1, if implement this function at the side of DataBase, how to do it.
2, if implement this function using java programe, how to let it auto running.

Auto Run Program not updating Settlement Rules for few WBS elements

Hi,
Addition of settlement rules for OPEX WBS.
In producion system, two jobs are running daily for generating settlement rules of WBS elements but, all WBS elements are not updating with Settlement rules.
It is becoming a problem in the Period end while doing the settlement. Currently we are updating the settlement rule manually.
We have investigated and found the following WBS element with Profile name are not updating Settlement rule.

Hi,
I suppose these are background jobs. Usually there is an issue with background jobs that are run for a custom developed program. Not sure why that happens. Even i faced this issue with a couple of jobs in my system. I have still not found out the reason as to why this happens. There might be a possibility that these projects were being processed in the foreground by some user and hence they were omitted from the run.
I would suggest you to consult your technical guys on this.

Removing auto run programs from start up, removing auto run programs from start up

I downloaded a great ear trainer for musicians, called Dolce Ear Training but the silly *** thing automatically intrusives itself on start up, any ideas how to stop that??? Also I when I bought my latest Western Digital TB drive it seemed to install something by itself on my TOP menu bar next to tthe ime machine icon. Any ideas how to remove that?

Auto run BDC program

I Generated one BDC program. Its running properly. But what our client requirement means when data come in Flat file (TEXT file or Excel file) these BDC program should start automatically. How i will do this auto run functionality. If any one knows about this plz let me inform immediately.

That means your BDC program should be schedulated and the job should be submitted by an event (see trx SM64), this event should be triggered if the file is updated.
Now the problem is to understand how the file is updated, because the program updates the file should trigger the event too.
If the file is updated by a user, u can schedule your program periodically, and if the files is updated u run the BDC

Auto Invoice Program taking too much time : problem with update sql

Oracle EBS version : 12.1.3
Though we have a SEV-1 SR with oracle we have not been able to find much success.
We have an auto invoice program which runs many times in the day and its taking too much time since the begining . On troubleshooting we have found one query to be taking too much of the time and seek suggestion on how to tune it. I am attaching the explain plan for the for same. Its an update query. Auto run file for installation of HP Officejet 8500 Pro A909g Missing from driver download

I have a HP Officejet 8500 Pro A909g. I downloaded the new Windows 8.1 64 bit driver as 8.1 would not allow the scanner to operate on the existing driver. Printing was fine. When i went to install the wizard, auto run file for the wizard is missing and so the installation can not run and instal the new driver.

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you're having an issue getting your Officejet 8500 scanning on Windows 8.1. I will do my best to help you with this issue.
Did you upgrade to 8.1 from an older version of Windows?
If so, with it not scanning correctly. You can try just removing the HP Solution Center from programs and features.
Go to the bottom left corner of your screen right click on the Windows icon> go to Control Panel> Go to Programs> uninstall Solution Center if it's listed.
Next, instead of using the printer install wizard. Download the software from this link: HP Officejet Pro Full Feature Software and Driver. Let it run through, it should prompt to " add more software". This should allow you to reinstall Solution Center.
If you run into issues, there is something you may have to do. If you get a file missing error here, or the install hangs check your computer for the following.
McAfee Live Safe - Disable the "Realtime Scanning".
Check for and remove HPOINS*.dat or HPWINS*.dat. Here is a link to a post by JonW on how to do this: Re: installer setup hangs under Windows 8.1.

I want to develop a Servlet application that auto run on the server everyday.
The application should be satisfy the following requirement:
1. auto run on scheduled time
2. immediately run when the server restart

To sum up the idea, I have 2 ways
1. Use "crontab" to schedule application to run. (I'm using Linux with Tomcat)
2. Place the application in thread.
Which one is better ? And, I'm new to crontab. Is this possible to set the CLASSPATH and run application by using crontab. Now, i'm trying set CLASSPATH in crontab, but still not success.
If I use 2, place the application in thread. How to auto run application after the server restart ?

if you use the solution with the crontab your java program is monitored. if the program crashes the cron starts it again. put you have to write a shellscript to start the javaprogram and to check out the program already runs.

to write a startscript (rc-Script) you can look at the skeleton-file. normaly it is in /etc/rc.d. name skeleton.
copy that file and edit it. after that link the file to the runlevel-directory.

SAP will tell me the message : manually run AFAB to adjust diff. data.
So. have any user exist .
I can insert ABAP code to AUTO. run the AFAB. before AW01n, or after Asset create (AS91) ?

We implemented Fixed Assets in SAP March 1, 2009. We set our transfer
date to 2/28/09. Our tax department has a need to make changes to the
depreciation lives and methods of assets that were capitalized in
2008. We have used the Mass Change functionality to make the changes
but can't get the depreciation to recalculate based on these new lives
and methods. Transaction code AFAR (program RAAFAR00) does not allow
us to recalculate depreciation for 2008. We found OSS Note 646691 and
applied it to our DEV system. This note allowed us to change the year
in table T093B to 2007 thus allowing the recalculation of depreciation
to take place. We then applied the note to our TST system working our
way up to PRD but the recalculation program does not do anything in
TST. We don't get an error message or anything it just does not
recalculate the depreciation at all. Is there another note that I need
to apply in order to get this Note working correctly.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Downloaded torrent files no longers auto-run after downloading

When downloading a torrent file, Firefox use to auto-run the file after completing download. Resulting in the file being added to my torrent program. Now it stopped doing that and I can find where the setting is to change this behavior. Yesterday i did not have this problem.

Yes, for a strange reason, the default behaviour for downloading Torrent files changed to "save to" instead of opening the file with uTorrent (or BitTorrent or anything else you're using).
To fix this, go to your Firefox "Tools" menu, then choose "Options / Applications", and under "TORRENT File", change the value to your favourite Torrent application.

Hi,
We have had the same problem in a non-express application
with a heavy server partition. In our case, the error was not
systematic, depending on the server workload at the time we
tried to partition and run.
The work-around we're using is to put the -fm flags (increasing the x
parameter to say 30000) in the 'server arguments' of your server
partition
properties in the partition workshop. Note that if your server is a Unix
platform,
you need to put double-quotes before and after the parenthesis in the -fm
syntax.

When running the same example, by creating a local server in Eclipse(creating new Server connection pointing to same Tomcat 6.0 installation) it runs fine without any error.

So to overcome this error I had to place the <Resource> element in DBTest.xml under C:\Tomcat 6.0\conf\Catalina\localhost {color:#000000}and then it works fine. {color}{color:#ff0000}*Why is the context.xml file in META-INF not considered by Tomcat server using Sysdeo Plugin?*
