While writing the data into the xls file through .lvm method I want the Headong for each channel to be include on each of the column, but i dint know how to do this? is this possible in the LabVIEW from any of the file writing method? if yes how can i do that? please help me.........

Its a really fantastic idea, and it works for me too, but the thing inside was every time once it writes the heading and then it write the data again after that it wirtes the heading and write the data, but i ve copup with dat and i ve modified the vi which u ve given to me, i am attaching that vi to with this.
wat i ve done is just putting the write to spreadsheet data vi into the while loop and other all are outside the while loop, which makes the heading to write once and data to write continuosly.

Hi SapAll.
when i try to create an out put text file using the FM 'GUI_DOWNLOAD' by wiring the follwoing below source code

iam not able to create the text file with more than 16 fields.i have tried to create an out put file with 24 fields but i can only see 16 fields in it.so could any body help me in finding out how i can create an Output file with more than 16 fields in the file.

check your output definition....are you doing something like below? SAP will transfer 1024 bytes per line with GUI_DOWNLOAD.    After you download, how do you view the data? Be sure you're looking at the data with something that will show all 1024 bytes, and not jsut 256 or 512.

Download a file using GetRight

How is it possibe to download a file using a downloader like getright? I am trying to get
oracle-xe-universal_10.2.0.1-1.0_i386.deb
but if I transfer it to Getright it fails to login, although I ve done it using the browser.

you cannot download a file directly to a client. If this is a requirement then you need a signed Java Applet to handle the download. Otherwise a download dialog is opened for the user to define where to store the file.

Heading during downloading into local file using GUI_DOWNLOAD fun.module

we have a requirement that we want the plant description as a heading (first line of the file) in the local file. iam using "GUI_DOWNLOAD" function module for downloading data for which iam passing the charecter type internal table. before downloading iam passing all the filed headings to that table and then appending the internal table data into it. now iam getting data properly with field headings . but before that heading i want one more description for a plant field which iam using in my selection screen
in the fun.module "GUI_DOWNLAOD"
we have HEADER file but it is of XSTRING type so it is taking only 2 char.
so how to use this . Plz help me.

Issues to use GUI_LOAD to download xls file

Hi Guru's, we are using the fm GUI_DOWNLOAD for downloading xls files to the physical system. We are facing following issues.
1. File contains the currency fields. When downloaded the file to desktop or any location after decimal zero's are not printing in currency field.
how to get zero's after decimals in the currency fields. Please let us know the solution if any.
2. If we click the open option under file tab on the opened xls file which is downloaded from SAP then one wizard popup is coming and prompting the user to click the 'FINISH' button.
Please let me know how to avoid this wizard popup.
