'HelloMidlet' wizard not working

Hi everybody,
i've bought a SAMSUNG SGH-D980 which is apparently j2me compatible.
I have downloaded the Eclipse plug-in from Samsung website and the SDK for samsung as well.
Then I created an 'HelloMidlet' project using the Eclipse wizard on my pc.
It should just display 'Hello Midlet!', but when I run the project , a mobile-like window appears and a NullPointerException is thrown and displayed instead of the 'Hello Midlet' writing.
This is happening on my PC, I haven't copied anything inside my mobile..
Could anyone suggest how to fix this issue ?
package test;
import javax.microedition.*;
public class HelloMidlet extends MIDlet {
private TextBox helloBox;
public HelloMidlet() {
             helloBox = new TextBox("Hello world MIDlet", "Hello World!", 25, 0);
protected void destroyApp(boolean arg0) throws MIDletStateChangeException {}
protected void pauseApp() {}
protected void startApp() throws MIDletStateChangeException {
Display.getDisplay(this).setCurrent(helloBox);
}

If you've tried a different cable, a different USB port and a different computer, then your iPhone likely has a hardware issue.
Create a backup to iCloud or iTunes, then restore your device as new.  Take a new picture, and see if you can import it.  If not, then you need to get your iPhone serviced.

    Before you reload your OS I suggest you call your carrier first. This could be an issue on their end, it may be caused if your carrier  has not correctly provisioned the BlackBerry smartphone for BlackBerry data services.

  • EVDRE wizard not working.

    Hi,
    we have 2 identical clients (pc). We are running SAP BPC 7.50.05.1004 and Office 2010 on both.
    The problem is that the EVDRE wizard works on one of the clients, but not the other. The one not working simply generates a evdre report without the wizard.
    Any ideas/suggestions ?
    Thank you,

  • NI Goop Wizard not working with LabVIEW 2009

    I have added the NI Goop Wizard using VIPM (VI Package Manager) into my LabVIEW 2009 SP1 installation however it is not working. Whenever I select Create New Class from the drop down (same applies to menu selection) nothing happens and the drop down returns to it's default selection. I have tried this on 2 PC's both with 2009 SP1 installed, both exhibit the same unwanted behaviour. One of the PC's also has LabVIEW 8.2.1 installed also with NI GOOP Wizard and this installation works fine.
    Anybody using GOOP Wizard with 2009 ?
    Cheers

    Hi there Chris,
    Off the top of my head it's my understanding that NI GOOP wizard is legacy software that was made redundant by the native GOOP tools in LabVIEW 8.2.0 and later.
    In light of this it's a bit confusing that everything is working fine with 8.2.1 for you. Is there a version to the NI GOOP Wizard that you are using?
    I had a search across the website but I'm afraid I haven't found any other examples or poeple using the GOOP Wizard in LabVIEW 2009 or 2010.
    Kind Regards.

  • Access 2010 - Wizards not working after installing SP1

    Hi Folks,
    After upgrading my Office 2010 64 bit to SP1, I've started Access and now I receive a series of errors related to the Wizards, making the software useless.
    Here is what's happening (testing done in new files \ new db's):
    Case 1 - Trying to insert a button in a form, while the "Use control wizards" option is activated
    ERROR1: The database cannot be opened because the VBA project contained in it cannot be read. The database can be opened only if the VBA project is first deleted. Deleting the VBA project removes all code from modules, forms and reports. You should back
    up your database before attempting to open the database and delete the VBA project. To create a backup copy, click Cancel and then make a backup copy of your database. To open the database and delete the VBA project without creating a backup copy, click OK
    if I click ok I get
    ERROR 2: The code contains a syntax error, or a <DB_NAME> function you need is not available. If the syntax is correct, check the Control Wizards subkey or the Libraries key in the <DB_NAME> section of the windows registry to verify that the
    entries you need are listed and available. If the entries are correct, either you must correct the <DB_NAME> Utility Add-In, or the file acWzlib or this wizard has been disabled. To reenable this wizard, run <DB_NAME> or Microsoft Office Setup
    again to reinstall <DB_NAME>. Before you reinstall <DB_NAME>, delete the windows registry keys for the <DB_NAME> Utility Add-in and acWzlib.
    Case 2 - Trying to insert a picture as button background (using the properties tab)
    ERROR: "Microsoft Access can't start the wizard, builder or add-in"
    What I did so far:
    a) Checked the Wizard file (seemed ok - read \ edit permitted for all users)
    b) Checked registry wizard entry (again - seems ok - no errors or bogus)
    Right now I'm pretty desperate as I can't really use a lot of features. For the moment reinstall is not an option as I'm against a tight deadline. I would really appreciate any help \ support \ advice that can make this thing work.
    P.S. - I forgot to mention that Access worked flawlessly before applying this SP1 - I'm really disappointed on how things turned out...
    Cheers,

  • UWL Wizard Not Working - EP7

    Just wondering if anyone else has had this.  Message is out with SAP support too.
    I'm being lazy and trying to use the wizard in EP7 (SP10) to remove tabs from the UWL.  However, when I go into:
    Click to Configure Item Types and Customize Views Using a Wizard -> Customise the look of the UWL main page the screen does not display any tabs to be removed.
    Has anyone has this screen working or has anyone had the same issue and got it working?
    If I can't get it to work I'll just go back to the old hacking of the xml files.  just thought it would be neater to use the wizard.
    Thanks
    Paul

    SAP Support came back with the answer.  You have probably got a few configurations in there already  - I had two which I think were added by the MSS business packages.
    THerey are com.sap.pct.erp.mss.tra and another one.
    Take a backup of these and then delete them.
    Then the wizard works.
    Then upload them again.
    Hope that helps

  • Rel4.1EA2 table to view wizard not working

    Using 4.1.0.873
    If I go to Tool-> Table to View Wizard (or View to Table Wizard), nothing happens. No message. I looked for a log file but do not see that either.
    I tried using ctrl-shift-A as well with the same result.

    Hi Kent,
    Thanks for reporting this.
    We were aware of this problem in 4.1 EA2, which should work fine in the next version.

  • BI Pattern Wizard not working

    Hi, when I try to create a template in WAD using the ICP Pattern I get errors in the template.
    RSWADMDERR1 169 Item not recognized; check spelling or metadata in system
    RSWADMDERR1 064 Parameter not recognized; Check your metadata.
    These errors are presented in a dialog box.  Selecting OK brings me to the detail error messages which shows:

    E165    Itemtype of Object item::DATA_DISPLAY not known

    E180    Illegal Parameter value of Paramter INITIAL_STATE of Object data_provider:QUERY_VIEW_DATA_PROVIDER:DP_1
    The funny thing is that the wizard didn't even ask for a data provider.  has anyone got experience with this wizard in BI 7.0 that might be able to help?

    Just had to input an infoprovider in the appropriate place in the wizard.  It's not intuitive.  The place to input an infoprovider looks like part of the accompanying graphic.

    it seems like you don't have your BW side and Portal side properly integrated between them and it's mandatory.
    Look through this Note - 983156 -  BI configuration w. Template Installer
    Follow all the steps, before launching the Template.

  • Convert to component wizard not working

    When I run the Convert to Component wizard with the tool, I get a dialogue that I cannot close. I then have to force close Eclipse and restart the project again. The tool seems to work but I cannot close or exit the Dialog window at all.
    Then when I restart, the project has the following error:
    The container 'LiveCycle ES2' references non existing library 'D:\Apps\eclipse\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\bundles\689\1\.cp\libs\common\adobe-livec ycle-client.jar'
    Am wondering if the two things are related?

    Hi Rex,
    I am creating a new Java project (File > New > Java Project) then I right click the new Project in Package Explorer and click Configure > Convert to Livecycle Component Project. Eclipse then shows a Dialog where I can select which projects I want converted. You then tick the checkbox, click Finish and the project gets a component.xml but you cannot close the dialog without force closing the Eclipse instance. Actually, as soon as the dialog is opened, you cannot close it at all without force closing Eclipse.
    This is the latest LCWCD tool and Eclipse Galileo (3.5.2).
