HD Movies that I bought in iTunes won't fully download to my IMAC.

Life of PI for example always stops a 1.15gb and won't go any further, just shows as downloading. I have no limits with my ISP and they said there is no problem on the line. I have asked Apple support and they don't know. They refunded some movies but older ones they won't. My line is slow but it should download eventually. I've tried deleting and redoing everything and it always stops a 1.15gb - very frustrating as I wanted to stream to my apple TV.

"had the same issue. Videos that were on my iPod and working fine started disappearing one by one - after the recent round of updates to Mac OS X, iTunes, and QuickTime.
The solution is to select the video in your iTunes library, go to the Advanced menu and choose "Convert Selection for iPod". iTunes suddenly didn't like whatever I used to convert them before, but anything converted using iTunes -after the updates - worked fine.
For what it's worth, I just ripped a DVD using MactheRipper, then used Forty-TwoDVD-VXPlus to encode it for the iPod and it worked perfectly. I didn't have to use iTunes to re-encode it.
Oops. I just went back and saw that you're using Windows, so MTR and the other program won't work for you, but the built-in iTunes encoder should do the trick. "

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly iTunes and iCloud are different things, movies are handled by iTunes.
iTunes now has iTunes in the cloud and iTunes Match, but neither deals with movies. Your purchased movies will need to be copied from your old computer to your new one.

Films can't be redownloaded in all countries, and even where they can be not all studios have agreed to it and studios could also remove their films from the store (if some films show for redownloading but others don't then check to see if any are hidden). Check your USB connections

Thanks. The reason this has become an issue is that I recently bought a new Macbook Air that the iPad is not synced to. The one is was synced to was stolen. If I want to sync this iPad to the new Air, won't it be wiped before I'm able to copy these films or am I wrong about that?

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

Movies I bought on iTunes won't download...

Iknow my download rate is slow but.... Movies that I bought and clicked the "download later" tab are not downloading. An error pop up window shows up. So I go back to the download status screen and try to refreash and it will not continue to download...Help!

Most iPods (that can play videos) cannot play "HD" content, because the video's resolution is too high for the iPod's screen. If you do a Get Info (from a right-click) on the video in iTunes, and the Summary tab of the Info window says the Video Dimensions is higher than 640x480, that is the reason.
If you paid for the HD version of a video in the iTunes Store, I believe you are entitled to download the SD (standard def) version of the video at no additional cost. The SD version should work with most video-capable iPods.
If your "iPod classic" is the 5th gen iPod (the first iPod to play videos), please post back.

Woah there fella, if your files have been deleted and you still keep the same hard-drive you might want to use some undelete software first, such as http://www.officerecovery.com/freeundelete/ which I am not familiar with. Just make sure you recover the files into an external or different drive than the one you are recovering first... Otherwise it won't work. You could porbably restore most of your data this way, music and everything else.
Otherwise:
1. Open iTunes (latest version).
2. On the left ruler, under "Store", click on "Purchased".
3. On the bottom right of the screen click on "Download Previous Purchases".
4. Download whatever you like.

some TV shows & movies that i bought arent syncing to my ipod. i did notice that in my itunes movies and tv shows folders, there are round, blue dots and half dots next to some of the videos. if a file has a blue dot or a half dot, it will sync. if there is not a dot or half dot it wont sync. i only recently noticed
these dots. I tried looking thru apple support to find out what these dots are without

This has worked for many folks according to the feedback I have gotten:
Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.
