation: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/e13713/owsm_appendix.htm#WSSOV386 section "Policy Configuration Overrides for the Web Service Client" and also I'm using OEPE 11.1.1.3.0 (Eclipse 3.5.0) to develop the client. The only weblogic jar I've added to the build path is the weblogic.jar . Unfortunately, the oracle.wsm.security.util.SecurityConstants.ClientConstants interface (used in the example A-6) is not included in this jar and I have no idea what other libraries should I include in order to follow the example. I tried manualy adding other jars but without success. In fact I found one jar which includes this interface, the wsm-secpol.jar but it does not have the properties described in the documentation, so I guess it's not the right jar, and also I don't think this is the right procedure since there might be another dependent jars. So I would like to know what libraries exactly I should add to the build path (or some other procedure if you noticed I'm doing anything wrong)
    Thank you !

    Hi
    I am having the same problem almost where i wrote a client to comsume a JWS server in https. Where the server is setup to require a certificate to connect to.

    int number2 = 10;

    double result = port.divide(number1, number2);
    System.out.printf("The result of dividing %d and %d is %f.\n\n", number1, number2, result);

    Does any one know how can I solve this problem or how can I make the client be able to use self signed certificates. Any help is greatly apprecited. Thanks

  • Problem running Web Service that uses OracleXMLSave on Oracle AS 10.1.3

    I am trying to deploy a Web Service that uses OracleXMLSave. The service was built in Jdeveloper 10.1.3 and is deployed to 10gR3 AS. I have all the utitlites available from the 10g Production XML Developers Kit installed . The code compiles and generates correctly . I then deploy to an EAR file that inlcudes the applicaiton code and also all the XDK libraries . No problems so far. But when I run the app, I get an exception like the one below. It says it can't find XMLType . The funny thing is that this library (xdb.jar) and all other related libraries are there in the EAR file . In fact the class loader seems to see it because the exception says that it is there (see text below).
    I have added all the libraries from XML Developer kit like xdb.jar , xsu12.jar , etc. I have also verfieid that the files are selected in the WebServices.deploy file and also present in the EAR file . (See full list below the eror message below. ).
    It looks like for some reason the class loader can't load the class even though it seems to know that the class exists in the path.
    Been sweating on this for a while (probably staring it at too long :) and would really appreciate some help.
    This is the exception thrown when the OracleXMLSave Class is called for the first time.

    Well I got the EJB lookup working but only when I changed the Provider Url to the pre-10.1.3 format e.g. ormi://someserver:12421/someapp and used jazn.com/oc4jadmin as the username. After reading the online documentation, I didn't think this should work!
    Another issue I am having is casting a datasource returned from a JNDI lookup for a datasource. We used to do the lookup in the code and cast to an OracleDataSource. Now it is throwing a class cast exception to ManagedDataSource. Is there a quick and easy solution to this? I really don't want to have to go into the code and change this cast so it'd be great if we can get this working without changing code. This code has been working in a prod environment for two years now on 9.0.3 -> 9.0.4...

  • Problem with web service proxy and connections.xml

    JDev 11.1.14
    Hello
    I'm trying to create a web service proxy that takes advantage of the connections.xml so that the endpoints can be changed without recompiling the code (as described here http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/b31974/web_services.htm#ADFFD548 - 13.2.2 How to Create a New Web Service Connection)
    I created the web service proxy using the Jdev wizard and a test client. The access to the web service works as expected.
    The client test code is :
    package model;
    import ch.mit.trac.ws.proxy.*;
    import ch.mit.trac.ws.root.Currency;
    import javax.naming.NamingException;
    public class wsTest {
      public wsTest() {
        super();
      public void testIt() throws NamingException {
        CurrencyConvertor currencyConvertor = new CurrencyConvertor();
        CurrencyConvertorSoap currencyConvertorSoap = currencyConvertor.getCurrencyConvertorSoap();
        Double res = currencyConvertorSoap.conversionRate(Currency.CHF, Currency.USD);
        System.out.println("Hello");
        System.out.println(res);
      public static void main(String [] args) throws NamingException {
        wsTest tt = new wsTest();
        tt.testIt();
    }I then create a connection as described in the docs.
    I now have a connections.xml as follows:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>
    <References xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/jndi">
       <Reference name="CurrencyConvertor" className="oracle.adf.model.connection.webservice.impl.WebServiceConnectionImpl" xmlns="">
          <Factory className="oracle.adf.model.connection.webservice.api.WebServiceConnectionFactory"/>
          <RefAddresses>
             <XmlRefAddr addrType="WebServiceConnection">
                <Contents>
                   <wsconnection description="file:/C:/JDeveloper/mywork/WebServiceTest/Model/src/ch/mit/trac/ws/proxy/CurrencyConvertor.wsdl" service="{http://www.webserviceX.NET/}CurrencyConvertor">

                            </port>
                            <port name="CurrencyConvertorHttpGet" binding="{http://www.webserviceX.NET/}CurrencyConvertorHttpGet">

                            </port>
                            <port name="CurrencyConvertorSoap12" binding="{http://www.webserviceX.NET/}CurrencyConvertorSoap12">

                            </port>
                            <port name="CurrencyConvertorSoap" binding="{http://www.webserviceX.NET/}CurrencyConvertorSoap">
                               <soap addressUrl="http://www.webservicex.com/CurrencyConvertor.asmx" xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/"/>
                               <operation name="ConversionRate">
                                  <soap soapAction="http://www.webserviceX.NET/ConversionRate" xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/"/>
                                  <output name=""/>
                                  <input name=""/>
                               </operation>
                            </port>
                         </service>
                      </model>
                   </wsconnection>
                </Contents>
             </XmlRefAddr>
          </RefAddresses>So far so good.
    I then created a new jspx page with a button that calls a method in a request scoped bean.
    The method is supposed to use the connections.xml to get the web service proxy in order to call the web service.
    The bean code is as follows :
    package ch.mit.test;
    import javax.faces.event.ActionEvent;
    import ch.mit.trac.ws.proxy.*;
    import ch.mit.trac.ws.root.Currency;
    import javax.naming.Context;
    import javax.naming.NamingException;
    import oracle.adf.model.connection.webservice.api.WebServiceConnection;
    import oracle.adf.share.ADFContext;
    public class test {
      public test() {
      public void testIt() throws NamingException {
        Context ctx;
        ctx = ADFContext.getCurrent().getConnectionsContext();
        WebServiceConnection wsc;
        wsc = (WebServiceConnection) ctx.lookup("CurrencyConvertor");
        CurrencyConvertor currencyConvertor = wsc.getJaxWSPort(CurrencyConvertor.class);   -- NPE here
        CurrencyConvertorSoap currencyConvertorSoap = currencyConvertor.getCurrencyConvertorSoap();
        Double res = currencyConvertorSoap.conversionRate(Currency.CHF, Currency.USD);
        System.out.println("Hello");
        System.out.println(res);
      public void testws(ActionEvent actionEvent) {
        try {
          testIt();
        } catch (NamingException e) {
    }When running the application and clicking on the button I keep getting the following error at the line marked NPE Here above:

  • Problem generating Web Service with business methods in multiple EJB's

    Hi,
    I'm I a "web service novice" but I'm working with an
    application which was developed in an earlier version
    of Studio which has
    ~30 business method coming from ~12 EJB's. When I attempt
    to recreate the Web Service in Java Studio Enterprise 7 (had same problem versions 5 and 6) I have trouble. When I execute the "Generate Web Service Files" command I get complilation errors in the <webservice_name>.java file. It is obvious that the
    protected Map theJNDIMap = makeJNDIMap();
    protected Map makeJNDIMap() {
         Map m = new HashMap();
         // This map might get changed at deployment time
         m.put(......
    is all screwed up. Entries are missing and the closing bracket isn't even there.
    Is there some user error on my part?
    Is this a know bug (I couldn't any info. and I get the same behavior on the current and older versions of Studio)?
    Is there a workaround? I can fix this particular java file and compile it sucessfully. However, I'm still missing many of the other web service files that should be generated for me.
    All the tutorials on web services that I've done to looked over all get there business method from 1 EJB :(
    Please advise,
    Freda Phelps

    I had a problem too. Successfully created an EJB and its test application. Tested the same using Web client and works fine. Now created a web service from EJB methods. It created the skeletons. When tried creating Web Svc test client or web svc other files..it gives me an exception saying xmlservices.jar doesnt exist in the C:\Docs and Settings\<$username>\.jstudio\Ent04Q4modules. I have searched for this file and copied (overwritten) it into this directory. But still i cant proceed further.
