Hi,
Using OHD i am pushing data from ODS to local file in CSV format and it is working fine, now i need
Header also in the file.
ex.,
Now file is like
AAA     6A      2BB
BBB      6B      C2S
but i need header too, like
MATERIAL      CLASS       SUB-CLASS
AAA               6A              2BB
BBB                6B              C2S
Is it possible to do it?
Pls help me on this.

Its not possible. You need to copy header data from one csv to another.

I have the main html file and all other files needed by the main file in one directory on the application layer of SAP. I'd like to provide the user with a link, by clicking on which they should be able to get to the main html file using the browser. This is just a standalone application.
I can try the approach using BSPs, however, I'm new to that area. Could you point me in the right direction to get started?

Display gif files using servletoutputstream (again)

Hello,
I'm trying to display several gifs files in a html file. I extract all the files from an oracle database. I'm trying to use a servletoutputstream, but it does not difference between text and image.
Process:
1. Select html file from database
2. Go through each line of html file to find the links to gif files
- if gif :
3. Ask for the gif file detected and select from database
4. use servletoutputstream to display the file
- end of if
-else
5. display the line of text.
Is it possible to use a servletoutputstream to display several gifs and text content?
Is there one other solution to do it correctly?

Let's put it this way, since I don't have the patience to look at your code. HTML cannot have images embedded in it, it can only have links to images. So you could have a servlet that sends an image, but only a single image and nothing else. I see you have code to set the MIME type of the image, so I don't have to tell you about that.

Displaying HTML file using IFrame

I have an HTML file in my par file. It is contained as dist\html\test.html. Now I want to display this inside an IFrame. If I try something like

it fails to load the HTML file. Please let me know how to display this.

Display Excel File using OfficeControl

Hi,
My requirement is to display and Excel file for approval purpose which is generated by custom ABAP application. After each approval I need to again generate the Excel file with the approval name added and send for next approval.
Is it possible to download the Excel File to application server and display it on webdynpro screen.

Display log file using applet

Build a tail-daemon using netcat or inetd, then have a socket from the applet connect to the service thus created, and display using some simple java.awt.Canvas or some other text-displayer in the awt or swing. Viola. Just means that everyone else can see your logfile as well, so why not just remove that firewall ?

Problem displaying tiff files using ADF

I have some TIFF files in a table - IMAGE_TABLE

I am unable to display TIFF images in an ADF form. I can use processCopy to convert the TIFF images to jpeg, which them display correctly. All other JPEG or GIF display correctly, it's only the TIFF that don't. I've tried variours tiff files (different sources, converted gif and jpeg to tiff) but none display correctly (i.e. in IE you get the red 'x' - in firefox you get the broken picture symbol or nothing)?
This appears to be an ADF issue as I 'can' dsiplay the TIFF files correctly in IE and firefox using the quicktime plugin but not from an ADF form using JDdevloper? (The code/application is Steve Muench's JSFOrdImageExample - http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/tips/muench/jsfordimage/JSFOrdImageExample.zip)
Any ideas or suggestion would be appreciated.

yes, I can view tiff's in browsers (IE and firefox) using the quicktime plugin. I've selected quicktime as the player in the af:objectmedia property settings and Autostart = true, but using the ADF form from JDeveloper will not display tiff images (jpg's, giff's etc. are fine) even though the browser will display tiff's on it's own?

I am opeing a .tif image file kept at a remote location using HttpServletResponse object:

once this has been done, InputStream(the input stream of the file obtained using new FileInputStream(fileobj)) is piped into an OutputStream using some function.
using this function the .tif file gets opened in MS picture viewer, but only one file(not like when files are viewed on local machine where all differnent jpg's are viewed using the next button).
Now what client wants is when there are multiple files kept at the location, all of them should be accessible using next button of the MS picture viewer.
It is possible to do so?

ok, i agree with that and was trying for the same. i.e was taking array of InputStream[] , OutputStream[] and ByteArrayOutputStream[]. Write input streams into ByteArrayOutputStreamOBJ, write this ByteArrayOutputStreamObj to OutputStreamobj(ByteArrayOutputStreamObj .writeTo(OutputStreamobj[i]);).
This method when run in loop runs for the third time throws an exception that connection was closed by remote host.
Any Suggestions ????

Opening PDF files using preview on some PDF file result in the content not displaying properly. The file I tried to look at has pictures and text. The pictures are displayed ok but the text is shown as pixalated boxes. The same file opens ok via a PC.

Solutions please. Accessing PDF files online using preview normally works ok. However there are a clutch of files on the mothers union web site that although can be opened, present text as pixalated boxes. The pictures contained in the documents are however displayed OK. I experience the same problem on my Imac and my wifes laptop that runs Lion. The same site has other PDF files that can be opend OK. If I access the same problem files using a PC laptop running microsoft windows, they are opened OK with the text displayed as it should be. This is driving me mad....

For them, I don't know. Presumably, they wish max compatibility for their newsletter, but I really don't know how Office 2007 generates PDF. Maybe they should check transparency settings and flatten before generating PDF? Or perhaps save as PDF v1.4 instead of PDF v1.5? I would use Distiller, but perhaps they can't afford it.

Can I automate the creation of a cluster in LabView using the data structure created in an autogenerated .CSV, C header, or XML file?

Can I automate the creation of a cluster in LabView using the data structure created in an auto generated .CSV, C header, or XML file? I'm trying to take the data structure defined in one or more of those files listed and have LabView automatically create a cluster with identical structure and data types. (Ideally, I would like to do this with a C header file only.) Basically, I'm trying to avoid having to create the cluster by hand, as the number of cluster elements could be very large. I've looked into EasyXML and contacted the rep for the add-on. Unfortunately, this capability has not been created yet. Has anyone done something like this before? Thanks in advance for the help.

Wow! Thanks for the quick response! We would use this cluster as a fixed data structure. No need to change the structure during runtime. The cluster would be a cluster of clusters with multiple levels. There would be not pattern as to how deep these levels would go, or how many elements would be in each. Here is the application. I would like to be able to autocode a Simulink model file into a DLL. The model DLL would accept a Simulink bus object of a certain data structure (bus of buses), pick out which elements of the bus is needed for the model calculation, and then pass the bus object. I then will take the DLL file and use the DLL VI block to pass a cluster into the DLL block (with identical structure as the bus in Simulink). To save time, I would like to auto generate the C header file using Simulink to define the bus structure and then have LabView read that header file and create the cluster automatically. Right now I can do everything but the auto creation of the cluster. I can manually build the cluster to match the Simulink model bus structure and it runs fine. But this is only for an example model with a small structure. Need to make the cluster creation automated so it can handle large structures with minimal brute force. Thanks!

Just as srw.message is used in Oracle RDF Reports to display data in log file in Oracle Apps, similarly how it is possible to display data in log file using PL/SQL procedure?
