Header after each row in report

Hi Team,
In my report i want header should be repeated after each row.
I m using apex 4.1 and template for report that i m using is STANDARD.
EXAMPLE:- IF A,B,C are header colums then the report should be like below.
A B C
1 2 3
A B C
5 6 7
A B C
8 9 1
A B C
1 2 3
Please suggest me some way to edit template and getting the report in the desired format.
Thanks,
Rajendra

Hello Thomas,
sorry for the late answer.
Here is the part of the coding.
There is nothing special about conversion,
I just call the parser and return the XML stream back.
The parser itself provides this conversion with CR/LF.
I think it is not the best way to do this, but it works fine and it was very easy.
best regards
Werner

  • Check Box for each row in report -- all rows deleting when pressing DELETE

    Hello experts! I have set up a report with a check box for each row. When I click the DELETE button to delete the selected rows, every single one of the rows get deleted...even the ones that are not selected. I have my process point set to "On Submit - After computations and validations".
    This is my delete process (SHG is the table and SHG_ID is the primary key):
    FOR i in 1..HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F01.count
    LOOP
    DELETE FROM SHG
    WHERE SHG_ID = HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F01(i);
    END LOOP;
    Also, I've added to query in the region source this line:
    htmldb_item.checkbox(1, SHG_ID) del,
    Where does the "1" come into this? Not sure what I am doing wrong!

    The 1 (first argument to all the htmldb_item.* APIs) corresponds to the array number in htmldb_application.g_fNN. So 1 will populate array g_f01, 2 will populate g_f02 and so on.
    Your code seems fine, it should delete only the checked rows. Are you sure there is no other process on the page that might be deleting the rows? See if you can put up an example on htmldb.oracle.com

  • Apex 4.0 how to add a button to each row of a report

    Hi Everyone
    I have to a requirement where i need to add a button or link to each row of report dynamically and when a user clicks on it region has to display a region below.
    For example displaying report in region 1 and when a user clicks the link or button the region 2 has to appear based on the condition.
    Report display details of employee , employeename, emp no, manager, depto, sal,feedback and if the feedback is filled then the link should not appear and if feedback is not filled and the link or button should appear beside that row and allow the user to click and when it is clicked it has to show region 2 .
    I am new to Apex, please help me out how to do this.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Sandeep

    Step 1:
    Add a new item to set ID principal in report 2. ex. "P2000_ID" (maybe hidden item)
    Step 2:
    in report 1 section "report Attributes" section "Link Column"
    -> Link Column = Link to Custom Target
    -> Link Icon: Select some Icon link.
    -> Target: Page in this Application
    -> Page: same page ex. 2000.
    -> Item 1: "Name" = select Item created (step 1) "P200_ID" "Value" = #NAME_OF_ID_COLUMN_IN_REPORT_1#
    -> Apply Changes
    Step 3:
    Create query to report 2
    Ex.
    select *
    from
    TABLE2
    where
    ID=:P2000_ID
    -> In Report2 condition
    * Condition Type = Value of item in Expression 1 Is NOT NULL
    * Expression1 = P2000_ID

  • Repeat a Header on each page of a Report that includes expressions - Report Builder 3.0

    Is there a way of repeating an header on each page of a report with the built-in expressions representing the new value on each header.  Example, Page 1 is correct but page 2 - the permit number, address and Tract does not match up, it repeats all the
    information from page 1.

    Hi KittyCat101,
    According to your description, you want repeat a show with expression to show Permit Number and Address dynamically on each page. Right?
    In Reporting Services, table header is not in any group row, so when you put expression with data field into header row, it will only return the first row of that data row. This is the reason why it always shows the information as Page 1.
    In this scenario, we can make records group on Permit Number. Then we put the Permit Number and Address in the group header. Set page break between each group instance.
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • How to add a comment for each row on the output of a report?

    I would like to add a comment (field) for each row on the output of report? This comment should to be saved as well. Is there a way i can do that?
    Regards,
    Ram

    Hi Dimitri,
    through the instead of trigger functionality i am able to update the view. This is view is based on different views which should be linked to a table (as you suggested) in which comments can be stored. Hower this table is empty and how to link this table with the view now? I face the following challenge.
    View consists the following columns, for example
    select name, sex, age from test_view
    name sex age
    John M 20
    Anton M 30
    Willy M 40
    shirley F 38
    sharon F 37
    The report has the following output, for example
    name     sex age
    John     M 20
    Anton     M 30
    Willy M 40
    Shirley F 38
    Sharon F 37
    Now i would like to add comment through a button.
    The report layout looks like
    name sex age
    John M 20 <add comment button>
    After submitting the <add comment button> you can enter text which deals with John
    text='John doesnot like me'
    Finally the report display the comment as well
    name sex age
    John M 20 'John doesnot like me' <update/delete comment button>
    Anton M 30 <add comment button>
    Willy M 40 <add comment button>
    Shirley F 38 <add comment button>
    Sharon F 37 <add comment button>
    After submitting the <update/delete button> you can change or delete the entered text.
    I hope this example clears things up.

  • Adding radio button to each row of an interactive report: possible or not?

    First of all let me explain what the point of this application is.
    I'm making an application that allows a user to select something out of a drop-down select list. This list is a list of categories for food. Let's say the user selects "Fruit".
    Then the page refreshes and shows an interactive report with a list of food that belongs to the category of fruit.
    Here's where I want to change things:
    I want the user to see the interactive report, but in this interactive report I want to add a radio button for each row.
    Then, when a certain type of food is selected (let's say "Strawberry") via the radio button, a text field should appear underneath the interactive report. In this textfield, the user can then add the weight of the food item, and then it will calculate how many carbs there are in the strawberry.
    All I really want to know is:*
    How do I add a radio button to each row of the interactive report, and how do I link this radio button to the value of that particular row?*
    Additional information:
    The item "P17_FOOD_CATEGORY" contains the following LOV:
    select FOODCATEGORYNAME as display_value, FOODCATEGORYID as return_value
    from FOODCATEGORY
    order by 1
    The "Food" region contains the following source:
    select a.FOODID, a.NAME, b.FOODCATEGORYNAME, c.STANDARDAMOUNT, c.NAME Unit
    from FOOD a inner join FOODCATEGORY b
    on a.FOODCATEGORYID = b.FOODCATEGORYID join FOODUNIT c
    on a.FOODID = c.FOODID
    where a.FOODCATEGORYID = :P17_SET_CATEGORY
    EDIT:
    PLEASE! Even if you don't know a good answer or if you are unsure about your answer, do post! Even suggestions would be welcome! I really need all the help I could get, even if it's not much.

    Hi there!
    I tried to change my code to your version, but then I get an error message:
    Error Unable to change Interactive Report query.
    ORA-12899: value too large for column "APEX_040100"."WWV_FLOW_WORKSHEET_COLUMNS"."DB_COLUMN_NAME" (actual: 32, maximum: 30)
    I don't quite know what this means. After doing a quick search on the internet, I know that this message should mean that the length of the value for the columns named "APEX_040100", "WWV_FLOW_WORKSHEET_COLUMNS" and "DB_COLUMN_NAME" is too long. But, I don't have these columns. I searched for them in my object browser, and they can't be found in any table related to my application.
    I'm sure your answer is the solution, but do you perhaps have an idea on how to solve this error? I checked the allowed maximum length for any column value that is related to my application, but they all have "50" set as the maximum value...
    Thank you for your reply. ;)

  • Print HTML Report Automatically after Each UUT

    Hello
    I saw the document on NI site called "Print HTML Report Automatically after Each UUT". That's exactly what I want to do with XML files. So I put it in my sequence file and it works fine, but when it opens the xml file at the first step, there's a pop-up from IE who say that "Scripts are generally safe, do you want to authorise this script" (This message is also displayed when I open my file in files explorer).
    So, the print is not automatically anymore as I must answer to this pop-up. does anybody has a solution to bypass this pop-up ?
    I tried to use the property silent on the class IWebBrowser2. Inded, the pop-up doesn't appear anymore, but my XML file isn't correctly printed. I supposed the default response of the pop-up (which is no) is applied. So the script isn't executed.
    I also tried to configure IE to not display this pop-up : No result

  • Prompting user for input for each row in the report

    Is it possible to have a user entered field for each row in a report ?
    ie. have a report with empolyee number, employee name, title, salary, and comment. Select of of these columns from the SQL query except for the comment, and then when the report is generated have the user be prompted for what the want the comment to be for every employee in the report?

    That is, have the user generating the report enter in a different comment for EACH employee. (ie Joe Smith's comment is "good worker and John Smith's comment is "come to work late on Tuesdays and Thursdays", Sally Jones' comment is "Expert in C++" etc.) as the reports is being built for each row returned from the query.

    I had the same problem and this is what I did, works great. You have the total control.
    function BeforeReport return boolean is
    fp text_io.file_type;
    begin
    -- creating a file name
    :CP_filename := 'C:\Gap'||to_char(sysdate,'MMDDYYHHMISS')||'.csv';
    -- Opening the file in write mode
    fp := text_io.fopen(:CP_filename,'w');
    -- writing the column headings into the file
    text_io.put_line(fp,'"Platform","Sys#","GapType",');
    text_io.fclose(fp);
    return (TRUE);
    end;
    and then where ever it is suitable, depending on the requirement, write into file by opening it in the append mode.
    function R_G_systemplatformFormatTrigge return boolean is
    fp text_io.file_type;
    begin
    --     srw.message(99,:dname);
    fp := text_io.fopen(:CP_filename,'a');
    text_io.put(fp,'"' || :systemplatform || '",');

    text_io.put_line(fp,'"' || :CF_gaptype || '",');
