Heap max available vs committed vs used

Hi folks,
I allocate 8 GB to the heap. The heap committed size seems hanging around 2 GB to 4GB only, and the heap used size is about the same as committed. Would anyone tell me why the committed size won't take up to 8 GB? Is it because I never need that much?

Saving each image as different size - is it an option for you? I would save images with their name as: 20x30.png, 16x20.png etc etc.
Or explain whether you want these in a webpage in which case only one image is necessary and different sizes are displayed with good CSS code. this is question for Dreamweaver forum if this is what you want.

You'll probably want to get the machine revved up ahead of time so it's misbehaving when you walk in the door, rather than count on it to act up — or not — after you and the Genius have been standing around waiting for a while. (BTW, I'm assuming that once it starts acting up, it continues to do so until you give up and shut it down. Is that true?)

Thanks for the link. It didn't work at first on any of the devices but then I decided to enter a manual DNS instead of an automatic configuration. Then followed the steps again from your link and it worked.
It is not stable though as I need to reset the device for it to see the airplay. But when it is connected it stays connected for 30 minutes approx.
Any other suggestions to keep it stable would be fantastic but at least in the meantime I have a workaround.

ESB (Enterprise Serice Bus) is backbone of SOA. OSB (Oracle Service Bus) is an ESB product. Time machine needs its own partition to operate. So you are not going install a OSx Lion on that volume.
If there is enough room you may be able to partition the drive on the fly with DiskUtility
Are you saying you clean installed Lion and you are trying to move your user Data over with TM via the migration Assistant? Please explain.

The only way to find out is by trying to setup a new iCloud account using the address you want, or creating an email alias in your current account.

It's highly unlikely that such a simple address is still available after over a decade of Apple letting people sign up for @mac.com, @me.com and @icloud.com addresses.

Budget availability for commitement despite service entry acceptance

I have WBS budget 1000 INR, Then created commitment for 1000 INR.
Sbsequently I have service entry created and appoved.
How ever, I have invoiced for 900 only.
I wish to get the remaining 100 to be available for commitment for creation of new PO on a different vendor.
Please advise the possible options

Follwoing options are available
- Block the purchase order item.
- Reverse the existing service entry and create a new one with Final entery indicator set.
- I it is a LIMIT service order, reduce the " Overall limit" to match the actual amount.

Hi there, I'm myseld using the Application data-field in order to collect mobile forms OFFLINE.
I can collect as many mobile form as i want BUT, of course, need to be online to sync the data from mobile to their cloud.

Otherwise, would probably need to plug ur idevice and look for the application database with such tool as iConnector.

I have configured standby database for our 11.5.10.2 instance in default mode max performance, now I want to change it to max availability, so i want to know what should be value of archive_log_dest_2 , note,the value should not effect my production in case standby is not available or redo can't be shipped to standby server
